the simplest way may be to map a network folder and start the bat from there. as far as i know the startlocation has to have plots folder. maybe you can also use the mklink command to create a link pointing toyou plots folder on the other machine. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc753194.aspxi run all on a cluster filesystem to generate the plots with many nodes and this works fine. but this is linux based. on MSDN i read "Applies To: Windows 8, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012, Windows Vista" i have windows 7 but i can try it ;-) thank you for now! |

I mean in scrypt already 1 or 2 of difficulty is useless in only undermine ... here what is the threshold beyond which no longer deserves to undermine? Tell me, please, how you watch the difficulty? Mi quoto nel primo post: Adesso potete cominciare a generare quello che da adesso chiameremo plot, ovvero il file che ci permetterà di minare. Vi ricordo che più è grande, maggiore è la possibilità di risolvere un blocco!
Adesso i casi sono due: Java 32bit oppure Java 64bit
Caso 1: Java 32bit
Editate il file run_generate.bat così:
java -cp pocminer.jar;lib/*;lib/akka/*;lib/jetty/* pocminer.POCMiner generate XXX 0 800000 500 1
dove:
XXX va sostituito con la password numerica che trovate in address.txt
0 indica la posizione iniziale da cui partire per generare il file.
800000 è un numero che moltiplicato per 256 vi darà la dimensione del file. In questo caso 800000 x 256 = 204800000 = 204 Gigabyte
500 rappresenta la dimensione di ogni singolo blocchetto che comporrà il file totale. Ovviamente 800000 è un multiplo di 500. Va bene anche 900000, 800500, etc, ma non 800234!
1 corrisponde al numero di thread del processore da utilizzare per la generazione. Se avete un i7 4770k userete 7 o 8 ovviamente!
Ora salvate il file e se avete eseguito tutto correttamente, avviandolo inizierà la generazione del suddetto file. Quest’ultimo lo troverete nella cartella plots.
Caso 2: Java 64bit
I vari numeri hanno lo stesso significato di prima, tuttavia potrete utilizzare maggiore ram e creare “blocchetti” più grandi. In ogni caso la dimensione dei singoli blocchetti non influenza la velocità di mining.
Il file quindi deve essere editato ad esempio così:
java -Xmx4000m -cp pocminer.jar;lib/*;lib/akka/*;lib/jetty/* pocminer.POCMiner generate XXX 0 800000 4000 1
dove -Xmx4000m corrisponde alla quantità di ram che può utilizzare java!
Ora salvate il file e se avete eseguito tutto correttamente, avviandolo inizierà la generazione del suddetto file. Quest’ultimo lo troverete nella cartella plots. Rileggi tutto il primo post e capirai meglio! Potrei riscrivertelo qui ma non farei nient'altro che riscriverti le stesse cose che ho elencato nel primo post! Se hai problemi poi scrivi pure ma comincia con il seguire la procedura completa! si grazie la procedura per java 32bit è stata eseguita...mi sono riletto tutto il primo post e credo di avere fatto tutte le fasi... adesso parte ma alcune volt eesce error reading file: coi i dati del mio code. l'errore che ti da è corretto te lo da perchè la fase di mining si presume iniziata a plots generato completamente. ma tu stai plottando e in contemporanea minando. non ti preoccupare tutto ok! ;-) |

il link te lo ha passato bitta... praticamente tu generi un plot, che sarebbe un file di svariati GB, che poi viene scansionato dal miner. poi lanci il miner, anche se la generazione del plot non è concluso, che quando trova una share ti darà un messaggio tipo Submitting share

perchè ti venga assegnato un blocco, devi avere la deadline più bassa tra tutti quella l'hanno trovata per avere qualche speranza minimo deve essere 240, o inferiore... tranne rari casi in cui per trovare un blocco ci sono voluti più minuti del solito... io l'ho capita così se ho commesso errori nella spiegazione correggetemi pure...  |

Non è il mining ad occupare la potenza di calcolo del processore, bensì la generazione del plot. Minare con il processore durante la generazione di un plot è sicuramente controproducente! Puoi minare con la gpu nel frattempo!

Cmq una domanda. Secondo voi per un provider é più facile aumentare le cpu, le gpu o gli hd?
per un provider? cosa intendi? intendo un servizio di mining come cex.io... magari mettere su un servizio del genere è più semplice delle altre tipologie di mining!!! |
