I have a question that I hope the experts will answer. I have not received any minted DMDs in my wallet for since 29-November at 03:00. Prior to that transaction I was receiving minted DMDs at least daily. Up until a few hours ago, my wallet was up and running continuously since the upgrade to 2.0.4, with the exception of a few reboots of my computer which lasted no more than 10 minutes.
A couple of hours ago, I cursored over the minting symbol in the lower right corner of the wallet. The pop up indicated my wallet is in minting mode and that I have 20 hours until my next reward. That message has been the same for a few days. I decided to close my wallet and restart it. I unlocked the wallet again and the message changed to "15 hours until my next reward". This message has not changed since I restarted my wallet about 3 hours ago.
My first question is, does this sound normal? My next question would be, why would I mint coins daily for weeks and then nothing for almost 5 days?
In case you need to ask, I have not sold any DMDs or transferred any out of my wallet.
Thanks.
normal behavior seems u minted all above 30 days old coins
and it need some time until some coins reach above 30 days age again
(or more of them if its just small coin pile above 30 days)
its normal that coin pile between 7 and 30 days age show a basic chance to mint
(like the estimated 20 days u say)
but they need lot luck to really mint
the mouseover info over mint symbol is very inaccurate and only a help to estimate
if it make sence keep wallet open (for the people who only go in mint mode rare)
if u wana see details about coin-age go
settings option display check coin control
and the go send coin and input
there u can see all ur coin pile in ur wallet and their "birthday" (=when their coin-age was reset to zero)
eacht time coin pile part of a transaction or successful mint he is reborn and start again with zero coin -age
edit: hallared gave basical the correct and same answer but sure did confuse u way less than i did
