4521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is now stronger than ever. on: July 22, 2016, 09:42:25 AM
I I still had some ETH, I'd be happy for the price rise, but as it stands now, I'm very glad that I don't.
Reversible transactions, give me a break, don't have any words for that...

I also think that Satoshi's views were right, by making transactions irreversible.
4522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal & Bitcoin on: July 22, 2016, 09:38:45 AM
PayPal don't want to watch the Bitcoin revolution from the sidelines it's going to be undoubtedly a huge market in the future so they would like to start implementing Bitcoin technology sooner than later into their business. By the way Paypal accept Bitcoin payments through their Merchant module so sellers could get paid in Bitcoin for their products and services.
We can't say what their plan is but it would be interesting to see how they use bitcoint technology in their existing set up.Promoting bitcoin in any way would be sucidal for them.
I don't agree with that, I think they could perfectly exist side by side, since there are already multiple payment processors and Paypal accepting Bitcoin won't change that.

Plus Bitcoin won't offer consumer protection like Paypal does.
4523  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: PumpTeam.Net - Elite Group of Pumpers on: July 22, 2016, 09:35:52 AM
Good advice, don't trust in public pumping.
Don't be hyped by their overly positive announcement that it is easy and 100% secure profit from trading, because it is coordinated operation.
I have never seen good public pump group. It is always more of a hype and good intentions with more drama involved that you can possibly imagine.
Yeah, I've tried this in the early days but found that it was not worth it in the end. Plus I think it's also a bit dishonest to be completely fair.
4524  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: July 22, 2016, 09:27:09 AM
investment is one of the best ways of reaching an steady income. but you need to be extra careful where you invest. if you can actually find something profitable to invest in, then you can make a good amount of money steadily.

for example this investment can be in your own business that you start and by expanding it you make an steady income over time.
Having your own business is the best way cause you will never be scam rather than just trusting your money online. However, you need to raise a decent capital to sustain your plan and if you have not steady income yet then working online is the best way to start earning.

I also believe that having your own business is the key to have a steady income. But before engaging into any kind of business, make sure that you know your business and it is your passion because you will not be able to sustain it if you don't like it in the first place.
Agree with this, because unlike working a steady job, you have virtually no maximum amount of money that you can make.
I don't agree with having to start a business revolving around your passion, just do it around something that will make you money, you can always get passionate about new stuff, I'd argue.
4525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchains Really Need a Better Database...So We Built One on: July 22, 2016, 09:23:32 AM
Why is this a thing? Care to explain, in layman's terms, for us non technical users?
Is it just that it is more efficient to do it this way? And what are the chances of this being used over the current database?
4526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal receiving Bitcoin?! on: July 22, 2016, 09:17:53 AM
my experience with paypal is not trustworthy. long time transactions. sometimes not even complete.
WHat do you even mean by that? I've never had transaction 'not complete' with Paypal, though this may be different for merchants.
I quite like Paypal, just easy to use and haven't had any issues with it.

But I have heard some horror stories of merchants' funds being locked etc.
4527  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimum Amount To Start Trading? on: July 22, 2016, 09:13:40 AM
I think 0.5 is a good start and i think you can make a large profit with that amount .. local bitcoins is one of the market that you can sell your bitcoins person to person..
You can also use it for altcoin to trade. to make more profit..
This is pretty good advice, maybe it's better to focus on certain altcoins instead of starting to trade Bitcoins since you might have a bit less competition that way.
Anyway it's good to start with a low amount.
4528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Gambling is Fun? on: July 22, 2016, 09:07:48 AM
Why everyone is using the Word of Fun for only gambling, if gambling is a game, so all games are interesting and entertainment, not funny, Gambling is not a drama or play, it is a real and mind blowing game.
For me, nothing is funny in gambling.
What do you think of FUN in gambling?
Topic makes no sense to me, might not be entirely the same as other topics with similar titles, but what does it matter?
What is there even to say about this subject besides endless amounts of nonsense.

Also isn't entertainment equal to fun?
4529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: July 22, 2016, 09:03:31 AM
The fact the the people who are addicted to gambling think that they can win again that is what keeps making them come back.
People who think that need to know should stop it.
It's hard for an addicted gambler to stop coming back to gambling at his own will. Even after knowing about how gambling will ruin his life, many gamblers keep on coming back because of their severe addictions which leads them unable to stop gambling even they prefer to do so.
Other than addictions, the young gamblers keep on coming back to lose their money in gambling just due to the fact of greediness. They are simply believing into gambling to get their life's fortune. Even they  get losses in their first few attempts, they just come back to recover their losses and to continue their journey towards the goal of making big fortunes of life time.
That is true, young gamblers are very aggressive in gambling as they think they can win in gambling, and base on my analysis they are the one who are easily addicted in gambling because they have a lot of time to experiment and try it in actual practice.
Being aggressive and addiction go hand in hand, I would say. It's actually pretty sad to see young people almost lose their lives over gambling addiction.
But then again, some people are just more prone to addiction than others.
4530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Is it worth it? on: July 22, 2016, 09:00:53 AM
Running bitcoin core on slaves vps? I have a 32gb dedicated with very good spec's is it worth it?
It's not worth is in my opinion, some would argue that it is good for the network, but you don't get anything in return for it.
And it's not like there aren't enough people already running core (unless there is someone who can dispute this).

I'm just saying that there are people who are far better equipped to be doing this.
4531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it legal to earn and hold bitcoin ? on: July 22, 2016, 08:55:42 AM
As i am from country where bitcoin is stated to be a illegal currency so, its ok to earn form small services and signature campaign here and hold my bitcoins ?
I need some suggestions ?
I love bitcoin and i can't leave it !

Where you from?
I don't think bitcoin is illegal currency, may be your government not accept it and your country not use the bitcoin in official lever. So it don't mean that you say that bitcoin is illegal currency.
It is online currency, and most of the countries not accept it but instead of this people are using the bitcoin and invest in it.

He's not saying bitcoin is illegal generally. he's talking only about his country. you may don't know but some countries, govt and banks don't like bitcoin much and want that bitcoin should not be used in their county and their peoples.
so OP's simply mean that bitcoin is illegal in his country. but I think OP can still use bitcoin because govt can't really control bitcoin. and can't stop you to use bitcoin.
Don't try and reason with these people, just report their posts. They're just trying to increase their post count for their signature campaigns by answering bullshit without even reading the first post.

In OP's case, I would just take the necessary precautions to make sure that your ISP can't see that you're involved with Bitcoin.
Use a VPN to be on the safe side and if you want to 'withdraw' your Bitcoins, just do it via a Bitcoin debit card.
4532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever paid more than $700/BTC for any amount of Bitcoin? on: July 20, 2016, 06:20:19 PM
The highest I ever paid was ~$510/BTC for about a third of a big one.
Bitcoin is supposed to be for everyone, not just the wealthy, so are you comfortable spending $50 (for example) for less than 0.1btc?

Have you ever paid more than $700/BTC for any amount of Bitcoin?

Yep, I bought all the way up to $1200 in 2013, and then continued to buy all the way back down to $200 by January 2015, and then continued to buy all the way back up to $760 this month.

Bitcoin has a lot of potential and in the long term any price you see now is a good price.

Of course, I'm typically only buying small amounts, and I'm generally using bitcoin all along as well, so the total amount of bitcoin that I have hasn't increased much over the years.  I've got an amount that I can feel comfortable with if this whole experiment collapses one day, but enough that I'll be quite happy if it lives up to the potential I see for the future.
Yeah, same with me, I never stopped buying (small amounts), even when Bitcoins were worth over $1000.
In those days it was usually for making small purchases on the forums, since I had just sold the majority of my coins for a very good price.
4533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do u know someone who owns 1000 Bitcoin or more? on: July 20, 2016, 06:17:49 PM
I don't know anyone personally who owns that amount of Bitcoins, but I do know some people online who do.
Like other people have said before, pretty much every large casino has an amount equal or larger than that.
4534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The higher roller . on: July 15, 2016, 12:37:04 PM
I would need to see some data on the subject to come to a conclusion.
But I would guess that Bitcoin gambling is still way less popular than traditional gambling in casino's, thus there being less high rollers in online Bitcoin gambling.
I agree, bitcoin gambling is probably taking less than 1% of all wagered amount among traditional and online gambling. That's why high rollers are not so common in bitcoin gambling space.
On top of that, it's much easier to identify high rollers that gamble with Bitcoin on dice sites, because they usually show their stats on the website.
This is not the case with physical casino's, people could be spending hundreds of millions of dollars and people would just not know about it.
4535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to talk about BTC for friend or Family ?? Have a problem for understand this on: July 15, 2016, 12:08:05 PM
I think it's best to just show them a video to explain what Bitcoin really is and try to find one from a source that they might have heard about.
I've found this video from The Guardian that does a pretty good job.

4536  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much does selling an account cost? on: July 15, 2016, 11:42:33 AM
Like the guy above me said, I would not recommend buying an account. While it's not against the rules to do so, it is frowned upon by the more reputable members of this forum.
It's possible that they find out that the account you own was bought and you could get negative trust for that and be unable to join any signature campaigns.
4537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the longest you have gone without checking the price of Bitcoin online? on: July 15, 2016, 11:39:44 AM
Sometimes I don't chack the price for a few weeks and then I'll be surprised if the price has risen with a few $100.
Bit these days, I'll check more often because of the high volatility.
4538  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why YOBIT allow to buy dead coins ? on: July 15, 2016, 11:38:04 AM
I am active trader on yobit. Since i am using YOBIT had a good experience.

But I am not satisfied with service offered by yobit about dead coins. As Today I already have bought such a dead coins which I even cannot sell.
What to do with such a dead coins ?

I really sorry about that. Before investing in an altcoin, study the charts carefully and if you decide to buy, do not hold for too long either. One can't tell what will happen tomorrow.
While what you are saying is true, I also think it's good practise of the exchange in question to remove dead coins in time.
Or at least start by not adding so many coins that are doomed to fail from the start.
4539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regret and depression on: July 15, 2016, 11:35:49 AM
Ahh so he is the guy who bought the world's most expensive pizza  Grin
Guy must be so  mad he paid millions of dollars on a mediocre dominos pizza. I hope it was good...
The guy who sold him the pizza must be pretty happy.
Missed my boat on btc as well...

That pizza could have been one of the triggers for bitcoin's rise.
You need to have real life transactions before you can call your collectibles as currency.
For all you know, if he hadn't bought that pizza bitcoin's price trajectory might have been totally different.  Smiley
It only got a lot of media attention after the sudden price rise, thus making the pizza so expensive, after Bitcoin value had risen.
Point being, there would be another purchase if the pizza thing didn't happen, don't think that changed anything.

And to OP:
It's silly to have regret, you can spend your whole life feeling sorry for yourself that you didn't get into Bitcoin sooner, or you can focus on earning more instead of that.
4540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of the world is MULTIPLE crypto currencies not just BTC on: July 15, 2016, 11:31:28 AM
This is already happening, but the market is just so diluted with so many crappy altcoins that it's harder for a certain altcoin to gain enough momentum.
ETH was doing pretty good until it got exploited, another altcoin will probably rise above the others, but I do not see one rising up to half the value of Bitcoin any time soon.
