7970 just 38khs on Neoscrypt  Tongue first time, whats the setting for NEO and which is the best miner?

For 7970, look up the 280x settings.
Tried that but no luck. i am using wolf miner "wolf-neo-sgminer5-hawaii-11212014"

Don't use that one - use Nicehash's build. Hawaii chips are 290/290X.
sgminer uses ckolivas.cl instead of neo when i use that version.
bat file is something like this and neoscrypt.cl is in the same folder.
Code:
sgminer --algorithm neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://stratum.ftc.theblocksfactory.com:3333 -u x.1 -p x

You need the develop version of SG 5.
Thanks. Now i am getting 100khs but still no way near to 200khs. 1100gpu engine and 1500mem clock.

Try intensity 13, gpu threads 2, worker size 64, thread-concurrency 8192

Instead of intensity 13, you could try xintensity 3.. That usually hits the spot on most GPUs. Smiley

And yeah, gpu-threads 2, worksize 64 or 128.

In neoscrypt you usually shouldn't specify any thread-concurrency, then it is automatically calculated from the intensity and gives very optimal results.

bit of improvement, 135khs with xintensity 3.

What version of Catalyst are you running?
Neoscrypt runs best on 14.6 or 14.7, anything else will make the hashrate go down quite a bit.

Wolf0 where do i find your miner at?

I haven't written a miner Tongue

I really should, but writing the stratum bits and host code is such a drag...

Why not working to improve the excellent sgminer?

HAHAHA just joking! :-D

Hi guys. I am a new miner around and want to ask you if you can share a bit of your wisdom with me.
I have a mining rig with 6x r270 ,and i am having like 2800 Mh/s per card with sgminer 5.0.
when i try to switch to Sgminer 5.0.1 i am loosing some hashes actualy around 2500 per card. It si clear that i am doing something very wrong. Can you tell me what i can have with these cards and how to achieve it? Thank you in advance.

I found some nice kernel improvements to get about 20% speed increase on almost every kernel.
I will soon show some results Smiley
I know it's not as fast as the wolf0 binaries yet, but there is still lots of work to do. Cool

Did someone try the new OMEGA driver ?

I just tried it.  I lost about 6% hash rate from 14.7.  Uninstalling now.

actually (I haven't tried... the latest), but the moving to 14.9 and higher require some change to gain speed (in particular for the rotations...)

Plus Assassins Creed Unity runs much better Smiley

Ive tried 14.11 beta couple of weeks ago , and there was real mess with it. So I returned to 14.7 RC3.
The is a lot of noise about the new Omega on the network, so I figured that would be some performance , but havent much time in testing it...
