Oh, even only with derivates/futures, this could be hugeeee!

Just to balance the potentially over-bullishness of this thread: though I highly doubt it, since this is going to be a derivatives/futures trade, let's not completely ignore that there's a very small chance that this could be a short position.

Agreed! I was also about to say this. It appears that hedge funds and other types of investment and banking groups might have learned on their own overconfidence during the housing bubble of 2007 and 2008. This is their time where they want to be on the correct side of the big short hehehe.

The game was disappointing, the Bills never really had too much of a chance, Allen was under pressure all game and had no time to find his receivers, Mahomes looked good even if I still think he is not 100% recovered of his toe, unfortunately KC lost their left tackle for good and will not play the SB.

For the NFL experts. Does Tom Brady have better players around him with Tampa Bay than with the Patriots? They are 2nd in passing yards during the regular season. Did Bill Belichick make a misjudgement on upgrading his quarterback?
The receiving core on Tampa Bay is probably top 3 in the league while the receiving core on NE is the worst in the entire league, I will be honest even with Brady there I do not think NE could have made it to the playoffs, so from a purely team building perspective it makes some sort sense to let Brady go and begin the rebuild a year earlier, however this was done when there was no one behind Brady to take the team and Belichick had to hire Cam which was a disaster.

Agreed. The end of Josh Allen’s season. I bet on the Bills +3. I thought Mahomes’ neck injury or the news of his neck injury would cause him not to play good for the whole game hehe.

Also, Tom Brady the goat. You cannot hate on him.

@SaShiRaJaVu. Dana’s new storyboard might be Conor versus Nate Diaz trilogy first to make his image recover assuming he gets the victory. Next after this might be to run another storyboard for another trilogy on Conor versus Dustin.

Another surprise Conor McGregor is knocked out by Dustin Poirier  Cheesy. Now Dana White will be angry that the Khabib rematch will never happen.

Now Khabib can face Michael Chandler as McGregor rematch is out of the picture.

It's the biggest surprise of this event, this is a big turn around for McGregor, the Pacquiao fight might not push through now, he is the heavy favorite here but Poirier wants to make the fight even, we might see a trilogy on this one and we will see Khabib mocking McGregor after this loss, I guess Mcgregor invincibility in the ring is gone, great performance for Poirier this one is much better than the Khabibi Mcgregor fight.

McGregor was out for so long that it seems he lost his touch with the sport. At least in this game.

The Pacquiao fight just got a $XX.XXX.XXX devaluation! Which is good and can lead to more normal PPV prices.

Agreed, it appears some power in Conor’s punches are not there. Is it the whiskey hehehe. I reckon the Pacman fight might also not be in any chance of being organized after the loss. There is no more hype.
4426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I predict stricter regulations for bitcoin and the cryptospace for 2021-2024 on: January 24, 2021, 07:46:04 AM
Coindesk is saying that the correction from $42,000 to $32,000 was caused by the double spent event reported by BitMEX. But from the pattern I saw, it more closely corresponds to the reaction towards the statement from Janet Yellen. A few days back, she made a statement hinting that measures would be taken to outlaw the trading and transfer of Bitcoin. A number of institutional investors took a serious note of this statement.

The double spend news is clickbait. It might only be a whale or group of whales who decided that they want to sell their bitcoins because the profit might be enough for them already. Can it not be as simple as that?

@MicroGuy. I always see the argument for big blocks and decentralized exchanges, however, have never seen them used in volume that matters. We cannot be blind, the cryptospace is being regulated and controlled.

Bad news... fight Ottman Azaitar vs. Matt Frevola and Nasrat Haqparast vs Arman Tsarukyan are canceled and removed from UFC 257 fight card Sad
Ottman Azaitar was one of my UFC picks this time but he missed to show up for weigh-in, and similar thing happened with other mentioned fighter Nasrat Haqparast.

Good thing is that main and co-main events are confirmed!

Ottman Azaitar was also removed by Dana from the UFC for violating safety protocols. It appears that he does not care for this sport or his career in MMA.

As reported by Farrah Hannoun of MMA Junkie, Azaitar and his team cut their wristbands and handed them off to individuals who were outside of the safe zone, who were then snuck past security members. The entire ordeal was caught on camera.

On more lighter news, Conor donated to Dustin Poirier’s The Good Fight Foundation. Similar to how good and entertaining it is to watch the bad Conor, the good Conor is also not bad to watch hehehehe.

Dustin Poirier has confirmed Conor McGregor has donated to his charity, the Good Fight Foundation.

In the making of this fight, originally, McGregor and Poirier were arranging their own exhibition bout with the Irishman donating to Poirier’s charity. However, the UFC ended up making the fight, but “The Diamond” revealed McGregor kept to his word and donated to the charity.

@ilhamsugihamin. You have missed the whole point on why this might have a bad outcome. The cryptospace will become fragmented similar to how the financial system is fragmented instead of being one whole ecosystem for payments and finance for users without the banks.
4429  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tether on: January 23, 2021, 01:57:37 AM
@malevolent. It might also be those audit firms being afraid to discover accounts of Tether’s clients that might bring them threats of bodily harm if they publish the real report hehehe. I am clearly joking, however, we certainly do not know and it only brings more questions.
4430  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-01-22] OKCoin to integrate Lightning Network on: January 23, 2021, 01:23:24 AM
This is good news, thank you. This is what the Lightning network and the whole community certainly needs. I reckon gambling sites and other services should begin offering this also. I have been hesitant in making a transaction to a sportsbook when I see a $5.00 fee to include my transaction on the next block. I also do not want to risk to have my transaction unconfirmed in the moment the games begin hehe.

Also, Ethereum Defi projects have billions locked, I do not know why. The high demand for bitcoin transactions should put Lightning up there in top 10 with the help of the exchanges.

4431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust USDT? on: January 22, 2021, 06:35:44 AM
USDT for me is not an investment but only as a way to secure the assets that I have, so it's not a big problem for me, but for the past 6 years USDT is still safe and doesn't look a scam

You might need to review your post within the next 6 years hehehe. Also, I reckon that you have made that post without doing your research and approach the issue with a skeptical mind. Similar to what we should be doing on any project in the cryptospace.
4432  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tether on: January 22, 2021, 05:51:19 AM
@exstasie. However, we should be skeptics and ask why do the big auditing firms do not want to audit Tether? Afraid themselves of what they might find in those accounts hehehe?
4433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Michael Saylor CEO of Microstrategy wants Elon Musk to talk about bitcoin on: January 22, 2021, 04:57:38 AM
What Michael Saylor might be thinking presently after reading this hehehe. I speculate crazy Craig will sue Michael Saylor of something about a bitcoin copyright and Michael Saylor will countersue crazy Craig for something about fraud bringing us another round of a comedy show on 2021.

4434  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-01-20] Janet Yellen suggests 'curtailing' cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin on: January 22, 2021, 03:46:43 AM
There was recent news from Albania that a gun running organization (supplying weapons to the Syrian war) with wahabist links had increased it's control in the famously violence infested corner of south-eastern Europe.

guess who was helping fund them? (and using which currency/payment network?). I expect you all need only one guess Wink

If Janet Yellen has proof that Bitcoin funded terrorism, it's likely because her partners in crime at the CIA gave her the information, and they only know because they provided all the guns and the Bitcoins for the deals with the terrorists

I reckon for Janet Yellen and all the Democrats, it does not matter if the information about bitcoin and terrorist funding is true or not true. They only want a campaign against terrorism where they can put billions of tax payer’s money in and take much of it for themselves. Bitcoin will only be a casuality in the Democrats’ war of terrorism.

Also, those bitcoiners in social media who larped for Biden will be those similar people who will complain about Biden.
4435  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-02-04] Ex Bitcoin Foundation chair claims billions ahead of Mt.Gox victims on: January 21, 2021, 05:47:38 AM
@squatter. What do you speculate on the outcome of this? Will there be a dump of 150,000 coins? I have seen arguments that there might not be a dump and the agreement has not yet really been signed and agreed. Is this clickbait and FUD?
4436  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tether on: January 21, 2021, 05:25:07 AM
@adaseb. There is certainly nothing that can be proven for or against about Tether unless there was a transparent audit of their accounts. Why will they not do this if they have nothing questionable?

In any case, read this article. To not make some people angry, assume this is FUD but fact based FUD, however.

4437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Michael Saylor CEO of Microstrategy wants Elon Musk to talk about bitcoin on: January 21, 2021, 04:56:10 AM
@Darker45. There might also be the 3rd type of Bitcoiner. The one who is tired of the larping and the hypocrisy of the cryptospace. Many times have larpers of bitcoin act similar to altcoin pumpers hehe. Michael Saylor is one of them.
4438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I predict stricter regulations for bitcoin and the cryptospace for 2021-2024 on: January 21, 2021, 03:21:16 AM
Yes,but more regulations over the centralized exchanges means that decentralized exchanges will have to be regulated as well,or declared illegal. The government officials aren't that stupid. They know that imposing more regulations would mean more people moving into non-regulated crypto exchange platforms,so the officials will have to find a way to regulate the DEX marketplaces.
KYC policies like ID verification might not be sufficient for the "big government" anymore.
Be ready for mandatory address verification. Sad
Except that they can't do that.
When bitcoin itself is not illegal, when fiat is not illegal, when swapping bitcoin for fiat and vice versa is not illegal, the government can not make some of the methods used for doing this exchange illegal either. It's like saying yard-sales are illegal!
Keep in mind that regulations aren't the problem, KYC exists everywhere else and a centralized bitcoin exchange should be no different. Stupid regulations are the problem that will definitely push people away.

Agreed, and it appears that Janet Yellen, the future treasury secretary of the United States will push for stupid regulations to curtail the use of cryptocoins. There are news articles already implying she will support taxation of unrealized gains. Who would want to hold bitcoin and other cryptocoins with a law like that?
4439  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-02-04] Ex Bitcoin Foundation chair claims billions ahead of Mt.Gox victims on: January 20, 2021, 04:17:52 AM
@Sithara007. There are some news articles that are implying that the creditors can claim up to 750,000 coins. I reckon for the purpose of shock and clickbait hehehe. However, we cannot be certain.

Also, I read somewhere before that there were 150,000 coins that remain.
4440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Michael Saylor CEO of Microstrategy wants Elon Musk to talk about bitcoin on: January 20, 2021, 03:40:41 AM
What is this? Michael Saylor larping and wants Elon Musk’s thoughts to larp with him hehehe? He appears to be looking desperate here with bitcoin beginning to weaken in the market.
