we can't change the rules of the exchanges ...... Some exchanges have designed their own set of rules to find out any hidden in the source code. They need it necessary to prevent their users trading a scam coin. If you know crypto fails in 2013 and 2014 you would have seen a lot of hidden premined coins and scammed 1000s. |

I think some people who have successfully synced the old chain might the node alive for somedays for others to sync properly. I downloaded the recent bootstrap uploaded in cloud.mail.ru. But stuck for 15 hours to sync more.

It's under 400Kb right now... be patient with syncing . I have no issues with syncing. I'm getting only one active connection and blocks not moving.

I have 4 Added to addnodes. I have to wait if it get more connections. Not syncing for me. What is the current block height? I think I need to keep it open for very long time. I got some 20 blocks now. Then stops and says upto date. I have to wait. |

Altex needs to fix the issue also would like to deposit my coins while my wallet is still syncing and staking,my wallet goes on and off ,I would like to swap as soon as possible before the new wallet comes out..
the new wallet is already out, i was able to swap my coins (ignored the error on the exchange) Do I need to update to the new wallet before sending coins to exchange? No, send coins from old wallet first. I wish that I could help you sync. I haven't had any problems syncing. Not sure how my config is any different from others. I deleted except the wallet file. Created a Chunk.conf file with only one addnode suggested by feta. What else I need to do. i also had problems to sync. i did the same as you to fix it + i had to restart the wallet 20 times or so. open wallet -> sync few blocks -> stuck -> close wallet -> open wallet -> sync few blocks -> stuck -> rinse and repeat until fully synched. maybe this will help you too not sure ... Okay. I will try to do it. Also trying to port forward. |

I don't think about any scam here. The reward system is producing lot of coins to miners. Miners want to have quick profits. So they dump it as fast as they can. Once the reward goes below 50, the price will go up again.

The inflation is very different for fiat vs Zcoin.
For fiat 2% inflation in next year equates to inflation of 0.005% daily.
For ZEC, 1000% inflation in next year equates to 3% daily inflation rate.

It's all about supply and demand. I think most here wished they could have bought Bitcoin in the first few thousand blocks regardless of its inflation. Comparing bitcoin to ZEC is a bit stretch.
