4541  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ***CEX.IO Cloud mining official page*** on: February 02, 2014, 03:25:17 PM
Will CEX.io/Ghash put Litecoin ( LTC ) in, please do, add Litecoin into merged mining !
Or, other AltCoin. Yes, i am aware of the diff. protocol but with drozend of people gaining interest on CEX.io, it would be Nice if there was more profit to gain.

It would nice to be able to buy scrypt mining on Cex.io

The price of Ghs in BTC will only decreased since the difficulty will be increasing

Yes, indeed !
I hope someone of CEX reads this. ( and maybe answer )
The return is marginal and there's not much to profit if every coin that you earn has to go into more Ghash.
If scrypt mining could technically run along side of the bitcoin mining or beside ( not even as merged mining ) there Will be more to gain and actually make Some profit out of this.
CEX.io make it happen !!

That is exactly why I posted it, in case someone from CEX.io was reading, I am sure they are considering the idea or they considered it; it would be interesting to buy Ghs or Khs for scryptmining and have a lot of different alt-coins mined, it is way easier than mining yourself and keeping track of all the coins.

They would still allow to sell the alt coins on their exchanges to get BTC
4542  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: MakeBTC.org Pyramid Scheme on: February 02, 2014, 02:05:19 PM
The leaders statistics may not be accurate, on my cabinet page it is written I deposited 0.1BTC when I actually deposited 0.2
Maybe they will send it to you after, last bank wasn't long ago
Did you really only received 1.1BTC? I will keep everyone updated on whether I received my 0.02BTC withdraw, is there anyone else that wasn't paid?
4543  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Job Offer: Bitcoin Miner on: February 02, 2014, 02:00:34 PM
hahaha I am new on this forum but some threads and offers are pretty funny, the worse is I am sure some people could accept this offer, I am usually careful what I invest in and I deposited 0.2 on makeBTC, a pyramid scheme!! Someone that is not careful will just send its money to whoever seems to offer a good deal

If I understand the first offer he did, it is actually worse than what most here think : you get 50% of any revenue after 0.2BTC, it means that if you mine 0.5BTC you only get 50%(0.5-0.2)=0.15
Mining 0.2BTC takes 50days with 10Ghs...
4544  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [Promo] Bitcointalk Forum Accounts for Sale - Not Hacked on: February 02, 2014, 01:51:04 PM
2 Days in the promo and it will go back to its original price.

I have a question for you.

Did anybody buy this "legit" accounts?

Of course there is. I've sold more than 30 accounts months ago. During the time when thymos disabled the registration. And right now someone is interested to buy all my accounts. This completely legit accounts. I've hired posters to do the posting to raise its status.

That is still a bit weird, I can understand that someone would want mutiple old accounts to create some activity on a thread but I think that some people could also use these accounts to hack, do you check on what the buyers do with the accounts?

makeBTC is apparently buying adds on bitcointalk : he can expect 1200 000 impressions which should bring thousands of new players and hundreds of new deposits, don't you think?

I've sent you the bitcoins equal to my bid of 1.25

OK, you can bid up to 2.5 total without paying more. Pay to the same address as before if you want to increase your bids beyond that.

Current status:
Slots BTC/Slot Person
1 1.30 Goat
1 1.30 victorhing
1 1.25 MakeBTC
2 1.25 ppanther
3 1.20 CEX

Bitcointalk will advertise a pyramid scheme?

Apparently yes, I guess they accept it because it advertises itself as it is. Ponzi scheme are illegal because they don't work though but I guess that if you change the rules along the way you can keep it going for a while, we will see
1 200 000 ads impressions in 9days on bitcointalk will definitely bring a lot of players and probably 10BTC in deposits, makeBTC could use some of the money deposited or revinvested by players to buy add campaigns

I hope nobody will deposit on MakeBTC because they are losing money. Read my posts and you will never deposit again on that site. It is fake. No payments. Promised a lot nut they dont do what they promise.

A lot of new depositors may be bad for the depositors but may allow the old depositors to cash out a bit

What I don't like about the website is the fact that makeBTC is only suppose to get 1% of all deposits so it means they would have only earned 1BTC so far less all the servers costs and they are going to advertise the website for 1.25BTC...I doubt that 1% is all they plan on getting from the website

A lot of people seem to have cashed out fine so far, I cashed out 0.02 from last bank, it was my first cash out and I will be able to tell if it went through as soon as my bitcoin client synchronises (which could take a while from where I am), can you tell us exactly how much you cashed out and how much you actually received in your bitcoin wallet? They could be "stealing" from the big early players because that is where the money is but maybe they punished you from not telling about the bug? They should be more open about it then.
4547  Economy / Speculation / Re: 790 people own half the bitcoins on: February 01, 2014, 01:41:31 PM
It's obvious that a portion of these 790 people have recently started using their wealth to keep the price stable on a few major exchanges.  Since the price of bitcoin is entirely confidence driven it is easy for the whales to sell anything over 800 and buy anything under 750.  It even generates a profit for them.  Indeed, it is the ONLY way to defend their holdings since they could never liquidate so many coins, and an unstable currency is ultimately worthless.

You could be right, the price has clearly been extremely stable for a few weeks which is strange

Quote
SCAM !

Unfair coin !!

Genesis-Owners get rich !

The market is manipulated !

The creator is a scammer !

This coins have no intrinsic value !

D'accord mais si tu mines un coin qui a une valeur sur un échange tu n'as rien à gagner à priori

I didn't understand your post

I don't want to defend makebtc because I understand that it may seems like a bank/investment opportunity when it is gambling but I am not sure it is worse than playing a casino game
Most people will just play some money that they can afford to lose and sadly some will play too big and get hurt

We are at 14.66 out of 15 on this bank, it looks good to pass this bank, the problem with the bonuses is that each 1BTC deposit only contributes to a 0.5BTC augmentation in the bank collection

Sur Ebay il y a des contrats de location qui coutent plusieurs fois ce qu'ils rapportent en bitcoins

What I find amazing is you need more than a 1000Bitcoins to be a millionnaire, it seems like a lot. When the dollar will crash (starting at end of 2014?2015?), having bitcoins will be pretty sweet and there will sadly be a lot more of $millionnaires

Rent your Signature (There is a list of websites that rent the signature here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=333916.0), you could also work for bitcoins, rent your forum signature, book a hotel with pointshound (i dt have any relation to this website), sell something for bitcoins

Or you could just buy them on localbitcoins or get verified on an exchange and buy some there

If you want to go the faucet route, try this one : http://freebitco.in/?r=163799 (referral link) or freebitco.in (non referral link)
