4481  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Possible Miner Scam on: February 07, 2014, 03:39:53 PM
Thankfully another member of this community sent a message to me and it sounds like he's on the same plan I am.
We've got more information on the owners of the service, but also our information is consistent.

Currently it sounds like they just have very crappy customer service.  I can bear with that if they deliver as promised.
I'm holding off until the 16th when I expect a solid payout.  If they deliver I'll let this community know because honestly
the price/GHz is great.  Just hoping it's not "too good to be true".

It is nice to hear that, let's hope for the best. Contact your bank just to know your options

When you can charge back there is a time limit to do so and it isn't a huge limit
4482  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your darkest secret you don't want anyone to find out? on: February 07, 2014, 03:37:55 PM
I don't have almost any coins, still I am here. Why? Something must be wrong with me.

-It is not such a dark secret  Grin

-Why don't you start buying/winning some?

4484  Economy / Gambling / Re: MakeBTC.org is the best passive BTC income invest on: February 07, 2014, 03:33:59 PM
The makeBTC adds should start appearing on the forum very soon, that will bring a lot of new players, we should pass this bank pretty fast and I bet that most new players will reinvest their incomes into next bank so all the old money that want to withdraw will be replace by new money, let's gamble!
4485  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: will the bitcoin reach $1000 one day...? on: February 07, 2014, 03:31:18 PM
bitcoin has come a long way since the start of this thread.

my prediction is that bitcoin will countinue to have ups and downs but have a gradual increase over time. once people stop mining and all the coins are in circulation that are left to be mined. value will then really start to increase.

In 2013 the price didn't gradualy increase..I do think that mining/BTC price are related but you have to realise that it is not the only factor & it will be a long time before all the coins are mined
Look below his/her name.

Yes indeed but you see a lot of bitcoiners that have been here for a long time that think that the mining difficulty has nothing to do with the price or that it is the only factor in the price discovery; I know for a fact that it is neither of the two
I look at the long term perspective for Bitcoin, the sentiment about the currency/asset and I want to buy at this price which doesn't mean I don't think there could be a correction in 2014 but I am not buying to make a quick buck, I am buying because it is useful to have some bitcoins and because it will feel great to have some when the dollar crashes

I withdrew once and it arrived safe&fast into my wallet account, the website is extremely fun.

You can get a bonus for depositing now it seems like a nice time to enter the scheme, I may deposit again, let's gamble!

Explique moi?

De quel site vous parlez? J'ai du mal à suivre
4488  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: MakeBTC.org Pyramid Scheme on: February 06, 2014, 08:58:03 PM
1.03BTC deposited yesterday and 0.6BTC today at 3PM, I think players are entering before the makeBTC adds are on the forum this weekend

They enjoy the 65%-66% bonus and are in for the ride

I am thinking that it may well be a way to blackmail people

@Acidyo : Can you explain why you asked this question
4491  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: The Bitcoin Shop ! Now You can buy bitcoins with paypal ! on: February 06, 2014, 06:35:02 PM
Good luck with your business

If I may ask, how will you deal with charges back? Will you only accept certain paypal accounts?
4492  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC = $500 in February on: February 06, 2014, 06:33:45 PM
Admit it dude you just want free coins. We all want that => won't happen. Too many people are waiting for $700, I would imagine 10x more wait for $500.
Not going to happen.

All the persons that would buy in a dip and the flow of new buyers will definitely support the price in a dip but you cannot definitely rule out a dip since bad news&bad sentiment against Bitcoin could create a downward trend

I still think there is more upside potential that downside potential in the short run
4493  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mt.Gox SCAM? $38million disappeared. Large sums affected. on: February 06, 2014, 06:19:51 PM
I've got 17btc that I withdrew 5 days ago. They have still not appeared in my wallet...

I just got verified on Mtgox, but with all the stories I hear and all the negativity about the website I don't think I will buy/sell bitcoins there

Can you keep us update on when you receive your BTC?
4494  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your darkest secret you don't want anyone to find out? on: February 06, 2014, 06:16:11 PM
Pretty lazy way to blackmail people.

haha

I don't expect many people to tell their darkest secrets there. As far as I am concerned, I can't even think of one

Try to charge back if you paid with a Credit Card and please keep us update, keep fighting

"Bitcoin is expected to reach $1600 by Q1 of 2014. So far today about 12 Million of the 21 Million bitcoins have been mined.  Given the current difficulty levels of mining bitcoin, you could easily mine 2-3 bitcoins a month. As difficulty increases, so does the value of bitcoins.''

from their "homepage"

The prices seem very reasonable, too bad it is a probably a sca.m

Google seems more inclined to offer support&technology for innovators than Apple, I am using Android and I am probably not coming back to Iphone anytime soon
4498  Economy / Speculation / Re: from bitcoinrus on: February 06, 2014, 04:29:01 PM
hello, i read the messages on the 3rd page
no, losing this money would not put me on the streets.
it is all the money i have right now though.  I saved for literally 4 years.  I remember when I only had 400 in my bank and I literally bought lottery tickets.  I won total of 550-600 (so i made like 150-200 profit)
I then looked online and the odds of winning that 1 and only 500 dollar ticket that put me in profit was very high
the other tickets i won were like a total of 150-200
if it wasnt for that 500 dollar ticket i would have lost half my investment

Being that as it may, I am a risk taker but i saved every penny for 4 years.  If I invest I will try to stick by it
(I have a roof over my head and food in me for the time being) but it is just all the capital I have.  Losing it in bitcoin (if it does die) would disappoint me but it would be an investment with risk like all investments.

I regret buying btc for 988 but then i quickly canceled so i got my funds back.  i was too scared to buy when it was 500 (looking back i should have but that 988 scared me)
now its dropping, i cannot resist if it keeps dropping

What are your objectifs? A quick buck? A solid long-term investment?

You could buy some gold (find a good price), buy a few btc and send them to a paper wallet then don't watch the btc price more than once a week and hide your paper wallet well (but not well enough that you won't be able to access it)-You could also invest on yourself by learning something that will help you professionally or in life

4500  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: will the bitcoin reach $1000 one day...? on: February 05, 2014, 10:29:46 PM
It's all just a crap-shoot. No one can predict the future, the best you can do is diversify your money, and hopefully one investment will take off.

What else are you investing in?
