It sounds like BlackHat is trying to have a dual booting machine. That should be okay, isn't it? If Windows is already installed on the machine then the bootloader that comes with Ubuntu should be able to detect it. There should be an option to boot either to Windows 7 or Ubuntu after that. It might be different if you're starting with Ubuntu and then Windows. From my experience, the Windows bootloader will not detect the Ubuntu OS and you have to fix it by repairing the GRUB bootloader.

However most HW does not support importing a private key. If your HW does not support WIF import, you could export the private key to another wallet like Electrum first, and then sweep the balance to your new address.

Before you decide to drop MetaMask off, maybe try to find out how the heck you got hacked. It doesn't matter which wallet you use if you got phished or there's a keylogger waiting for you to copy-paste your seed. It will end up the same, your funds will be gone. Metamask is generally safe as long as you're doing proper security practice. Been using it since 2017 and my funds are never lost.

Nah itu. Ane juga merasa kalau kebutuhannya mengharuskan bisa sign message dari address tertentu, beli wallet yang mahal kok kayak wasteful. Beda kasusnya kalau emang mau nyari hardware baru karena yang lama rusak atau gimana". Terlebih dari desain Ellipal (misalnya) sendiri lebih mencolok daripada sekedar FB yang diinstall live OS. Apalagi kalau FDnya buluk, paling dikira isinya kopian musik dangdut daripada duit.

Kalau ini kayaknya perlu ditanyakan ke CS Ellipal sendiri, hanya saja dugaan ane sih tidak ada fitur tersebut. Mungkin bisa diakali kalau Ellipal bisa dikonekin ke wallet lain kayak Electrum, tapi kok sepertinya sih tidak bisa.

Last time I checked, they would give you a notice on how pools work before you proceed to pool your tokens. And, you should not be able to pool your ETH without another pair. Did you create a new pair instead? Maybe you're doing something else without even realizing it. Saya rasa ini yang jadi masalah kalau pake satoship, karena tidak terlalu fleksibel sebab harus ada card reader. Kalau saya sih bakal nunggu sampai mereka support NFC, tapi ya balik ke usernya sih.

I'm not following the whole process of minting the tokens but shouldn't there a process where the user that wants to mint WBTC have to send some bitcoins to some address? If that doesn't exist then the whole pegged token is dubious. If that process is indeed present, then I don't see why this this tokenization must be slower than the number of mined bitcoin per day. After all, anyone can just buy from the market, lock it and then get the pegged version in return.
