441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest now or wait a while? on: November 27, 2017, 07:23:13 PM
Hey guys, my name is Thamos and I'm fairly new to Bitcoin. I've been reading up on Bitcoin for like, only, 2/3 weeks now. I was already planning on investing but I wanted to have a bit more knowledge about it all. I guess now I do.

I was just wondering, seeing how Bitcoin's price has increased by a lot over the last couple days, when would be best for me to hop in the pool. Should I buy now or should I wait till the price drops (even if it's only by a small percentage)?

I'm just looking for some advice. Thanks a lot!

Buying now is never too late, but the more you wait for a fall, it might not fall below it's current and you will have to buy, I will say you buy now and wait for the next rise, because before and after the next fork(s) coming, there will be some price fluctuations.
442  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best coin to buy today? on: November 26, 2017, 05:49:19 PM
What is the best coin to buy today?  So many good coins.. sometimes I have hard time thinking what's the best coin to buy.

For me, despite the sudden increase in the price of BCH, BCH is a good altcoin that is coming up and ETH are some good altcoins to invest into. In all, the first 20-50 altcoins are a little good for buying.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to participate in an ICO? on: November 26, 2017, 05:42:38 PM
This is when you help financially in the development of a new project and for the success of the project, you will be given a certain quantity of the coin as a ratio of your investment. You can get every other thing needed by visiting their website.
444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is illegal in some country on: November 25, 2017, 09:02:21 AM
the use of the cryptocurrency is illegal in some countries and punishable special at MOROCCO (North Africa)

Yes bitcoin in most countries are still look at as an illegal currency. And this is a big reason that will slow the general acceptance of bitcoin.
445  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: profit amount? on: November 25, 2017, 09:00:03 AM
To every trader, getting back your capital is always the first thing and then you look into the profits gained. So if you invest big you will be aiming at a big output, and with small investment, a small output. I am still reading more about trading, before I start looking into profits.
446  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do I hold? on: November 25, 2017, 08:49:37 AM
What are the reasons to holding if prices are down?
The reason you hold when the price goes down the amount you used in buying is to wait for a rise in the price of the coin, which will bring you profit. And profit is the aim of trading, which means if you sell when prices is down, you lose your capital.
447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: November 25, 2017, 08:44:39 AM
Everyone wanted higher bitcoin price and we achieved this but another problem become transaction fees. When bitcoin's price was low, we had to pay also low fee and now when it rised, we have to pay high fee in bitcoins and plus that high fee is more higher with current price. Is this fair? The higher the price, the more money miners have with bitcoin exchange.
To my mind when price becomes high, we have to pay low fee and when it becomes low, than fee has to be high. To my mind it had to be done like this from the begining.

If you are saying that at low price of bitcoin, then there should be a high transactions fee, reason your say properly. If the fee is higher than the amount you are transfering when the price is low, and the fee is low when the price is high, then means no one would have come into bitcoin from when the price was low, and if no one had come in at that time, there will be no way the price will rise.
Just like in banks, in my country, when you make a bank transfer of $10, a $1 transaction fee will be charged and if you make a$100 transaction, you will be charged $10. It's same thing happening here.
448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used in space? on: November 23, 2017, 08:32:12 PM
Someone should correct me if I'm wrong.

To the little I know, every buying and selling is done where there are people to carryout such activities. There in the space, what are you wanting to buy up there with bitcoin?
449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Can We Make Sure Bitcoin Never Ends? on: November 23, 2017, 08:27:47 PM
Some people like the Brazil Central Bank Chief called Bitcoin a Bubble & Pyramid Scheme, how can the bitcoin industry prove this wrong and make sure bitcoin never ends but grows bigger?

The death of bitcoin is not coming anytime soon, cause there are new investors on almost daily basis, there are buyers all round the market and sellers. The rule of business is complete deman and supply is complete.
450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin growth again, what to do? on: November 23, 2017, 08:25:04 PM
Bitcoin growth again, for two days it's turn back his position 3960$ and continue to grow!
Should I go to bank and buy bitcoins?

You should have bought it when it was lower and at that time, you should have bought it. Cause now, the price of bitcoin has skyrocked the entire community, giving to all those who held theirs till now a double of their investments.
451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How fast Bitcoin is spreading. on: November 23, 2017, 08:19:25 PM
Bitcoin is spreading very far and becoming more visible in the society, despite most countries has not received it yet as a legal currency /material. Citizens of my country are on a daily basis knowing more about it and are investing into it.

[Congratulations to you and goodluck to your presentation/b]
452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: only 0.000149 btc on: November 23, 2017, 08:14:11 PM
Hello

in my wallet i have 0.000149 btc  Undecided what can i do with this amount, trading ? landing ?  Huh  Huh or what  ? it's not even  cover a transaction fee   Sad Undecided

That is really very little, which is not enough to complete a successful transaction. I will say that you wait to be accepted into a campaign where you will be paid in bitcoin or you buy some satoshi to keep you up. Or if you have some good skills to offer, that will get you more bitcoin. Faucets are waist of time.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China to launch Wechat coin on: November 22, 2017, 09:16:43 PM
China's direction in this is clear.

Early in 2018 they will launch a blockchain based coin linked with wechat and allied with Alibaba. Because it will be instantly useable to more than a billion people for all daily shopping actitivites it will quickly spread beyond China and become the dominant coin.

Also, all the miners located in China will switch to the wechat coin, leaving the other coins with huge problems.

For this to take place/hold,there will have to be an ICO they will hold, for it to be seen by the general public. The Chinese government and economy is of big effect on bitcoin and they doing this is of no surprise to me. Most of the miners of bitcoin and alts are based in China.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel ICOs try to raise too much? on: November 22, 2017, 09:12:11 PM
Hey, I'm interested in everyone's opinions on this. I find so often when looking for ICOs I come across something that sounds like a good idea but then am instantly put off when they all seem to trying to raise 10s of millions for something I would deem could be perfectly possible with only a couple of million or even less.

Do you feel that ICOs tend to try and raise too much? If yes, do you think this is out of greed for their own personal gain or simply because they over estimate the worth of their idea?

Do you feel there is anything we can do as a community to bring expectations back to reality? Other than waiting for ICOs to continually under perform and then eventually expectations adjust?

The high estimated price for soft/hard cap of the new ICOs is shocking and which is giving a clear view that there are a huge lot of scam amongst them all. If the hard cap is obtained at the end, then there is a tendency that they might end up the project.

458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: November 19, 2017, 08:04:25 PM
October 29, 2017 Bitcoin price ranges from $6,000 - $6,100 and today, bitcoin price is now $7,000. Are you surprise?

I think, if only those people who planning to invest in bitcoin manage to notice this sudden increase. I think there is a high chance that they will start investing.

I am not surprised with the current price spark of bitcoin, cause it has started in a long way and survived. Now more people and investors has gotten into it making it more popular to the society. Who knows what it has for us by next year.
459  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does Bitcoin work for online shopping? on: November 19, 2017, 08:00:29 PM
Buying heavy goods with online shopping sites is what I have not done nor come across, but it will be more better you convert your bitcoin to fiat so as to avoid any issues.
Purse us an online site too that accepts bitcoin for payments.
