Here are more details: 1. The message I try to sign: Claim_HEX_to_0x3A72cA4d32d272CC02832F4096a40C2c326DfFfb 2. the address I use: bc1q63tz9rvlnjxpz39nvueuu49t6m7cygfynj6krw 3. the signature I get: IFkS40AxIuRGDN/vnjwavfV6R00h3MKArtDB7tpBbnqIMc6WSGIQm/wm4lN7JVbY6jbeMf27x8VOqI6azgwz2Q==
" Wrong Signature" at my end, too. Probably bad copy->paste of the signature or message... Anyways, you can just sign the same message again, it should give you the correct signature. Electrum will provide the same signature when given the same message, if it's still the same, this must be a bug.

im at the seed part but....My backup seed? sorry?
that my public key? private key? 12 word phrase?
You replied to the wrong thread Here's the link to your previous topic, it was moved to " wallet software" childboard: Wallet Help. I've already replied to these questions there.

It's non-custodial yet they process deposits like an Exchange
From the help page, do you mean option 3?: 3. If all the above fail, you'll need to use a full node wallet, install it on a computer and sync the respective blockchain locally (those type of wallets are generally called qt wallets). Once that is done, you'll need to Import the Private Keys of the Jaxx Wallet addresses that you have balances on and initiate the transaction from that wallet instead of the Jaxx Wallet. Instead of using a full node client, just use Electrum. Download from the official page: electrum.org, install/open then create a new wallet using the option: Standard->I already Have a seed->paste your 12-word backup phrase, click option, check BIP39-> next, Select " legacy" if your addresses starts with '1', nested-segwit if '3' and native segwit if 'bc1', then continue. After creating the wallet, wait for a few minutes to sync the headers, then you can send the funds to another newly created wallet or keep using that wallet ( not recommended). Note: you can create more than one wallet on Electrum ( new/restore).

I just tried it using the latest version, sign then verify using Electrum and it worked just fine.
Did you mean "using the same address" not wallet? Because if you tried to verify a messaged signed with a bech32/nested SegWit address to other clients, it will fail to verify.

Is it in the latest version? Is the node fully synced?
For now; Try the GUI, view your unspent outputs from coin control feature: Settings->Options->Wallet tab, tick "enable coin control features"; Go back to the main window, in the "Send" tab, click "inputs".

what if I send 1 btc to an exchange and then sends 1 btc back to my wallet (new address). Will I see in that transaction that that btc came from my wallet in the first place? Or is it another bitcoin with another history? First, read goatpig's reply above. If the Exchange decided to use the same UTXO ( unspent output) from your deposit TX, then you will see that it came from your wallet, but other spectators like blockexplorers wont know if it was sent back to the same wallet since you've used a different receiving address. If they used a different UTXO ( usually consolidated) then it's " another bitcoin". What are the follow-up questions for? For privacy reasons? Because if it's an Exchange with KYC/AML, they and their connections will know that it's you who sent/received the funds. Even no KYC, they still can tell that the user have deposited from 'address X' and withdrew to 'address Y' linking the two addresses.

thanks, i tried it and the address still didn't show up.
Try every derivation path you can choose ( BIP44 examples): The " External/Internal" option will choose if you want to display Normal addresses ( 0=external) or change addresses ( 1=change/internal). The " Account" will choose which " account" you want to derive, you can set '2' or above. But AFAIK, blockchain.com doesn't use change address derivation path so, this might be a case of " upgraded wallet" and that address doesn't belong to your SEED. ( I can't help you any further) BTW, the " chat" from your reply ( post#5) doesn't sound right, are you sure that it was blockchain.info's support that you're talking with?

i used the iancoleman one a while ago. i tried changing the account and internal/external and i would get addresses in the wallet but not for the posted address. i have 2 wallets and when i click manage it shows all my unused addresses and at the bottom there is used address where i can click show and thats where the address is located
Try this using iancoleman again: Do everything you've done, then scroll-down to BIP44 tab, Find " Account" and change "0" into "1" then try to find if your address is in the list, if not try "2". Not the external/internal option.

How many wallets (accounts) are there in the manage window (the ones you can rename)? Where did you tried the "12-word phrase", other clients?
If it isn't imported, then you might have created two accounts using the same seed phrase and you just have to tweak the derivation path to generate the addresses of the second account.

You should change the option1 in your poll because non-newbie accounts can't be nuked. Replace it with " ban" instead, since excessive spamming is a ban-able offence. Link: ( only newbies can be nuked).

What if some transaction is mined into "orphaned block" ?Some node will remove it from mempool because it is in block. But as it is "orphaned block", the transaction is invalidate.
As you said: " in a block", orphaned blocks wont be saved in the nodes' blockchain so, any transaction that's in it that doesn't belong to the valid block won't be removed from their mempool. is it possible transaction is lost in bitcoin network?
Based from the scenario above, no. But for other circumstances like being dropped from ( mostly) all of the node's mempool due to long no-confirmation, yes.

or desktop for cold wallet,
Can desktop wallet be considered as cold wallet? More or less we connect our desktop online most of the times. -snip-Disconnect from the net by removing LAN/WiFi Cards, zero-fill/wipe drive and reinstall the OS; and boom, it's cold storage. Long answer: It's possible with " Air Gap" setup that requires two devices, a " cold wallet" ( cold storage) in a never-online laptop/desktop for tx signing and a watch-only online device/PC for creating and broadcast transactions. Something you can do using Electrum ( Cold Storage tutorial) or other desktop clients.

My only criticism for your review is some wallets were "not recommended" because the reason was "shitcoins"? You would do that to GreenWallet, or Electrum if you can HODL shitcoins in them?
I bet it's because of the inclusion criteria ( written above the spreadsheet), which seemed like also used as the criteria for rating: We have analyzed 48 features for each wallet, the inclusion criteria is : 1) Mainly a Bitcoin Wallet 2) Enough Usage (Over 1000 Downloads)
That said, those that aren't specifically made for Bitcoins with minimal features/security fell to non-recommended.

I would like to ask what is the cost of maintaining a Lightning Node? Or to be more specific, is it possible to calculate the potential cost? Like for Bitcoin Mining, the cost could be roughly estimated based on the kW/hr of electric bills.
Yes, like that. But unlike Altcoin mining, your GPUs won't be running at full load, so just consider the regular power consumption of your rig. BTW, next time, check the date of the topic that you're replying. But this one IMO might be needing a bump.

Seed is lost. did not make backups.
The last 2 posts above will solve your issue if you haven't deleted the Electrum portable's directory. But after that, make sure to create a proper backup this time. Turn off your internet connection, Click Wallet->SEED->Enter your password, copy the 12-word seed phrase to a piece of paper. Keep it somewhere safe.

-snip- Providing the transaction ID alone isn't that solid IMO, it's too easy "fake" the change address by using "coin control" or "pay to many" option/command.
I do not have anything left of Wallet A. I do have Wallet B in my possession. So I do not know how to show the master public key without having anything left of wallet A. Anyway, I would need a pro to help me. I am really not experienced enough. Hmm, like I said, it will be hard to prove that input1 and output2 ( change address) belongs to walletA just from that single transaction. ChainAnalysis and other pro blockchain forensics will basically do a guesswork here unless you have used those addresses together in one transaction ( inputs). Consider hiring another pro: Professional Data recovery; to be able to restore walletA from the drive where it was deleted; if it's a hardware device, nevermind.

What do you mean "only 1 address is showing", from the receive tab or the addresses tab? In the addresses tab (view->Show addresses), there should be at least 20+ addresses if you only used 4.
If you meant "accounts" refer to above post;
Note: Accounts and addresses aren't the same.

Lastly, would you feel safe about using Coinb.in online for locking your Bitcoin funds?
Personal opinion: no.

Can I ask what does it mean the transaction is "currently accepted by blockcypher"? Does it mean that even if I use the timelock there is a chance the transaction would be broadcasted in the Blockchain network (because of Blockcypher) despite having the timelimit in place? This is crucial because if Blockcypher "breaks" the timelimit then the whole thing is useless.
It seems like they are accepting transactions whether it's non-standard or standard, But other nodes by default will reject that transaction from you or their node as long as the locktime hasn't reached yet. So the chance that it will reach a solo-miner/pool's node with non-default mempool setting is close to zero. It'll just result with: " Locktime requirement not satisfied"
