Adding these tools below do you know Grammarly has its own plagiarism tool?

Here's the link https://www.grammarly.com/plagiarism-checker

And for the best tool for plagiarism, you can use this https://www.copyscape.com/
Copyscape is the best for me for checking and find plagiarism but you can only able to check the text if you have a premium account but you can use it free by pasting the URL.

Not all tools for checking plagiarism are not giving you the accurate result you still need to manually check them because some of the spun tools out there are very smart and it spins content looks original not copy-pasted content.

For the IP there is no tool to track them except for this forum I don't know mods has access to our IPs here but you can able to check your own IP through this https://bitcointalk.org/myips.php
But you can't use it to detect someone's IP here on the forum.
4522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Can't decrypt the wallet on: October 07, 2021, 11:59:08 PM
I'm pretty sure that I didn't set a password because also I don't want to remember or write anything. I thought letting the software and powering off will freeze the wallet. My friend has told me not to save the seed on any place expect the laptop to secure the crypto and I was pretty sure nothing will hurm the laptop or the ssd.

What is wallet.dat? I couldn't find through Google

I searched on bitcoin core folder and couldn't find that file.

Are you talking about a seed phrase? Bitcoin core does not have this feature to generate it only generates a wallet.dat and addresses and private keys. So do you have a seed phrase?

Does it seem it's not a Bitcoin core wallet?

Mostly you can find the wallet.dat file on %APPDATA%\Bitcoin on Windows OS

If it's not a bitcoin core then you might be talking about Electrum? You must clarify this if what wallet you are actually using.
4523  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hosting with option pay by cryptocurrency without thirdparty service like Bitpay on: October 07, 2021, 11:46:12 PM
Most of the web hosting sites are offered the BTC option as payment but I think you don't need to use bitpay wallet just to buy a hosting package.

Anyway, I would like to share this one it's been here for a very long time and they do accept BTC and BCH without 3rd party.

Here is the hosting site https://www.steadyturtle.com/
4524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Can't decrypt the wallet on: October 07, 2021, 04:45:27 PM
If you are sure that you didn't put a password when the first time you created the wallet then I think there are reasons why that wallet is asking for a password.
You might be generated a new wallet before but with a password and you just totally forgot it(Sometimes happen to me even I know that I didn't put a password.) or try to check and maybe you have two wallet.dat file on Bitcoin folder..

Or possible the password is not from the Bitcoin core?

Are you sure that you forgot the password? If it doesn't have a password or it's not encrypted you can able to open the wallet.dat file directly with notepad. So try to look for your wallet.dat file and open it with a notepad. If it's not encrypted you should see your addresses and private keys.

4525  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Public key prefix on: October 07, 2021, 03:11:39 PM
If you are talking about public key then the prefixes start with "1" and "3" for legacy wallet then bc1 for segwit there is also segwit that start with "3".

If you are looking for more prefixes related to bitcoin you can check this https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/List_of_address_prefixes

The post below is right but if you are looking for public key prefixes I think a public key that start with xPub is what you looking for or a public key in a hex that start with 0?

Can you try to use this tool https://iancoleman.io/bip39/ and generate a sample mnemonic and it will show all address and keys as your reference because we don't have a list of prefixes for public key.
4526  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: I think PSU t17+ apw9+ is dead can you help me for diag? and where to buy apw9+? on: October 07, 2021, 01:21:30 PM
Would you mind sharing the kernel logs?
You can find it under system then kernel logs copy them all and paste it here with "insert code" with the icon # or if you have a limit here you can use this https://pastebin.com/ then paste the URL here and maybe we can see the issue there why the fan is running slow.

If you are looking for another shop where to buy PSU I know one site that can be trusted. Here's the link https://www.zeusbtc.com/ASIC-Miner-Repair/
And it seems they have still stocks of APW9+.
4527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Electrum watchonly wallet from cold card issue on: October 06, 2021, 07:05:09 PM
So either i figure out how to change the derivation path by either of those routes or is it possible to load the skeleton on the app off of the sdcard??

This is just my idea and it might work to find the right address on your phone.

- Can you try to "Dump Summary" to generate public.txt and look for "## Top-level, 'master' extended public key ('m/)" You can see xpub below/next to it.
- Copy it and paste it to https://iancoleman.io/bip39/ under BIP32 root key. (Take note for privacy concerns you should download the page and run it offline)
- And then scroll down under derivation path click BIP32 then under client choose custom derivation path
- Put the derivation path of your wallet you can find the right derivation path from your Electrum desktop where you generated the wallet under wallet information.
- Then after you put the right derivation path copy the "BIP32 Extended Public Key" and import it to your phone.

Let see if it will show the right wallet. I don't know if this method will work on segwit wallet but you can try and update it here.

I got the idea from this method below
- https://support.keys.casa/hc/en-us/articles/360045430991-How-to-Check-the-Coldcard-Ypub
4528  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Automatical payments on: October 06, 2021, 05:36:25 PM
It would be hard if you don't have knowledge about programming.

I agree with the above post you would need to hire a professional to build it for you. And another suggestion is to buy a ready-made exchange script. A script that you can able to redesign and modify things from the back end like adding payments codecanyon.net is your best friend if you are looking for an exchange script.

Sample this one "ultimate P2P crypto exchange"
4529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: About p2sh addresses? on: October 06, 2021, 03:55:39 PM
I tried many ways to check addresses that start with 3 if it's segwit or not but I couldn't find any tool that can check the address if it's segwit or not.

Except to those addresses that already have spent transactions.

Like this one

I use blockchair.com to check them to do that you need to check that address on the blockchair and look for a sent under history then click the hash, it should show segwit on the right side of transaction status.

Another alternative is to use https://coinb.in/#verify you must copy the raw/hex code of the sent transaction and paste it there. Then if the segwit shows true under the transaction script it means the address is segwit.
4530  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: New Avalon 1246 miner does not allow me to change mining pool on: October 05, 2021, 03:57:35 PM
I thought that it came from Canaan or an official distributor it seems that the only thing you can do is to find a firmware that reverts it back to stock firmware.
Or let's hope if Canaan will help you with your issue.

Can you try to go again on pool configuration then if you are using google chrome press CTRL+Shift+I it should show the source code or just right-click anywhere on that page then "view page source".

Paste it here with code tag #

And maybe we can find the save button there with hiding code just deleting or changing it might help to show up the button.
4531  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: New Avalon 1246 miner does not allow me to change mining pool on: October 04, 2021, 11:44:05 PM
Is the save button is grey out when you are trying to save the pool? Or it's totally no save button?
You can find it below the "advanced configure"

If it's grey out maybe you need to manually type the pool URL try it to type them manually if it will allow you to save the pool.

There is someone here before with the same issue I think what he did is he flashed it with the firmware provided from their support.

So try to contact the support since your miner is still under warranty you get a response from them and sent a different firmware that is not listed on their download page.
4532  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CoinEx or KuCoin? on: October 04, 2021, 11:27:18 PM
I have experienced with KuCoin but it was last year I used them because some of the ICO sales can be only buy on that exchange. I haven't experienced any issue using them and it seems that they still allow you to withdraw 5BTC to non-KYC verified.

About Coinex I'm currently trading few coins and token-related NFT games on Coinex and the other thing why I used them it's because I mine on ViaBTC which will allow you to automate withdrawal to your Coinex account. I think Coinex is own by ViaBTC based on what I heard before so I guess it's safe to use because it is one of the well-known BTC pools here on the forum.

Their limit for Non-KYC verified is around $10,000 USD in total so it's around 0.2 in BTC and $1m for verified users.

The bad thing is that if you forgot your password and 2FA and if you want to recover your account they will send you 5 questions related to the question they ask before on account creation. Even you answer them well it won't let you reset your old 2FA and password instead they will ask for KYC and a selfie that telling "you want to reset your account". That is just based on my experience a few months ago so don't forget your password and make sure you have a 2FA backup. So that you won't experience what I experienced before.
4533  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: New Avalon 1246 miner does not allow me to change mining pool on: October 04, 2021, 11:02:40 PM
Can you try to change the pool through their app you can download it from here https://canaan.io/service/447 then download the FMS app then set up your miner there?

If it doesn't work try to flash the miner you can download the miner from this link below.

Then try to change the pool again on the dashboard through the browser.
4534  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learn more about trading on: October 04, 2021, 04:12:32 PM
Did you know how to search here on the forum? That's the basic thing you need to learn first because there are lots of similar threads you can find here in this section.
Sample this one "How do I start trading? and Where can I learn trading? if you don't know how to research you will never learn how to trade.

And here one my post on similar thread that I think is what you looking for

Check this channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIEvlRpHBVFthrF6pZzBEXw
And for strategies check this one https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDSBQnqFvO6h3CDCSWkyZCg

And I would like to add this "Awesome Trading tools and guides about TA and FA" and I'm sure this is enough to learn and become a pro in trading.
And if you don't want to lose use the simulator under that GitHub page go to "Trading simulator" and apply what you learn from the course and guides.
4535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: need new wallet on: October 04, 2021, 03:33:25 PM
Be careful don't do this first

If you mean "Bitcoin Qt" when you said "qt", that means you use outdated application. I would recommend you to download newest version at https://bitcoincore.org/en/download/.

I heard that someone before that his old wallet file or wallet.dat become corrupted after upgraded it from oldest Bitcoin-qt to newest bitcoin core.
If you don't want it to happen to you then make sure to make a backup of your wallet file first or much better dump them all into private keys while waiting in your hardware wallet. You can just sweep them once you set up your hardware wallet.

there is a "received with" address starting with 1QC I don't think this really helps though.

So, some progress, any thoughts for next steps?

If you see the received address then you can check it if it still has a BTC balance you can use some explorer like https://blockchair.com and paste the address that starts with 1QC then submit it should show the transaction history and the current balance.
4536  Other / Archival / Re: Anyway to Delete ? on: October 04, 2021, 03:07:43 PM
That's not possible there is no button on your profile that could delete your own account.

What you can only do is to delete your old posts.
Why don't you just leave it and don't use it anymore? Unless if you have another reason why you want to delete it?

My guess is you want to use the username again and you want to clean up all of your negative trust? Well, it's just my guess.

And take note it seems it was discussed here many times "how to delete my account here?" and "Delete bitcointalk account"
4537  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: New to the trade, help needed. on: October 03, 2021, 05:30:15 PM
So, in your opinion, what would be the best budget (Bang for buck) ASIC miner at that price range?

It depends on your Electricity rate if you have a free power source or near 0.02 cents you can start to buy 2nd hand miners.
Start from buying used Antminer s9 and I'm sure there is someone selling it for a cheap price maybe around $200 each.

You can use this tool https://www.mycryptobuddy.com/BitcoinMiningCalculator to calculate your ROI and daily earnings.

For a list of ASIC and profitability, you can check this https://whattomine.com/miners
4538  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S9K custom firmware to overclock on: October 03, 2021, 05:16:02 PM
I dig up here on the forum and search on Google and I couldn't find any overclocked firmware.

There is a custom firmware that I found but it's not overclocked but it can unlock some features like SSH and fan control.
You can find it from here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5253966.0

I found an old thread and it seems that there is overclocked firmware for this unit but you can only have them if you paid the license.
Look at here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5132758.0
4539  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Some reboot with my Avalon 1246 on: October 03, 2021, 04:37:40 PM
It seems that this miner doesn't support ASICboost try to use a normal pool or change or pool to ViaBTC.

The list of the normal pool is listed at this link below.

more pool can be found here https://miningpoolstats.stream/
4540  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Why Electrum only generates SegWit addresses? on: October 01, 2021, 11:56:34 PM
~snip~

The error should be what you focus on, according to the image at the end of the error says "Remove the existing wallet first!"

That is why you get that error it's because Electrum couldn't generate a new wallet with the same wallet name if you use that command it will use the "default_wallet" so if you can rename your wallet default_wallet to default_wallet1 or any other name the command you use will work.
