Roma have been reported to be interested in Andrea Belotti who is still free agent now. However the number of strikers in the team would increase quite a lot then. They have already signed Dybala recently. I don't know if they need another one. When it comes to Belotti he is a decent striker for me. But it is doubtful how much playing time he would have at Roma among all these alternatives. I wonder what kind of plans Mourinho has for him. If he is thinking of him in the lineup directly then they should go for him.

So the Brooklyn Nets is demanding more returns on a KD trade not just because the Utah Jazz and San Antonio Spurs received a lot of pieces from their Rudy Gobert and Dejounte Murray trades but because it is still hoping to keep Durant. But I don't think KD will want to stay in Brooklyn with Irving and Simmons. Brooklyn should prioritize trading these 2 drama queens and maybe KD will want to stay with them.
It can be seen as normal for Nets to wait for a big benefit if they will trade Kevin Durant to a team. He is their most valuable player in the end. When it comes to Irving and Simmons, Irving is already willing to leave actually so it is up to the choice of the team whether to take action about it. It hasn't been much time since Simmons joined the team so I don't think that they will re-trade him now. Him and Seth Curry would stay for at least one more season imo. |

Newcastle are seriously interested in signing James Maddison now. Leicester have a price tag for him like at least 50 million pounds. Newcastle's last offer for him was 40 million pounds and Leicester turned it down as a result. Newcastle shouldn't give up on signing him of course as the gap is not too big for them now. They have a huge amount of money to spend and Maddison is one of the really good players who are worth it. Leicester are trying to keep him by offering a contract extension on one hand.

It is like there is nearly no very tough game in the league for this season as well. There are only few teams that can make difficulties for PSG when they play a home game especially. These teams might be considered like Monaco, Marseille and Nice the most for me. We don't know how this trio will start as well but I'm expecting them to be as much competitive as they were in the previous season at least. PSG would make a solid start by defeating Clermont comfortably.

It is claimed that Juventus are targeting the old Napoli striker Dries Mertens as well. He is still free agent and it would be too easy for them to sign him. However I don't think that he should be among their top targets. Because he is already 35 years old and I don't think that he will show a very impressive performance. He should be like a backup plan for Juventus in case they fail in signing strikers like Morata and Werner. It is important what they think of doing with a new transfer too. If they are thinking of him in the starting eleven then Mertens should definitely stay as the last option.

The season is almost starting. I have checked the games ahead and I have seen that one of the biggest games of the league is going to be played on Week 6 between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid. When it comes to the first week I don't see very tough games for especially Barcelona and Real Madrid. I think they both would start strongly to this season. I'm going to watch especially Lewandowski closely. His adaptation process can even be the most important thing for Barcelona now.

I wouldn't say that Nuno Tavares has a very bright future ahead. He just wasn't liked at Arsenal after seeing his performance and he has been loaned to Marseille now. Arsenal have found the left-back they would like by signing Zinchenko in the end. Marseille still did a good job for themselves of course if they are thinking of sending one of the other left-backs in the team. Amavi was already on loan last season and maybe they can look for a team for him again.

However they want to make a loan move for him which Chelsea would still find appropriate for themselves. On the other hand I wonder what Werner is thinking about all of these teams. Congratulations to Liverpool! That 3-1 victory over Manchester City was a perfect beginning to the season for certain. This game would have ended differently as well if Manchester City were more capable about scoring goals. The league would be much different from this of course. But Liverpool would be more focused at the beginning of the season as they have won a cup already now. We will see which one of these teams will make a better start to the season. I will look forward to seeing Haaland scoring many goals like he was doing at Dortmund.

Q3 was just wonderful and very surprising at the same time. Who would have expected a Mercedes driver to take the pole position or even that driver to be Russell? I'm not underestimating Russell by saying that of course but I mean that I was seeing Hamilton one step ahead normally. Anyway after I saw that Sainz had a great lap and Leclerc messed up, I just said that was it. But Russell had the last word by an amazing lap. It was a nightmare-like session for Verstappen as well because he lost power and finished at the 10th position.

Juventus are still thinking about a move to sign Nicolo Zaniolo but I'm not very positive about Roma to sell him to any team now. It is like the time they need him the most because they would aim to have a better season with Mourinho. Zaniolo is a player who can play a critical role in making this real. Tottenham are also observing his situation from some distance and looking for an opportunity to sign him. I expect none of them to reach their goal at least for this summer.

Erik ten Hag is still eager to keep Anthony Martial in the team even though there is a high interest by Juventus these days. I don't think that Erik ten Hag is planning to give him too many chances in the starting eleven but if he leaves they aren't going to have any substitute player left for Ronaldo in the team. Manchester United had better forget about signing Frenkie de Jong from now on. Because Laporta still seems determined about keeping him in the team this summer. As the season is very close to starting Manchester United should find a midfielder as quick as possible now. They have just made two defender transfers and signed Eriksen, that's all. Pogba's place should be filled in time if they want to have a solid start to the season. I know that they have Eriksen but him and Pogba are completely different kind of players.

As long as PSG don't find a better alternative yeah they need Neymar for sure. They were after Bernardo Silva and wanted to swap him with Neymar too. But Manchester City weren't eager about such deal as it was meaningless for them. PSG just need to be hopeful about Neymar not to get injured for a long time. He is injury prone and this isn't good for the team at all. They are targeting the Champions League title in the end. They need every single one of their stars.

Benjamin Pavard is a really great player in terms of being able to play in various positions in defense. He is mainly a right-back of course but can be used as a centre-back as the second option too. He can even play in the left back position when he is needed. Now he seems eager to join Chelsea as well. As Chelsea might lose Azpilicueta they can sign Pavard to fill the place. Maybe this can even help them drop their search of a centre-back as well because as I said Pavard can play there too.

Hamilton has struggled in free practice sessions so far but we will see what he will do in qualifying session. Practice sessions still give us a little idea about what can happen at least. Ferrari and Red Bull are very quick as always. Norris have been making me surprised so far by his solid effort in both sessions. Ricciardo also did well so I wonder if McLarens will manage to have a decent success in this Grand Prix. Things haven't gone just as they expected for them so far and they would make use of some good amount of points here.

Bernd Leno, Pablo Mari and Hector Bellerin are expected to leave Arsenal this summer. I can understand Mari and Bellerin. Mari can't find chances here and Bellerin was loaned to Betis last season which shows that they don't think of opening space for him in the lineup as well. However I still would expect Leno to stay. Because as I said before maybe he is the second goalkeeper of the team but he is still very useful when Ramsdale can't play. But if he really wants to leave Arsenal wouldn't block his way.

This is a problem to solve for Chelsea, agreed. If they can't hold their important players in their hand then they would lose quite much strength before the start of the season. Azpilicueta and Alonso transfers might not happen by the way because Chelsea are angry with Barcelona for intervening their Kounde deal and nearly completing the signing as well. They might have revenge on them by not selling these two players. Losing Werner and Pulisic both won't be good for them unless they find replacements. |

Milan and Roma are in a competition to sign Manchester United defender Eric Bailly now. The Red Devils don't give much chance to him in their starting eleven. Considering this fact I think that it wouldn't be too difficult for one of these Italian teams to sign him. His market value is 6 million euros now and I don't have big expectations from Manchester United's asking price as well. Bailly is still a skilled defender so it would be a really good transfer for Milan and Roma both.
