Daniel91, this is the first time I’ve seen that the final will be moved from Istanbul, that’s a real shame for them. I suppose no fans would be present though so the benefits of lots of tourists (fans) spending money there wouldn’t have been present.
Even if the final would happen to Istanbul no fans would be present. It is better to move the final to a different country as turkey has a lot of infections from coronavirus. They don't worry about fans now. I feel that UEFA is very desperate at the moment and just wants to somehow finish CL competition this season. It's all about money, of course 😁

Quique Setien seems to have been just Barcelona’s second choice for a new coach in January ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) The first choice was Ronald Koeman but he decided to remain the coach of the Dutch national team and lead them to the euro. However, Ronald Koeman confirmed that his dream is to one day become the coach of Barcelona and left that possibility open. Do you think Ronald Koeman could be Barcelona’s next coach? Source: https://www.marca.com/en/football/barcelona/2020/06/06/5edbbf89ca4741e90e8b45d1.htmlKoeman, hmmm he hasn’t been manager of a big club recently & there isn’t many bigger than Barca. Maybe tgey should move for Pochettino, he plays progressive football with modern tactics. Actually in the past Barcelona was well known as a club that brave enough to hire a coach with not so much experience before, and the results were amazing. E.g. Rijkaard, Vilanova, Enrique, and ofc Pep. I wouldn't be surprised if Pimienta as Barcelona B coach gets promoted to senior level. Most of the time I have watched, Barcelona always likes to take a little risk and most of the time they achieve success with confidence. I think the reason behind of their success is only of hard work and their strong morale. so, I think it's no matter, who the coach is! if he works hard for his trainee, we will definitely see Barcelona's improvement. Barcelona is also one of the most famous club in the world and everybody wants to play in Barcelona 😁 They don't have problem to bring any player and financially they are very strong. So, it's natural that Barcelona always wants to win and to collect titles. Of course, it's very difficult to be coach in Barcelona because demands and goals are very high.

Now the German magazine Bild has also confirmed that the final of the European Champions League will be played in Lisbon. In addition to Lisbon, Frankfurt and Moscow also applied for the hosts but their applications were rejected due to the large number of coronavirus patients. Istanbul canceled this final tournament due to financial problems. According to Bild, UEFA has already selected Portugal and Lisbon, although a formal meeting on the subject will not be held until June 17. The main reasons for this decision, apart from the good situation with the corona virus, are that there are no more Portuguese clubs in the competition, suitable football facilities and a sufficient number of available stadiums that must be located within a radius of 100 km due to the large number of matches that must be played in a short time. It looks like Frankfurt will receive a consolation prize, organizing the Europa League final. Newbies should have a chance to earn a merit even if it's only 1 merit which will only be used as an inspiration for newbies to create more useful threads. It is not good to spoonfeed the newbies but it is also not good not to help newbies when they are still starting as of now then maybe one day they will be the one who will help you.
I agree with you and I'm always happy to help young members but still they also have to meet some minimum requirement or standard for me to be able to give them merit. Merit should be a reward for quality, information, effort, community help etc.

I have very good experience with Paypal refund. They have very strict policy about any scam and if you can prove to them that you didn't get the product or service you paid for, (with Paypal) you'll get a refund from them. Several times I had to run a dispute on paypal and every time I received a refund, even when the opposing side avoided the answer. Scammers know this well and unfortunately use tricks to avoid refunds. There is of course another option if you mistakenly close the dispute to Paypal and you paid by credit card via Paypal. You can ask chargeback in your bank.

![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Personally, I think we need more merit source from local parts of the forum and that is why I generally support such applications. We have a lot of local members who do not understand English well and write mostly in their local sections on the forum. Without a local merit source, who understands the language, they have no chance of getting merit. Clearly, I don’t understand your language so I can’t judge the quality of the posts you gave merit for.

I wonder who will decide if I have to choose a new source of merit? I have read through the criteria to apply as a source of merit, but who will decide to choose one of them ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) I am quite vague about it Judging by the "we" that theymos uses, its quite likely that Cyrus, and theymos decide on who is made a merit source. That at least would be my assumption. Alternatively, global moderators might be pitching it, but I would say the most likely is theymos, and then cyrus. Especially, since they're likely the only ones with access to important statistics of users such as logged in time, time spent within sections, and amount of posts read in particular sections. I imagine they use either the data I've listed or some sort of data along with checking merit distribution, and the "quality" of the merit distribution. Thank you for this answer, it's more clear now ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I guess that reputation on the forum is also important fact and probably theymos and Cyrus read carefully reactions of other members.

I wonder if it is possible to send Bitcoins from a legacy address (1 ...) to a Segwit address (b2 ...) and vice versa?
Yes, it is. You can send to a native SegWit address (bc1...) as long as your wallet supports sending to such addresses (which most popular wallets do). Any service can receive from native SegWit addresses. I can confirm it. I already sent bitcoin funds from a legacy address to a segwit and vice versa many times. No problem here.

Great speech by a young tennis player: ''I want change'' https://twitter.com/emsulliv/status/1268312204329222144Young tennis star Coco Gauff made a notable public appearance and gave her review of the unfortunate murder of George Floyd. She showed her character both on and off the tennis court. Well done girl, you could have kept your mouth shut but you chose to use your fame to push for the real thing. Great speech and attitude from this young fellow we need this spirit in our next generation for better and safe future of this world hopefully we have something good from them. I hope other tennis players will do the same. They are not separate from society and normal life and should lead by example. Hope to see Serena and Venus Williams in the similar action soon.

But could you elaborate for what exactly Barca rivals could sue them?
Don't you think it's a serious issue, if a friend of your kid get infected with some disease, but his parents hide it from you? But that's not the case with Barca. Nobody is talking that they were hiding information about infected players. As I understand it happened when season was already stopped and there was no games and training in action, so there was no danger for players and staff of other teams. it probably more fits to Atalanta manager who worked in Champions league gamer against Valencia despite having Covid-19 symptoms. but now I doubt that would be possible to hide such things when there is intensive testing of players and staff in action. Well, we didn't see any official statement about this case from Barcelona or Spanish football Association so it's not transparent enough. We even don't know when this incident happened, maybe all players already was together during training.

If any team hides the players that have coronavirus, that would be a big punishment, not only a big punishment for the team and the front office but also the owners as well. From league ban and minus and lack of competition money and many other stuff, but also champions league and all european as well. Nobody would want to let Barcelona get away with it if they have a trouble like that. But lets be honest they are going to heal until the league starts as well. So at the end of the day we are going to see these people get better and the league will probably not face any troubles. And the masks are smart business decision, masks are needed anyway no matter how, as long as they are not doing anything illegal, I do not see it any different than selling jersey.
Someone mentioned before that because of GDPR regulation clubs or authorities can't publish names of the players with corona virus. I can accept it but still they should be transparent and say how many players are infected. There is no reason to hide such general info. Ok, eventually all players will probably recover but how can we be sure that even now we don't haveplayers with corona virus? Such info we should find on the official club site, not on some unknown online portals.

As a beginner sometimes I'm afraid to write a post, because I know that you will not take me seriously because of the small number of posts. But now I saw our answers and it gives confidence really.
You don't be afraid to write a post. Even if you don't understand something still you can ask questions and others will help you. Recently in our local board one newbie joined. He is company owner, working with crypto and have more experience and knowledge than many old members here 😁 In my opinion, respect and good attitude is more important here than experience and knowledge. If you invest time and effort eventually you will have enough experience and knowledge about crypto but respect and good attitude you can't learn.

Then follow high ranked user what they do.
This really isn't necessary at all. Constructively conversing and not spamming and just following the rules in general will suffice. A user being high ranked doesn't automatically mean that he/she is a good role-model here in the forum. Even with the merit system working well, there are still high-ranked accounts from the pre-merit system era that are low-key spamming. In fact, we have good and bad high ranked members but also good and bad newbies. Don't forget that some newbie have more experience and knowledge than many old members here in the forum. Recently one newbie joined our local board and he is owner of crypto company so we already learned a lot from him. Forum ranks are no so much important but attitude, respect, experience and knowledge.

Thank you fiulpro for hosting this thread for low ranked members like me. Also thanks Daniel91 for your extra merit. I feel motivated a lot by you guys.

what are merits anyway? to boost my profile?
Merits and activity are conditions if you want to advance in the forum, achieve higher rank. If forum rank is not important for you than you don't need to worry.
