4541  Economy / Services / Re: BITCLOAK BITCOIN MIXER [SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN] [OPEN][Merit Requirement] on: June 06, 2018, 12:44:34 PM

Can I keep my signature and automatically enroll in the next round if there will be any?

I am also interesting what will happen if campaign continue, do we need apply again or user who are in spreadsheet are automatic in?

From official BitCloak thread there is sign that signature campaign could be continued :

Will continue improving the service and investing more in signature campaigns.
BitCloak

As I know from before, you have to reapply for every new cycle when new funds are available

Something might not be right in your local thread or maybe they just don't appreciate your posts.

''Does that mean all merit sources are hand selected? Is there a list of currently active merit sources? Sorry, I was lazy, should have read in full first.''

I can not see a positive side of this message and it's definitely worth 10 times what I write ... But ;

This sentence > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.msg28856606#msg28856606 Gained 49 Merits

Quote
Maybe, but sending merit(sMerit) will run out or decay in due time and only merit sources will be able to send merits. So, if they're selling merits, it will not last forever.

Say to me now please :

-How much information do you have about the wit capacity of Merit sources ? (Do not perceive this as an insult)

-What if they can not understand how important the information I provide is ?

The sentence is from the day /the first hours/ the merit was implemented so it is completely normal to gain so much attention. People tried to test the system and gave some points to the first few valuable comments.

Getting merit is really hard... Hello! Smiley

Well, that's the whole idea of the merit. If it's too easy then everyone will have it.
4545  Other / Meta / Re: Is the merit system flawed? on: June 04, 2018, 10:59:16 AM

I read somewhere a month ago that 1 merit costs around 40$, if that's true I have given for free more then a few couple of thousands to the folks.
There will always be a way to cheat the system.
What disturbed me was a thing that someone mentioned a service where you can buy merit from the Hero or Leg, but he is writhing a quality post for you, which you get to post as your own and then he merits this post. Idk what is the price and how he is doing this but man, this is crazy...
Just rumors I read in some of the local broads...

Isn't it mad? You can make a post on your local board, submit it to the Fit to Talk translation promotion project, and receive at least 5 merits if it is approved - that's $200 according to your report. Also, everything is in public view, so you are not going to get red tagged for doing it. So far we have had no takers - it really makes me wonder about the new posters in the Bitcoin Talk underworld.

Don't give those cheaters extra ideas man, I'm sure they are already sniffing around for merit backdoor.
BTW why don't you put up a link in your sig to this Fit to Talk project?
Seems useful but a lot of ppl are unaware of it,definitely needs more popularity. My English is also a bit broken, so I'll trow an eye on it too if I get enough free time and you need to be in a mood for such things, right Smiley
4546  Other / Meta / Re: Bug report. Error during report a post to moderator. on: June 04, 2018, 10:39:11 AM
Every one explaining me there is specifics time as per rank. This reply for you and I make it big. Because i already mention I didn't make any post recently. But you can't see. I know that there is time span between each post. But I didn't make any post/report  during 8 hours. After 8 hours a was attempting to report a post to moderator. That time I have face this problem. Not only today. Also yesterday. That's why I make post.

If that's the case then I suspect someone else is posing from your IP. I wonder if this could be the case. Check the message>

Anyone else connected to your network? Are you using VPN?
4547  Other / Meta / Re: Bug report. Error during report a post to moderator. on: June 04, 2018, 09:36:13 AM
Afaik, creating a new topic or making a new post or sending a private message or reporting a post are all related and you have to wait a specific time (depends from your rank) between each action.

Yes, including searching. When you rank up the time is reduced. For Full member and up is 4 seconds. For Member it was 11 seconds. Idk for Jr. and newbies, but it can be found in the rules somewhere.
4548  Other / Meta / Re: Is the merit system flawed? on: June 04, 2018, 08:21:43 AM

I think most of the user want a merit especially to those who has lowest rank and they pay for the merit to get a higher rank. They pay for it even if it is on a high value. And others sell merit because they want money they use it as a alternative to get money for they finacial needs. They cheat to have merit and Cheating is a sin. But they want money so they do cheating .

It saddens me when I read posts like this. It sounds as if your opinions have been formed in the underworld here ( the bounty spammer boards ), and it makes me feel that if bounty spammers are abusing merits like this, then I should try to avoid giving them any merits to feed their system.

4549  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how long do bitcoin mixers usually take? on: June 04, 2018, 08:05:22 AM
In this untrustworthy crypto world you should always double/triple check where you send your money to.
Where did you found this mixer, btw.

Quote
"Please be warned that the minimum amount for mixing is 0,01 BTC. Smaller amounts are considered as donations."

OMG, typical fuckers trying to get away with it... this should be a good lesson, man.
4550  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Disable on: June 04, 2018, 07:55:17 AM
@OP ~ Sir iasenko was right. If you are not comfortable here then choose to stay in your local board to avoid this misconceptions.

Please man, no SIR.. or if you gonna use "sir" here in the forum then use it like in the military.
Code:
Sir iasenko, sir ;)

Noo, jk, it is informal forum here so everyone are like friends, no need for you to show respect this way, just assume that everyone here are equal human beings /well except for the bots/ and communicate with them as you gonna communicate with your fellow mates.
4551  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: June 04, 2018, 07:43:12 AM
~

There were a lot of merit abuses in the first two months, I guess people got scared to send merit. There were many innocent that got tagged, tho. Well, there was no official announcement of the change, besides this thread and people just begin to try it as " no one reads the user manuals".
We need more time for full overview I think.

WEEKLY UPDATE
~snip~

Great analysis man, as usual.
From 48K to 19K this is a big fall, idk if this is only because the initial sMerit now is almost totally distributed or because there are less quality posts.
Lets see if in the next month the number will fall under the merit source limit.
Quote
There are 80 merit sources with a total merit generation of up to 18500 sMerit per 30 days
4553  Other / Meta / Re: Celebrating my 0 to 100+ merits and demonstrations of impact on: June 04, 2018, 06:17:42 AM
I personally turned hugeblack into Sr Member and TheQuin into Hero, so you can add them to your lists too Smiley
Assuming that they started as Full member and Sr Member.
4554  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: One (1) Merit point to Rank-up Service, READ THE RULES BEFORE YOU APPLY!! on: June 04, 2018, 06:05:44 AM
My rank is: Jr.Member
The merit I need to rank-up: 1

Congrats mate, now you are a member. Keep up the good work Smiley

I have only one request - share your merit, it really does not need much of it anymore because only ...9 @@

I can give you an advice here, avoid merit begging and you gonna have a chance to get some.
DTs doesn't like such behaviour and you probably will get tagged if you cross your path with one of them.
If you do so, I'll remove my quote too Smiley

Btw, keep posting good stuff and you gonna be rewarded, I'm sure. When you reach 9 merit and you need one, come to me, I can help Wink

Does someone have a table of these characters? I can automatically convert non-standard characters to ASCII.

Any updates here? The last time I checked / few days ago/there was no change.
4558  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Gambling addiction and serious mental illness on: June 02, 2018, 07:46:08 PM
I've been trough something similar. I was laughing at a guy who lost more then 3K$ on Poker, then I got involved in the Forex, some years ago. Tried with demo account with virtual money, reading and trading some pairs, then I double the investments for two times /starting from base amount every time to be sure what i'm doing/ and I thought BAG! I can do it too, I'm a trader. /bullshit, it was pure luck/.

When you gain some self confidence that you can do something but you really can't or don't know what you are doing it's kind of a" hold my beer" jokes.
I made some trades, lost some savings, then again went back to 0, then I made some good profit but and got more confidence, the problem is that you don't know when to stop, you become greedy, and greedier with your next good trade and you don't pay attention to the looses /big mistake/.

Everything goes exponentially same as your greed, and at the end you loose everything even more.

Aside of the money I lost many sleepless nights in watching the 3 screens, checking every time. Meta Trader had an awful default alarm sound i hated it but did't change it. Waking you up in 3 or 4 AM with this sound was horrible, I still hear it, sometimes. The good thing with the Forex is that you have a free weekends, but not with the Bitcoin.

I almost lost control over my job / I still have a small company/. Then came the health issues, too much stress and punting weight from bad sleep and sitting all the time, eating fast food.  No time for friends, you are dead tired on the weekends...

I lost some money but I manage to recover. Everything was just for an year but man, had a huge impact on me.

I just woke up one night from the alarm and said STOP. Closed all the open positions and shut off the PCs. The next day I got on my bicycle and went riding for hours / it was really hard in the beginning you cannot breath after so long period without motion/.

I learned to control it, I have a family now and I have to be responsible for my actions.

Now i'm playing dice from time to time with the money from the campaigns here Cheesy

OMG people, are you using google translate to post here?!?!?
I know my English is not perfect but c'mon, I have no idea what the OP wants to ask and some of the comments  here are like a random wallet seed.
I know it's not easy but there's always a LOCAL BOARDS where you can ask first.
4560  Other / Meta / Re: Negative trust farmers on: June 02, 2018, 07:00:33 PM
Can someone explain me why anyone would want negative trust at all? I have seen people "farm" negative trust apparently

Speaking of negative trust, you have to remove/change your signature, coz begging for merit is not tolerated here and you gonna get tagged sooner or later.
So friendly advice, just take it away asap.
