444  Other / Politics & Society / Re: One World Government? Bitcoin is the future currency? on: June 15, 2017, 03:09:31 AM
Is it almost the time where our world will be one and the people will be attached with the RFID's and also a one world currency?
Mark of the beast, the word mark in greek word means stamp. In the bible, Revelation Chapter 13: 16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. Is this the start of the One world government? The implant microchips or the RFID's that makes them control the people of what they do and track them where they are. If ever the time comes will bitcoin survive in the future or not. No one knows

I have thought long and hard about this, as a Christian. Bitcoin would be the poster child for the one world.currency, but there are a few issues:

Adoption: the whole world will never accept bitcoin. Too late to influence its creation, and they cannot control inflation (can't influence rate of.currency issuance). Maybe something after bitcoin, could definitely be another crypto.

Wallet Permanancy: You can't tattoo, good bitcoin practice dictates you use new addresses liberally. RFID would be be feasible.if reprogrammable, but wouldn't seem smart to tie a current bitcoin address to a person, permanently and irrevocably. If someone gets the key, you are done for the rest of your life.

One world government: look at the news. I don't have to explain to you why we aren't there yet, and won't be for generations. We would need an external menace (aliens, zombies, etc) to.unite a fractured humanity in this manner.

Christian to.Christian, you can be cool ,bitcoin is.not the one world.currency. I checked Wink/but do investigate, and share your findings. This is something that I consider from time to time (as the Bitcoin protocol evolves).

I agree that it won't be bitcoin and suspect that it would be some other blockchain coin. But events are unfolding bit by bit and I suppose that without knowing it, people are innovating towards creating this so called one world gov't.

For instance, there's Vinny Lingham, CEO of Civic who's creating a new token with ticker CVC on the ethereum chain (i think. haven't completely read the ANN yet.) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1942882.0

Civic's supposed mission is to deliver secure, low-cost identity verification that’s decentralized via blockchain technology. Civic’s stealth digital identity platform is designed to replace passwords, usernames and the need for biometrics. It aims to deliver applications for securing cryptocurrencies, e-signatures, social accounts, financial services, e-commerce/credit cards and medical records. Moreover, it will have the capacity to be used as a digital replacement for passports, driver’s licenses and voter ID, among other utilities.... hmmmm, now brace yourselves... Lingham says, “We believe that the bitcoin technology we have is unique and highly differentiated. That said, as we continue to build our user base and network for acceptance, this will draw in governments. We have already had some interest in this area and believe it will only be a matter of time.”

So it's happening, right? It's going there. Full implementation won't be in this or the next gen but when governments begin to accept and utilize blockchain tech then that's it. It'll happen.
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: June 14, 2017, 03:25:58 PM
ETH is centralized by Vitalk and troopers.
ETC is also centralized by Charls H. and his troopers.

Am I wrong?  Cool Cool Cool

well, if you put it that way then bitcoin is centralized by its core developers and litecoin is centralized by charlie lee  Grin

but that's not what i meant about a coin being centralized. eth has been edited to make up for the coins it lost in the dao. vitalik tweeted some time ago that eth will just fork again if any mishaps happen to eth and so some users taunted that eth be renamed forkcoin... i will have to look for that comment so i can add it as reference here. anyway, as for the other coins, they are decentralized as none did what eth has done...

Perhaps we could get into cryptopia? It's a good exchange to begin with
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: June 14, 2017, 02:59:09 PM
guys can you please explain the etc advantages to eth? there are lots of arguement about that. i like and believe etc, but i do not know why can i trust:)

ETC has a Cap of 210 - 230 mil
ETH no cap
ETC is decentralized
ETH is centralized
ETC didn't change time by turning their Blockchain back
ETH "Did" change time by turning their Blockchain back

yes, eth is centralized and i think is getting more gov't approval so i guess it'll be gov't regulated soon. when that happens, i suppose it won't grow as much in value anymore as it'll be controlled? by then, maybe most eth users will realize that etc could be the best of the two since it is the original ethereum and is decentralized - and maybe by then, it'll breakout and go past eth's market value.

449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PSB] Pesobit, the currency for remittances and international cooperation on: June 14, 2017, 02:21:47 PM
It is the first day of our work week here in the Philippines as we just celebrated our Independence Day yesterday.
So what to expect from Pesobit this week? We're cooking up the buying of Pesobit via E-Wallet website (https://ewalletph.vmoney.com).

How will it work?
1) Perform a transfer from your ewallet account to admin@pesobit.net
2) Enter the PSB Address where you want your Pesobits to be sent to under the Message section
3) You will receive the Pesobits within the day using the Pesobit Buying Price at the time of transfer. The buying price will be posted in the Online Wallet buy feature.

How to fund the ewallet account?
In the Ewallet account, go to myAccount tab then click on myDeposit. You will then have the option to fund using Online Banking via DragonPay, GCash or typical bank deposit to the following banks:
Security Bank
Bank of the Philippine Islands
EastWest Bank
Development Bank of the Philippines
Landbank of the Philippines
Unionbank of the Philippines
CTBC
UCPB

As for exchanges, we're working on increasing the trading volume first by increasing its usage and making Pesobit as easily accessible to as much people as possible. And we need to raise funds as well for adding it up to exchanges and not all exchanges simply accept a coin upon request. If only this coin collected lots of BTC during the ICO, these things wouldn't be an issue since we can just pay them at ease. But we're working on it and I do have a 9-5 job as well for my expenses.

This, again, is very good news! It'll be easy to spread word that cryptocoin users can finally get into and out of the cryptosphere through pesobit. If only ewalletph could expedite verification time for accounts so users can use the ewalletph platform sooner

Lightcoin and Dogесoin are corpses, they are the only of a few coins that did not reach past highs

A corpse can not be revived

They're still in the top 20 according to market capitalization where doge is 18th and ltc is at the 6th spot, so I wouldn't call them corpses yet. There's billions traded in ltc and millions in doge. I suppose call them that when market cap drops to less than a hundred...

I was just excited the day before until someone in facebook made me realize that the buy feature in the wallet is off. Would the dev turn it back on? And once it's on again, can we use ewalletph to fund our buy orders in the pesobit wallet? And then from there maybe get it to ccex for trading to bitcoin and other alts...

If this happens, it'll be an easier and faster channel for novice and regular crypto users to get into the world of cryptocurrencies. We don't have to get into the cryptosphere through bitcoin where there's network congestion, relatively long block confirmation time, and outrageous buy and sell rates at the only "exchange" in Ph... Well, bitcoin is good but if there was an alternative coin other than bitcoin to get into the cryptoworld, it would save us all a whole lot of time and money  Wink

Still wishing and looking forward to the dev's next update.

455  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: June 03, 2017, 01:07:04 AM
Their users are getting frustrated about this they're just doing it for their own benefits but not for their users i hope that these thing will settle soon and this kind of service must not extend and resolve this as soon as possible for we as their users will not suffer from these anymore

Please be reminded that Coins.ph is another business establishment so you cannot remove the fact that they will act according to their own good.  One thing I noticed, Coins.ph buy rate is somehow more expensive than other exchange platform and so is their sell rate.  I think it will benefit you if you are the one selling Bitcoins to them since their rate is far more expensive than others.  And you can just adjust if you want to buy cheaper bitcoin by simply finding another exchange that sells bitcoin in cheaper rate.

Maybe you can tell us what are those exchange sites? Even if it is a 5% profit that would be a win win. Undecided

Blockchain-based din just like coinsph.

have a nice day po  Smiley

Sign up at https://ewalletph.vmoney.com/signup.html and then complete the verification process. Once you get verified, you can request for the mastercard or visa card for a certain price and then use it online or on atms nationwide to cashout your funds. To date, as per dev, you can only encash as much as 5000 PSB per day going to your ewallet account. I suppose that's because they're still on testing phase or something. When that's done and all is well, there will be a considerable increase in the encashment amount.
458  Local / Altcoin Announcements (Pilipinas) / Re: [ANN][PSB] Pesobit, the currency for remittances and international cooperation on: June 02, 2017, 02:05:05 PM
I'll look closely on this site, I love what the developers are doing, they are doing their best to promote pesobit and though the value is still low now it has a good chance to rise like what happen in the past, this project is not dead yet and I believe it will rise again this year.
I might consider buying some and store it in my c-cex account, hope I'll not regret.

its never dead not until the dev team stop developing the project. By looking at its price now, its absolutely the good price to get in, X2, X3 can be easy to attain.

Storing all coins in ccex or in exchange is a bad idea, much better to dl wallet if you have good amount of coins considering it is long term.
There is a little risk if that amount invested is not that big, currently there's only 1 exchange who listed c-cex and I heard
there are plenty of shit coins in that site which makes me think it is not good for long term hold.

I have a question to the devs, is there any chance this will be listed in bittrex?

There's a chance that it'll get listed there when the transaction volume becomes considerably good. I believe pesobit is on its way there now that there's ewalletph that'll facilitate money transfers. Once this service is exploited, and pesobit reaches a reasonable level of market liquidity, then the devs will probably have it listed in higher-tiered exchanges.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PSB] Pesobit, the currency for remittances and international cooperation on: June 02, 2017, 01:48:23 PM
This is the Pesobit Ewallet Mastercard that you can use as a regular ATM. Would you like to send money to your family here in the Philippines? With Pesobit it is possible.

1) Process a Pesobit -> Ewallet conversion from Pesobit Online wallet

2) Once your Peso is already in the Ewallet account, top up your attached Mastercard/VISA

3) Withdraw from ATMs as Philippine Peso.

PS: We could have our own design but it will be quite expensive so we'll make use of their generic design for now.

Happy Weekends Smiley

This is very good news! I was just on the thread of a different Phil-based company that facilitates money transfers using the blockchain technology and wow, there were numerous protests about bitcoin buy/sell rates and mining fees. Imagine if they discover and make the most out of ewalletph and pesobit? Then they won't have trouble with the fees and the buy/sell rates, plus they won't have to wait long hours for network confirmations. Just the thought of that brings a lot of excitement!!! Just hope vmoney speeds up on the verification process. I'm still unverified...  Grin

@coins,

What is the Coins Cash Card? How does one get it? Is it a physical card? And where can you withdraw whatever you put in it?

Sir Dabs, di siya physical card as far as I know. Much like smart's paymaya only difference is that sa smart paymaya, pwede mag request ng physical card for 150 pesos ata...
