First, you have to determine what is your purpose? Then come up with a specific question for us to help you, or you can also find them on Google
Best regards

You didn't read the previous comments, didn't you? The OP is a typical spammers and you are doing the same.

READ THE PREVIOUS COMMENTS BEFORE ANSWRING OR POSTING SOMETHING.

To the Mods, please lock this topic and move it to Archive, I want to keep track on those posters.

I have doubts that the OP was copied from a precious posts which were deleted.

Too many "greenhorns" lately.

4503  Other / Meta / Re: Solve Captcha before posting in a topic? on: June 19, 2018, 02:15:31 PM
I have suggested this some time ago but it did't had much impact here, mostly complains, but still..
you can find my suggestion here :
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3781829.msg37193228#msg37193228

That's because captcha doesn't stop bots but it does inconvenience real users. Faucets use them as it imposes a cost that makes it less profitable to bot. For spambots here I don't think ~$0.001 per post would deter them.

Yeah, I know but there should be another solution, there are some good alternatives to reCaptcha as well. Idk what theymos is planing for the new forum software but there should be some kind of a solution to this problem. Reporting the single accounts is just, as we say, " a small drop into the ocean". There should be a general solution with the minimum impact to the regular users, I know it's difficult...

First of all, look at the posts in the novice area to learn more about this. You will find that many of them need to know and are very helpful.

Why would you even bother replying, it's just another spammer spreading his shit around. Just waiting for ban...

4507  Other / Meta / Re: Captcha on: June 18, 2018, 09:54:42 PM
A "normal" internet connection shouldn't have much problems with it, reCAPTCHA is terrible when you use Tor. I've basically giving up trying to access sites with reCAPTCHA through Tor. It can take up to 10 minutes, and you'll still end up with a time out after clicking many captchas that load very slow.

I have to solve reCAPTCHA challenges via Tor all the time, and while it definitely takes longer than normal, I can still do it within a couple of minutes 95% of the time. Sometimes reCAPTCHA will totally block an IP address, or put an IP address onto a near-impossible level of difficulty, but it's rare, and the solution to that is to just get a different Tor exit.

Will this change with the new software a lot of people using tor now? Shall we still use reCaptcha or maybe an alternative?

I gave up using tor some time ago, as I couldn't log for more than half an hour trying, and then read the comments about the problem.

I'll give it a try again with a different exit, as I get back from vacation Smiley

Every now and then, some "greenhorn" shows up, with the same bullshit. I think I should start "collecting" all those posts for future reference.
4509  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie on: June 18, 2018, 04:29:33 AM
Hello everyone! I'm a greenhorn and would like to learn more about cryptocurrency. Hoping to meet and learn from you all!

Interesting, I've seen the exact sentence a few times before, did you copy this??
4510  Other / Archival / Re: My journey on bitcointalk. From newbie 0 merit to 260 merits on: June 18, 2018, 04:18:05 AM
Hunting for merit is not always bad. While doing so many have created wonderful post and learned quite a lot making the research, of course not so many are here to read and learn, most of them are for the easy money.

Keep enriching the forum with valuable information, the more popular the crypto currencies are the better.
4511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will Mt Gox unload their coins? on: June 17, 2018, 05:32:39 AM
Mt Gox coins is the new Tether news.
when price was rising, each 10% rise you heard that it is rising because they created new batch of USDT and released it on the market and THAT is increasing the price (pure FUD of course). then when price started falling and USDT continued being created, all the tether drama was swept under the rug and nobody is talking about it anymore!
now that price has been going down, on every turn you hear how Mt Gox either sold coins or is about to do so. and it had never have anything to do with the drop at all...

will they sell again? nobody knows. we don't even know if all the previous ones were sales! we just saw the coins move. it might as well be to a new address in their cold storage instead of to an exchange to sell. or even if it is sells it may not even be all on the exchanges it may be off the market which doesn't affect anything!

This is a bit scary, you have a decentralized system but the price is controlled by few big exchanges.
4512  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Stuck at member rank on: June 17, 2018, 05:11:00 AM
Unfortunately, in the signature of every single post above, is the reason why ranking up will continue to be a struggle. Nothing
against you, or the previous posters, but the Merit system truly does make it harder for shite posters to use this forum,  solely
for the purpose of making a buck.

Not really unfortunate.  I'm all for shit posting and arguing, but shit post your true opinion with basis.  Not your opinion, because it's tied to your investment with zero basis.  I don't really care what level in the forum I hold.  It has no correlation to my portfolio value  Grin Grin Grin

If you don't care about the ranks, don't worry, the merit will come, just wait and don't pay attention to it. Avoid posting in spammy megathreads and all be good Wink
4513  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: One (1) Merit point to Rank-up Service, READ THE RULES BEFORE YOU APPLY!! on: June 17, 2018, 05:06:11 AM
I would like to help some Jr member for rank up. Almost 19 members I can help. I want to be part of your thread and I want help directly. So I can help more people. You can add my link on your thread only for Jr member.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4461881.0

No problem, I have already sent one to try his luck with you. I'll add your service to my OP as an alternative Wink
4514  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: One (1) Merit point to Rank-up Service, READ THE RULES BEFORE YOU APPLY!! on: June 16, 2018, 07:03:32 PM
My rank is: Jr.Member
The merit I need to rank-up: 1
Sorry man, you qualify for the service, but as I discussed it with the other sponsors, your post quality seems low and the last 3 pages of your post history is just bounty reports and comments on spam mega-threads.
Try your luck there : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4461881.0

My rank is: Member

The merit I need to rank-up: 1

Checking my post history, don't think I am a Altcoin Discussion spammer  Grin I post a lot in Altcoin Discussion to help newbies in retrieving their coins from old wallets, solving solidity errors they encounter and a lot more. It's quite hard to find a good topic as it is present in the 20th-30th page.  Members who are good in Tech never visit Altcoin Discussion as it is full of spams and they stick only with Technical Discussion section. If theymos implements a board like Altcoin Tech Support it would be really helpful for people who are seeking a reply there.

Seem like you are a Full Member now, congrats. I've bumped into you posts before I even think I've given you merit too some time ago, good luck as a Full member Wink
4515  Other / Meta / Re: Another Trash, trashing the forum. on: June 16, 2018, 04:38:57 PM
I tried to lock this topic and report him/her to the moderator, but I think it's not enough to report him because he/she still continues the spam he/she's making.

I'm just concern with the forum and the community and in my understanding you're not able to copy paste post to different threads and sections unless if it was translated because it will result as a spam.

It takes time to get reaction on the case. Keep in mind that every day the Mods have to deal with hundreds of reports. Sometimes it takes a few days to see some actions.

As Welsh said, no need to open a thread for every rule-breaker. If you really want to report it you can find many threads for different rule-breakers.
4516  Other / Meta / Re: How to delete a poll? on: June 15, 2018, 05:28:11 PM
Yeah, I was thinking of this solution too, but I thought maybe that should be a way to remove it completely.
4517  Other / Meta / How to delete a poll? on: June 15, 2018, 01:04:40 PM
By mistake I created a poll on a wrong thread, I saw it just after I click "save".
Is there a way to remove the poll from the wrong thread.
I found some old posts like this but no help there .. and I don't like necrobumping Wink

4518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How bitcoin can be the "money" in your daily life? on: June 15, 2018, 12:05:12 AM
I'm locking this thread to avoid  becoming a mega-thread.
Thanks for your contribution.

F please, great raffle, as usual.
Thank you Krogo Smiley
4520  Other / Meta / Re: Can we get rid of at least half the threads appearing on the newbie board please on: June 14, 2018, 09:15:24 AM
In addition most ot them are just copies of other similar threads in different sections.
