Hi,
I would like some explanations on aro.cool.
I have been mining for a few days at 16 H/s. I get paid approximately 10 ARO daily.
But when I search my wallet address on aro.cool, either in current shares or historic shares, I find nothing at all.
Questions:
- why does my wallet not appear on aro.cool?
- what is current shares?
- what is historic shares?

Finally how is my reward (10 ARO) determined?

Yeah i am also wondering this, what i think: that system works when u find shares in the current block, at that time u can find ur shares using that systems on the pool. When ur shares are from block from a while ago u can't find it on the website.
The 1 time i can fill in my wallet adress and i can see my shares, the other time i can't.

When i look now to the historic shares and place my wallet:
Shares:14809 %:0.79% Best DL: 991315  **wallet**

Impossible

The opposite of death is growth

Very true, it is nice to have a cryptonight example of how devastating asics can be to a network that doesn't ultimately want them. We have seen lots of people just drop ETN mining and new people coming along in some cases accusing the pool operators of foul play wondering why they earnt less etn in a week than a single day on the mobile miner. it is going to be a hard time for pools to recover from the lost miners

I dont know, just like me and many other people are just mining some other coins at this moment. But all the bat files are ready to go to ETN again as soon the update has deployed.

For now i am also only mobile mining, also because this give more coins then my gpu's can do (totally when u look at the electricity costs). But all those gpu's are ready to go back to ETN as soon the update has arrived.

They've applied to CMC, but CMC requires a constant daily 100k volume for a coin prior to being listed.
Then founders should sell and buy 100k daily Smiley

However i am mining i would like to buy this coin (totally at the price where it is now), but i dont like octaex.. When its on a website like cryptopia or hitbtc it would be much safer and easier to buy this coin.

I tested octaex 1 time, i send like 100k qwertycoin to that site. The coins arrived, 1 week later the coin was delisted from octaex, my coins? gone. This was the first and last time i did something with octaex.

And what i also read here is that the Linux and(?) the mac wallet will also release before the end of this month. So i dont know if they want to release those wallets first before going to the bigger exchange.

Maybe if somebody from the ARO team will talk here, we get our questions be answered.

ETN have to fork soon or it will useless coin.

https://electroneum.com/2018/05/22/win-a-chance-to-see-richard-speaking-at-bci-summit-in-new-york/

Read this latest update they are working continuously to make it more attractive for people and this community is growing rapidly. We are very close to this moment when this fork will happen and this will continue with new energy.

And those ''fork'' is comming next week at the 30 of may (or 31). All this information u can also find on there facebook. Edit: ah also on ur link u can find this information about the fork on 30th of may

The next thing i found out, however i think it's already placed in this topic (i don't know if there is a partnership upcomming between Samsung and ETN, i just found this website):
www.samsungetn.com

https://www.whois.com/whois/samsungetn.com
This website is registered by Samsung:
Name:
Samsung Securities Co. LTD

Organization:
Samsung Securities Co. LTD

City:
Seoul

Postal Code:

Country:
KR

Email:
**@samsung.com

I think many news is comming this year. But for what i know the ETN team is only sharing news if there is real news.
When u look at other coins, they say so many things, they give so many promises, but at the end they do nothing. It looks like ETN is having less words but more actions (just like the link u post, that's just great!).

Also about this MoneroV7 system, yes some little coins are already forked a few days later then Monero did the update. But there is a big difference between those coins (xtl, qwerty and more) and ETN. ETN got much more systems running, they got contracts with other companies. U can't simply change the ALGO without testing a lot. U must do much more research, u must check every system what is connected to ETN before u can do this big update.
I think this is the main reason why ETN planned the ''fork'' at the 30/31 of May (so next week). All those other coins what are already forked to MoneroV7 doesn't need to check anything, they just need to change the pool info and that's it. This because those other coins dont have more systems connected to there network then a pool site. ETN got much more connected to there blockchain/system, and yeah its not strange that this take more time :d

I believe that's the most profitable coin for CPU mining, yes?

Yeah and it's kind of a new coin
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ARO] | Arionum | CPU | PHP Based | Decentralized Revolution on: May 22, 2018, 03:31:17 PM

and what if u use the arioccpminer? I get higher speeds with arioccpminer in compare with the java miner.

Thanks for the suggestion. Ariocppminer gives much worse results than the java miner on my configuration. Updated my benchmarks:

2x Xeon E5-2690 running 22/32 threads with Java Miner AVX 0.24: 16 H/s
2x Xeon E5-2690 running 22/32 threads with Java Miner AVX 0.25: 16 H/s
2x Xeon E5-2690 running 22/32 threads with Java Miner 0.25: 17 H/s

2x Xeon E5-2667 V2 running 22/32 threads with Java Miner AVX 0.25: 19 H/s
2x Xeon E5-2667 V2 running 22/32 threads with Java Miner 0.25: 21.6 H/s
2x Xeon E5-2667 V2 running 22/32 threads with Ariocppminer 0.9.6 no AVX no relax: 10 H/s
2x Xeon E5-2667 V2 running 22/32 threads with Ariocppminer 0.9.6 AVX no relax: 11 H/s

Hmm i get with 1x i7 2600 on ariocppminer 0.9.6 avx around the 8.5H/s with 6 threads.

i dont remember what chipset the xeon is using, but are u on DDR2 ram? It looks like this coin wants fast ram memory also.

447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ARO] | Arionum | CPU | PHP Based | Decentralized Revolution on: May 22, 2018, 07:08:25 AM
Sharing my benchmarks: (all on windows)

2x Xeon E5-2690 running 22/32 threads with Java Miner AVX 0.24: 16 H/s
2x Xeon E5-2690 running 22/32 threads with Java Miner AVX 0.25: 16 H/s
2x Xeon E5-2690 running 22/32 threads with Java Miner 0.25: 17 H/s

2x Xeon E5-2667 V2 running 22/32 threads with Java Miner AVX 0.25: 19 H/s
2x Xeon E5-2667 V2 running 22/32 threads with Java Miner 0.25: 21.6 H/s

I'm not running 100% of the CPU power as I need these machines for other tasks.
The Java Miner is running very stable.

However at the current ARO exchange rate and given the power consumption of my CPU and my power costs, mining ARO is just as expensive as buying it directly on the exchange. Of course your efficiency will depend on how much you're paying your electricity and how efficient your CPUs are.

and what if u use the arioccpminer? I get higher speeds with arioccpminer in compare with the java miner.
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | CRYPLY | CPU Only | YeScryptR16 | True Cryptocurrency on: May 20, 2018, 01:55:20 PM
What is going on with Cryply? After reading the posts I am really confused? Did the Devs have a fight and split, did a hacker take over devs accounts, did the dev bail, or what? People are still mining and the coin is still being sold and purchased on crex24 so its not dead. I would really like to understand the conflict and what happened or is happening, before I do anything with this coin. Huh

I think it was dev split, then dev takeover which resulted in.. loss of trust - the worst thing that can happen to a coin.
either hodl  and come back here in a few months, hoping tosee all back on track or dump and forget.
My guess its that Mr Cryply is no longer involved in the project and that could be why the post from him. I find the coin interesting so I will watch it for a while and see what happens.

still minig until i find another cpu coin i like the look of

So take a look at arionum (also here on bitcointalk), PHP and CPU only, well there is an GPU miner but it dont really got a profit against CPU..

So does it run on the new Monero V7 because of talking about asic-resistant?

Hey!

Who is behind https://aro.party?
I get many rejected shares since this morning, almost 10 rejected per hour.

For now i switched back to aro.cool

Reason for reject:
Submit DL: 555683 nonce: NC7vqyBr77XC4hY2Q9aVTWT0XV76wDlYvMjdu70CG5
Block was found before we could submit nonce.
 ==> Share rejected :-( !!!

Edit:
tested aro.party again:
[MN00 18-05-20 15:31:44] Pool rejected nonce with msg: {"status":"error","data":"Invalid argon - PZ8Tyr4Nx8MHsRAGMpZmZ6TWY63dXWSCy2MujD67V474AVPEQziWFKHvHkLVdaFDKCceu5SjAQd6Lzx vW4PE8YDZSoagjtvitv2rob7gJYyuJ4wSnCSTDwjz-0NkvcApe5WwHGsQnoAroqYVA1iToi0gwkq8auoK5lh-2zXa18RxKsp2gKtvLuFMpyPiuQKFYWF5RCpmjjaPqAHwpghijUoUNK8rnk3zDLzVfH1REr4CEFHJ7SRhhYoNADWj-24466986 - $argon2i$v=19$m=524288,t=1,p=1$VTZnYnZwS0h0cExWT1F5Kw$wEHbO2l2lRSBltwDkCI3I6Y73QCsjfZxikLFCbwKB/I","coin":"arionum"}

After this, the message from above come about the share rejected.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ARO] | Arionum | CPU | PHP Based | Decentralized Revolution on: May 19, 2018, 08:03:34 AM

1. Aro.cool has been transformed in a vardiff option for small miners, it's hashes are sent to aropool and the payments are distributed from there. Ignore the last won block on aro.cool, it no longer matters and it pays regularly.
The deadline on aro.cool is 1-4mil (depending on diff) and all the small miners are encouraged to use it!

2. Aropool.com's fee has been lowered back to the original 2% as the donation campaign for the next exchange listings has been finished and the goals have been reached. We have now 414.000 ARO and 3 BTC which will be used for the future exchange listings.

Great job! And thanks for the clear information
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ARO] | Arionum | CPU | PHP Based | Decentralized Revolution on: May 19, 2018, 08:01:40 AM
what is minimum hashrate to mine at http://aropool.com?

if I use several miners/computers with same Arionum-address will it add all hashpower to "one miner"?
like 10 computers with 5h/s = 50h/s using same Arionum-address

Basically, yes

thanks.

is 50h/s a decent hashpower to start mining at aropool.com?

If I were you I would probably use aro.cool or https://aro.party

I am on aro.cool now, but I need to know what minimum hashpower/rate to mine at a larger pool before I invest in more miners.

Aro.cool until 100 H/s, aropool.com after 100 H/s.

Thanks!

Good questions! I also didnt knew this. I was still with 1 miner on aropool.com, i changed that one now to aro.cool

Hi,

The LightArionum wallet crashes on launching the wallet.
I'm using windows and the wallet was downloaded a minute ago. Encrypted the wallet, went to the mining tab and clicked "Mine". I see in the log window the sentence "Starting to mine with 32 threads" and then the window automatically closes.
Tried with 4 threads and 8 threads also.
CPU: Xeon E5 2690 x2

I have the same exact issue. Did you find a fix?

I dont think this is the solution but at least u can try:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145

However, the miners on the topicstart are beter/faster. I dont use the miner inside the desktop wallet.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ARO] | Arionum | CPU | PHP Based | Decentralized Revolution on: May 16, 2018, 06:17:25 PM
Hi,

I have been mining for 27 hours at 16 H/s on http://aro.cool/ but I do not see my shares in http://aro.cool/ - it does not even find my wallet.

My miner (java) indicates 46 shares but when I type my wallet in http://aro.cool/ I get no results.
Looking at the config file I see my public key = private key.
I am running 24 cores.

Your public or private key should not be in the config file unless you are solo mining, it should only be your actual wallet address that is in the config file. This may be why you haven't received any payments.

Also, if the pool does not actually find any blocks, no matter how many shares you get you will not earn anything

Yes and dont forget that all the hashes are going to aropool.com and aro.party since a few days.
Aro.cool dont get the power to find blocks = no payments = no rewards till they find a block. Last block on aro.cool was like 2000 blocks ago.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ARO] | Arionum | CPU | PHP Based | Decentralized Revolution on: May 15, 2018, 08:07:07 PM
Thanks.
I have installed the Java Windows miner and I'm getting 16.4 H/s on 24 (out of 32) threads with 2x Xeon E5 2690 V1 running the AVX version (not AVX2).
Would be good to have a benchmark list somewhere.

I get with 1x i7 2600 with 6 threads (of 8 ) around 8.4H/s on AVX using the miner i told about
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ARO] | Arionum | CPU | PHP Based | Decentralized Revolution on: May 15, 2018, 10:36:07 AM
I have mining questions for a Windows / AMD GPU user:
- I saw a GPU mining in the announcement thread's first post but this seems to be Linux only: no GPU miner for windows?
- for CPU mining which is the most efficient miner currently?
- Any benchmark of the miner integrated in the wallet vs the Java miner?
Thanks!

GPU has no profit because its not much faster then an normall cpu.

I use the ariocppminer from the OP works great. I never used the mining function in the wallet so i dont know about that, i always use standalone miners like this ariocppminer.

And yes CPU is the most efficient miner, GPU is not much faster but it costs a lot more electricity so its a waste of that few hashes. Like ur CPU, i think its faster then the fastest 1080Ti. So using ur GPU for this coin is useless, its an CPU coin.

457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Check out this new hidden gem: Arionum - ($4m marketcap) on: May 15, 2018, 09:46:14 AM
Great to see project starting from the scratch and not looking for ICO fund, but if the community is determine to see this project suceed they need a big exchange or a tie 2 exchange soon, I have issue with the current exchange it is listed on, I can't trade there for secuirty reasons. Cryptopia to me is a starting point

Wont be long until this gem is on a new exchange Smiley

Yeah! I can also not wait to be listed on an exchange like cryptopia. This will be a great motivation for everybody.

hello guys
i have  a question
my miner been up for 15 min
without any shares is that normal
i use cppminer

Hey!

Yes this is normall, this coin is not like the others coin. Or u can see this like a other coin with a high diff.

However, u will get shares like on other coins only not that much.

Depends on ur speed (i think, i am not sure about this one) but with a normall desktop cpu u will get like 15-30 shares on a day. After mining some days u will get 1 or 2 times a day a payout.

But to get stick on ur question: yes this is normall, no worry.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ARO] | Arionum | CPU | PHP Based | Decentralized Revolution on: May 14, 2018, 01:34:59 PM
This one really is a no-brainer right now.  Will be nice to see it on another exchange or two.

Yeah i am also already happy with this coin (not about the price, but about all the working systems). Like the Android wallet works just sweet and fast, transactions goes fast, desktop (windows 10 64bit) wallet sync instant, no wait times for getting up the blockchain.

They are doing some great things here with this coin (ofc, this will automaticly results in good prices on major exchanges).
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ARO] | Arionum | CPU | PHP Based | Decentralized Revolution on: May 12, 2018, 05:14:58 PM
Any plans for listing on any good exchange? Not this unknown shit without trading volumes
there current supply is around 30 million? w

We are currently waiting for confirmation from an exchange we have submitted the listing fee to. As soon as we know when ARO will be listed, the community will be informed

Great, can't wait to see where we can get the coin when we are ready to trade on a beter exchange.
