Pep wants to lead only the biggest clubs, and after Barcelona, Bayern and Manchester City there are not many more opportunities for him  Grin
Real or Liverpool? No way!
So he'll either stay in Manchester or go back to Barcelona, in my opinion.
In Barcelona there is a lot of problems at the moment, the new coach is not accepted by most players, including Messi And if Barcelona don't win any titles this season, a new change of coach is likely.
Maybe it'll be the right time to get Pep back  Cheesy
I liked Guardiola's Barcelona but there is no way he will return there and I think it's not necessary too. I remember in some interviews he strictly stated that there is no way he will return in FC Barcelona but idk reasons. I remember a lot of fans didn't Luis Enrique and there were some rumors that footballers were against him too but he wasn't changed. To be fair, I don't know what's happening in FC Barcelona lately because of my busy schedule but I think again that current coach will be here at least for two years.

Btw I would love to state that recently it was confirmed: FC Barcelona will play to Real Mallorca at 10pm on Saturday 13 June (See more details).

The fate of a coach always depends solely on the result.
If Barcelona doesn't become Spain's football champion or doesn't win the European Champions League, Barcelona will start looking for a new coach, no doubt about it.
It is already a known fact that the players are not satisfied with the new coach and his work and there are also serious conflicts in the management of the Club.
Also, Barcelona has serious financial problems.
It will be interesting to see what happens next with the club and the players.

Finally a little more concrete news about the continuation of the tennis season and the new rules for playing.
We all know that Wimbledon was canceled due to the pandemic and Roland Garros moved to the end of September, but it seems the US Open could start according to the original schedule, Aug. 31.
Special rules will apply, so special charter flights will be organized for players, tennis players will need to show medical certificates that they are not infected with the corona virus, a maximum of 4 people will be able to go with the players etc.
And most importantly, there will be no line judges either. A "hawk eye" system would be used instead  Grin Grin

And now a little fun  Grin Grin
Romanian tennis player Alexandra Cadantu shared her experience with Serena Williams.
"The first time I went to a Grand Slam tournament and the first memory I have of going into the locker room was when I saw Serena Williams for the first time in my life," the Romanian recalled to local media.
"I saw her naked and I was in shock for a week, because she's very big.

So, naked Serena Williams shocks her tennis rivals in the locker room and dressed on the tennis court  Grin Grin

fiulpro, thanks for the valuable action, especially since you don't have a lot of available merits to share either.
I believe that other users will recognize this action and get involved with their merits.
If I find a good application, I will probably give some merit as well.

Interesting article and title in Marca today: If Real Madrid are not going to sign anyone, how will Barcelona pay for Neymar, Pjanic and Lautaro?  Cheesy
Very interesting situation.
After a long time, it seems that a situation is possible in which this summer, due to the corona crisis, Real will not bring in any new players.
Barcelona, on the other hand, are talking about bringing in Neymar, Miralem Pjanic and Lautaro Martinez….
Only desires or a realistic possibility?

It seems that Barcelona has already found an alternative to Pjanic, according to Mundo Deportivo it is Fabian Ruiz.
Bayern is very sure that they will finally bring Leroy Sane, that even Uli Hoenes has already talked about him as a future Bayern player.
Is Alexandre Lacazette ready to change club and go to Inter?

In addition, in the English league this season, Manchester City is far behind Liverpool and by their standards they had a bad season.
This speaks in favor of your opinion that Pep could return to Barcelona, perhaps as early as the summer.
If Pep is to leave Manchester City anytime soon, it would likely be out of his own volition. During his four year stint at the Etihad, he has brought huge success to the club and despite the failings in his first year and poor performance so far this season in the EPL, he has done enough to secure his position. A move to Barcelona however is very possible, and if he chooses to return I'm sure the club would be Keen on such a transfer.

There appears to have been a bit of disruption at the Camp Nou, with Messi complaining some weeks ago about the style of play and how unproductive it is. I wouldn't be surprised to see a change in management.

Pep wants to lead only the biggest clubs, and after Barcelona, Bayern and Manchester City there are not many more opportunities for him  Grin
Real or Liverpool? No way!
So he'll either stay in Manchester or go back to Barcelona, in my opinion.

4550  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Shabby introductory post won't help on: May 31, 2020, 09:59:05 AM
I seldom give merit to an introductory post, introductory is just a way to have a feel of how is it posting on the forum, and a little information about yourself, but what makes you a credible poster is how you post and how you give your opinion on different subjects, the introductory post will not give me an idea if you are a spammer or a good poster, your succeeding post will.

I never gave merit to an introductory post.
Ussually, such post have low quality or or are copies of old and already known information from the forum.
To some extent I can understand people who write such posts, they want to build their reputation on the forum as quickly as possible and they don't have enough knowledge and experience to write about what they know specifically.
There are exceptions, however..
In my, local part of the forum, a newbie appeared who is actually the owner of a crypto firm.
He shared with us his company's successful projects, such as a crypto payment application or an agreement with the post offices so that users there can sell bitcoin  Grin Grin
Unfortunately, such examples are very rare and new members have little or no experience and knowledge of crypto or bitcoin but on the other hand they try to write something even though they don't know what  Grin Grin

The owners of Manchester City have invested a lot of money in that club, and Pep failed to achieve the ultimate goal, to win the European Champions League..
In addition, in the English league this season, Manchester City is far behind Liverpool and by their standards they had a bad season.
This speaks in favor of your opinion that Pep could return to Barcelona, perhaps as early as the summer.
Still, after Barcelona, Pep won only national leagues, which was expected given the strength of Bayern and Manchester City, but Pep was no longer able to win the European Champions League again.
Pep failed with his task in Champions League with Bayern and Manchester City (nearly failed if they will not win the title this season). To win the Champions League, teams need to have good luck besides their own strengths. Bayern had bad lucks with their matches against Real Madrid, definitely. In contrast, it is not a reason to blame for the failure of Pep with Bayern.
Quote
This may give some people the right to say that as a coach he is overrated and that he won the best results in his career with the best club in the world, Barcelona, and with the best player in the world, Messi, which was not difficult to achieve.
Nowadays, it is a big challenge to win a high competitive Champions League if a coach solely rely on one key player, even the player is Messi. Do you really think Barca is still be strong enough to win the Champions League?

OK, I agree that luck is also important in football but it is no coincidence that Barcelona and Real have recently won several European Champions Leagues.
The best teams know how to win trophies and cope best under pressure.
Barcelona is always good enough to win the European Champions League, but the fact is that in recent years they have always lacked something for that result.
Disasters like big defeats in decisive matches against Roma and Liverpool must not happen to a club that wants to win the competition.

And finally some good news for Real fans  Grin

Real Madrid working towards playing at the Bernabeu in October... with fans present''[/i]
It seems that Real will play the remaining matches this season at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano at Valdebebas and will later return to their stadium.
Real is preparing plans to open part of the stadium for fans in October.
Initially, only a third of the seats would be filled, and on January the entire stadium would be filled  Cheesy

Before Barca bought him from Liverpool, I was sure that he is perfect player for Barca and their style. But something just went wrong. I'm happy that he found himself in Bayern, but now I don't see his future in Barcelona, as much as I hate to say it.
It is strange because Coutinho moved from Liverpool to Barca after his very successful Word Cup, at least in his personal side. In the latest World Cup, Coutinho is the best player of Brazil, not Neymar. He found himself in Bayern and it is better for him to stay in Bayern. Coutinho reminds me about the Sneijder, who found himself after leaving Real Madrid and Arjen Robben who became a legend in Bayer after leaving Real Madrid.

In Barca, maybe Griezman will be another failed transfer, after Coutinho. I don't know why they both failed in the Catalan club, people talked about the dark effects from Messi, but honestly I don't know and there is no way to verify such drama.

I heard some rumors that Bayern is not interesting in Coutinho and I don't understand why. He really played very  well last season in Bayern.
In Barcelona we have drama already long time because of new coach,  fight in the club management,  financial problems.
There are tensions also between players and Messi is not happy as well.
For new players is very difficult in such atmosphere to adapt and play as they know.

There's only one guy who could fix Barca's current problems.  Pep.  I think with everything going on with him, City banned at CL, mom died recently, he'll be looking forward to coming home.  He could also take a year off again before coming back to management.

The owners of Manchester City have invested a lot of money in that club, and Pep failed to achieve the ultimate goal, to win the European Champions League..

Expected news after Supreme Court decision to legalize sports betting.
All states should take the necessary steps to fully legalize sports betting, but it is only a matter of time before all states do so.
Why are people against this bill?
There will always be people who are against betting for crime related to this business, and the fact is that in order for someone to get money most others have to lose

4560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 on: May 28, 2020, 11:44:33 AM
Trump was such a trainwreck as a candidate, it was unbelievable like a SNL sketch.    Ironic that Hilary appeared to shrug and prepare for inevitable victory, totally the worst thing a candidate can ever do or say so deserved to lose regardless of opinions.

There is no way Trump can pay off the national debt in 4 or even 10 years, thats just a blatant lie for anyone who completed high school maths and bothers to look at the figures for 5 minutes.

Quote
It's quite clear that Donald Trump is going to get re-elected for a second term.

Biden is being slandered to hell

It really is not clear, theres multiple factors that could throw this race to the extremes.    Having followed these elections since Clinton was in office, I'd say this one is the most liable to upset.    The golden rule is 2 terms is the norm barring economic upset and thats just happened.

I also couldn't believe that Trump will win Presidential elections.
I have some friends in America and asked them what happened.
They told me that people was tired from traditional politicians,  didn't trust them anymore and wanted real change in Washington.
Somehow,  they felt that Trump is real change,  somebody who will shake Washington.
Now,  he still have loyal followers and popularity but I'm not sure it will be enough for him to win again.
Average Joe can see now who is real Trump,  all stupid things he did or said and if Biden can show that he is qualified for this big responsibility,  someone who don't divide people and someone who really care for others,  not just for economy or money,  than I believe Biden will be next president.
