4421  Other / Off-topic / Re: In 20 years, what would you like to do with your bitcoin? on: June 05, 2016, 11:55:28 AM
In any case, I will let it sit up in my wallet, because I will either tell me that it will be worth more tomorrow or since it lost all its value, I should keep it as a souvenir.

In 20 years, bitcoin should have already reached its maximum potential. So there is no reason to let it sit more on your wallet. It is the time we should spend it for our pleasure. And if the reverse thing happens, and bitcoin dropped almost no value, yeah, i'll keep it as a keepsake as well.
4422  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: June 05, 2016, 05:33:50 AM
I think this is not worth my job at all, I have a good job so I honestly right now would never consider this.
Maybe if the bitcoin is a lot bigger that I would maybe do this...
It it still depends on how you earn your bitcoins online, if you are into signature campaign and other online jobs, they will also adjust the bitcoins they are giving base on the value of dollars or euros so its still the same, the only thing we can benefit and earn big in the future if the price will continue to rise is to save now so we can completely quit our job.

Unless you are an early adopter of bitcoin, you can never save enough to be able to quit your job when the price rise. And if you are only relying on signature campaign as an income, you can never accumulate enough bitcoin to quit. So it is better to save your job and have bitcoin as an extra income.
4423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: June 05, 2016, 05:25:45 AM
Well I am not addicted  to gambling but is just fun when you win.
Even I am not addicted I can't stop playing.
I am saying that I just don't play every day maybe 1 time in a month

I guess playing once  a month won't get you addicted. It is good for you to resist playing more often even if you experienced winning on games. For people who play more often, it is harder to resist the lure of gambling. It becomes a habit to them and more prone to become a gambling addict.
4424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: June 05, 2016, 04:47:46 AM
Ive been holding for over 3 months and Im not going to let go yet, I still feel that Bitcoins will continue to climb and rise to $600. Its just surprising that lately climb begins before we hit the weekend unlike before climb starts on a weekday.
It almost hit 600$, maybe next try it will go past it. I am holding still and wait next weekend if it will break the 600$. If it does there might be no stopping it from rising. I hope this continues amd break past 800 level which is my goal before I convert to fiat.
4425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016 NBA Finals on: June 05, 2016, 04:43:18 AM
cavs will try to win this game 2 to make  some edge from this series, I think to bet +6.5 for the handicap will try to gamble with my luck for cavs they will do everything here hope to win this game.

They will surely do. They need to adjust their defense and take good.care of the ball. They just have to have a perfect game in order to defeat the warriors in their homecourt. Gsw is hard to beat in their home. Cavs just need to steal a game in gsw court to have a better chance for the championship.
4426  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 02, 2016, 01:56:39 PM
Better you invest all your money into bitcoin now. Because i think the price of bitcoin will keep increase until the halving come. You will get much profit from it.

Even if thr price of bitcoin will.go up, it is not wise to put all your money on a single investment. First, you have to set aside something for unexpected events or emergencies in your life. And second, putting all money on a.single investment increases your risk. It better to diversify your funds and put them on different investment platforms.
4427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016 NBA Finals on: June 02, 2016, 11:49:44 AM
My hope on this final match Golden State Warriors vs Cleveland Cavaliers is ended with 7 match and a drama too. As a NBA fans, i only need a good match.

This is going to be intense as both teams are fully equipped, and Cavaliers this time has full starter team. I hope Warriors will make a back-to-back win in this year's finals.

It is hard game for both of teams they are full loaded and i guess the ryhtm us in cavs because they are great team and healthy for this season and gsw beat cavs last meeting because kevin  love and kyrie is not on the game when it happens for now i think lebron is more confident to  take this win up but let see how gsw will handle this game in their home are they gonna bet cavs again?  Thats the question there.

We never see Warriors lost to the Cavaliers this season. I know regular games are different from postseason games, but I hope there are some game that Warriors will lose in the finals. Just like in Pistons, they are in 3-1 when facing Cavaliers in this season, but in postseason, they are cleaned and eliminated 4-0 by Cavaliers. Warriors might be cautious about this one, as I hope they can defeat Cavaliers safely and securely.

I do not want it to end in a 4-0 or 4-1. I want it to reach game 7,  and have an exciting finals game. And for gamblers to have more chance to gamble and win some profits from the game. A win win situation for all of us. And I do not think this is an easy win for warriors even if they 4-0 the cavs on regular season.
4428  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is trading just a form of gambling? on: June 02, 2016, 11:43:01 AM
Do traders know what the fuck they are doing and tend to profit, or are they in reality just gambling? Sorry for my ignorance.

Only if you do not know what you are doing and just follow your gut-feel to decide whether to buy or to sell, to short or to long. That is the risky and can be considered as a gamble. But if you know what you are doing, can read graphs and trends technically and follows bitcoin news regularly, then you are in for profit.
4429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I never spent any savings on Bitcoin and I'm not broke on: June 02, 2016, 11:24:29 AM
If I had invested my savings in Bitcoin would it be more likely to be broke? Cheesy

It depends on how long are you planning to hold your investment. If you are just short term, and you panic sell on every dip, then you are broke. But if you are able to hold for long term, it is clear at current price that long term holders make profit with bitcoin. So, you make your choice, long or short term? Profit or broke?
4430  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: June 02, 2016, 11:13:24 AM
Do you use bitcoin as currency? Or you use bitcoin as investment? Or both?
I use bitcoin as currency and i never sell my bitcoin, but i prefer to use bitcoin when price is rising Grin

So, how about you?

I use bitcoin as currency and investment. Though I have never invested a single dollar in it. All I invested are my earnings from the games and rounds and signature campaigns I joined in. In a sense, what I invested in bitcon is my time and effort. Part of my earnings I hold and the other half I spend either online or converted to fiat.
4431  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: June 02, 2016, 10:38:33 AM
Just use your power of will and stop wasting your money on useless things and think about your future, you will be so surprised how your money will start increasing.

If you have great control on spending your money on useless things then you will certainly save some money for future and it will increase over a period of time.

Theres a certain limitation of being super frugal though.

Since most people are accustomed to buying things and keeping up with the trend, its only natural. The only difference someone can make a impact is if they suffer in being frugal to build something that can outcome tons of sales so they can naturally keep up with the trend without a pain.

But also know to stay grounded too.

Frugality is not the answer in saving more money. It will just put more stress in you and your health in effect. It is better is if you make your income better and bigger so that you have more chance and more money to save. Even if you are frugal in your expenses but you have only a limited money, then it is useless. Make your earning grow, then you can save and buy the things that can make you happy and comfortable.
4432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: June 02, 2016, 10:26:21 AM
Gambling is just so addicting because of the fact that you can make a lot of money with if you ask me, due to the fact that a lot of people think you can just make some fast money with it they get addicted by the enjoyment they are having.

You are right. The enjoyment, the easy money, the frustrations if you can't win, all these contributes in making someone addicted to gambling. And it these are what people who gambles are looking for. But what they don't know is the headaches it will cause them after the enjoyment and the urges have faded away.
4433  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: June 02, 2016, 10:23:08 AM
people doubt about bitcoin in future, me too, i have plan to go full time on bitcoin, but sometimes i doubt it becuase the bitcoin rate very fluctuative

Well the bitcoins price fluctuation isn't a problem at all and it is always there, given. Because we know, that crypto currencies are decentralized, means
no stable price at all, why you will doubt it if the increasing of price is high because of the coming halving.
And because of it, the demand is getting higher, pursue your plan to go full time in bitcoin, just know the consequences.
Because this increase in price might just be a bubble and we never know off if its really an increase in demand or just a people panic buying because of the event.

Panic buying or not, it is still a good opportunity. If you are holding bitcoins for the longest time now, then you have already doubled the value of your bitcoins. That is already a good return of investments. And if you are trading, then you have a very good opportunity for buy and sell. Fluctuations should not be a problem if you really are in it. There are opportunities to earn even if the price goes up or down.
4434  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: June 02, 2016, 10:18:40 AM
I don't have any plan, i am just a common bitcoin user ,who using bitcoin as currency and not as investment. Maybe in future i will create my plan but now i am not interested.

Even if you do not have a plan to invest on bitcoin, I think you should consider one. It is a great opportunity, and since you are in early, you have a full advantage. Even if you just hold some of the coins that is left in your expenses. If those are accumulated, they will be a good investment and will have good profit someday.
4435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: June 02, 2016, 10:16:33 AM
generaly people will choose paypal because it was already exist since a long time ago.
in contrast to younger bitcoin.  Tongue

Those who have been earning online before bitcoin will definitely choose paypal. It is what they are used to use. But people who knows bitcoin and have an option to choose between the two will definitely choose bitcoin. It is faster and better payment scheme than paypal. I, for an example was a paypal use for the longest time. But now I know bitcoin, whenever there are options to be paid in bitcoin, I choose bitcoin over paypal.
4436  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 02, 2016, 10:13:08 AM
If you have 10 btc ,then save the 5 and invest the other half,, if your confuse which of them will you choose.
You have save 5 in case of emergency ,and.the other half for long term profit..

If you invest one half and save the other half, what will you use for your daily expenses? That is too much investments and savings. What is the use of those if you will not eat at all. The better percentage is 20 % saving and 20 % investments. The money left should be used for daily expenses like food and clothing and rent or mortgage of the house. YOu need to live in order to enjoy the profits of your investments and savings.
4437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: June 02, 2016, 10:09:13 AM
Gambling is bad for person who is too greedy and starving for big profits and income in just one play.Gambling is not bad as long as you have self control and you are not depositing your own money on it.But in other case gambling is the most reason why there are people who is force to get loans just to recover on their lose.

And those loans will hurt the gambler because of the interest it will earn. And if the gambler did not win, he will go back again to the lender and borrow more money. He will dig a very deep hole of debts if that continues. And that is why gambling is bad. Because if you can't control it, it will destroy you financially.
4438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: June 02, 2016, 10:06:27 AM
Gambling has ruined my life in the past and now I really don't feel to gamble as it gives me a feeling that I will loose everything again.
Your decision to quit is the best decision of your life. you have to think about your future bright with no gambling.
But recovering from the damages caused by gambling earlier would be a the biggest challenge for the gambler after quitting his gambling. But the good point is there will not be NO MORE DAMAGE to his wealth. So, there are a lot of possibilities for him to get his life fixed.

Yes, it will be difficult for gambler to recover after the damages of his addictions. That is why, he needs the support of people around him so that he can complete his recovery. If no one is there to help him get through the hard times, he might just regress back into a gambling addict. And that is very sad if that happens.
4439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016 NBA Finals on: June 02, 2016, 10:04:21 AM
Both team deserve to be hete but my favorites from start are GSW but cavs are not to be under estimated

Exactly, how can you underestimate a team where the best player in the world is in. Lebron James will make curry pay for embarrassing him to the basketball fanatics by curry's winning as the unanimous MVP, Lebron was disrespected so he will crush curry.

If they want to beat GSW then they have to do it as a team. There is no Lebron vs CUrry in nba. It is CAVs vs GSW. So there is no lebron crushing Curry. And why does it still matter to Lebron if curry became this years MVP. He already have his MVP trophy of his own. BOth teams are good and they deserve to be in the finals. Funs will enjoy a good game coming from the two teams. And that is what I want to watch, a good and honest game.
4440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: June 01, 2016, 04:12:33 PM
Gambling gives you high enjoyment and nerves when you are betting the highest bet compared to your old bets,  but after the enjoyment and when you loss prepare for thier anger.

After losing a big chunk of money, that's when you start to do bets that you can't even afford to lose or even go all in. You want to recover your loss in a single bet. You'll love the thrill. Then if you lose that round, you'll end up having more losses to recover. You'll try to recover your losses but you'll end up having more losses. Until you realize nothing's left in your bank account so you start to sell your stuffs. If this happens to you, then you are now addicted to gambling.
Gambling addicts are addicted more to the thrill than the money. You can try to deny this all you want, but once you've been hooked, you'll continue on no matter your bankroll unless an external force acts on you [oh, first law of motion!]

Let's suppose that you suddenly received a million dollars and you're a gambler. Let's suppose that your goal was to reach a million dollars through gambling. Okay, you're there. But why does it feel unfulfilling? You want more. Greed drives you senselessly, or so you think. The real allure to gambling is the thrill. Without any loss, there is no more intensity.

Essentially, you're addicted to... losing.

LOL, exactly mate, you hit it, we are addicted to gambling because we are always losing and while we are on that position we always come back to bet more to take back our losses and to be on the profit side. Anyway, gambling is really fun so no matter how much we lose as you as we can afford it they it would fine.

yup, to be honest, a lot of regular gamblers already knew they are going to loss but they still keep going because it is part of their lifestyle already. It is their source of entertainment cause they like the thrill and excitement from gambling.

Or they are already addicted to it and they can't stop it anymore. They cannot control themselves when it comes to.gambling so they just bet even if they know they can lose a lot on their bets. It is just they want the thrill they get from gambling that they will bet even if it means they get broke in the process.
