Who said I will not open source it? I already did it with my groestl.

10 minutes programming, 10% faster :-)
How many hardware errors? Me a lot...
10% faster with HW errors does really count as 10% faster Nevermind, was just intensity too high 😁

10% faster with HW errors does really count as 10% faster I had them with stock kernel as well. Also it's hanging pretty often.

I know, right? Yes, usual tricks. I was wondering if it can be made to fit the code cache.

may I spend a couple words on the algo: history says every algo can be "broken" (using fpga or asic), so why change it again and go thru all the hassle of forks and wallet updates? in the end what matters is coin stability and hashrate distribution which don't necesarily go worse with asic or fpga; btw cpu/gpu mining is over for most of us anyway. unless there is some crypto breaktru I'd stay with groestl.

how is merged mining with noble going on?

The competition is also working Take a look at this https://github.com/sp-hash/ccminer/networkIn my last checkin I changed the constants in Luffa because the first part of the hashing algorithm was hashing constant data. Constant input--> hash = Constant sometimes the compilers are able to figure that out by themselves, but still it's better to do it by hand ;-)

As a result, we can offer CPU power for batch processing first thing I noticed is that with slicify you need windows.

Wolf0 where do i find your miner at?
I haven't written a miner I really should, but writing the stratum bits and host code is such a drag... Why not working to improve the excellent sgminer? HAHAHA just joking! :-D
|
|
|
Maybe, but other opencl applications I've seen use half to a full core for every GPU, while cgminer can run six with the slowest single core cpu. The problem is all the patches and forks it had.

as french, I like revolutions so whose head shall we cut ? x11 is like a banana republic, there is a revolution every now and then. Really want to revolutionize things ? rewrite from scratch sgminer. an advice: stop mistaking revolution and pissing contest... God, SGMiner DOES need rewriting... What will be the advantages to re-writing SGMiner? You've obviously never seen the code. One thing that holds back development is that no one wants to touch it. CGMiner was bad enough, and that is horrid - now we have more misfit pieces of code grafted onto it. It works, but that's about the only good thing you can say about that code. Everybody use it because, as far as I know, it's the best at handling OpenCL (so AMD cards) ;-)

hi cryptonit looks like things are back to normal... im not sure what or who has fixed it but just know that i went every where to try and help u im glad to see its all fixed fixed? now it's -11...

cryptonit, trust -6? I thought you got a positive feedback from someone who bought shares?

Well, it looks like the leaking of Wolf0's kernels has driven the profitability on X11/X13 down further into the dirt. My power supply picked a good time to die last night (and the rig itself is in need of some TLC owing to other troubles). Best wishes to those of you still mining - hopefully it's at least keeping you warm this winter!
I stopped mining months ago ;-)

I don't care about the bin files but I'd really love to have a look at the code :-)
|
|
|
sorry about the noobish question but what is the command to make sgminer to use an existing .bin file... just overwrite the existing one. since the file name is created using the card settings, instead of guessing them, just overwrite it ;-) if you have many bin files: close the miner, remove *.bin, run the miner, close it, overwrite the bin file, rerun the miner.

nice, I was waiting for that, thank you!
