These days are going on really active for Leicester. Newcastle are a candidate for Maddison and Leicester are said to be demanding 60 million pounds now. If I were in Newcastle's place I would still go for him because they really need to strengthen the squad to be successful this season. They have too much money so it isn't a big deal for them. Apart from this possible transfer, I see that Kasper Schmeichel is joining Nice very soon officially. They will need to look for a solid goalkeeper as well.

Trabzonspor seem very excited about this season as they showed it against Sivasspor by crushing them. The Super League is much more difficult than a Super Cup game of course. But we all know at the same time that they are already the most recent champions of the league. Maybe they wouldn't do this that much easy this time but they are certainly one of the favourites for the league title again now. It is very important for the other biggest teams of the league to perform well and compete with Trabzonspor this season.

Atletico Madrid have been quite silent about big transfers for a long time. The most attracting ones so far Axel Witsel and Nahuel Molina. Axel Witsel is a free transfer and he can make a nice contribution to the team. I didn't know about Molina much by the way. But after I did some research about him I saw that his performance last season was really good. He seems to be very favorable transfer for a 20 million euros only. They don't seem like they are thinking of bringing a much bigger player now.

Sergey Milinkovic-Savic is a rumoured player to sign for Juventus these days. Pogba has got injured so they need to sign a new midfielder. Milinkovic-Savic would be one of the best alternatives for Pogba and he might even perform better than Pogba when he is back from his injury. Lazio's demand would be really high from them but I don't think that they would care about that much. Their finance is very well and they can afford him easily if they want to.

As you already know Chelsea are looking for selling Timo Werner as he is willing to leave as well. There can be another team to go for signing him now because Chelsea have offered him to Real Madrid according to some rumours. Mariano Diaz is the only substitute for Benzema in the team now. They were interested in signing a striker some time ago actually. Maybe they can think of signing Werner seriously. He would most probably be a rotation player but he might be very useful if he adapts to the league.

Haaland should be given some time to adapt indeed. Actually he wasn't that bad in the Community Shield game. He was just unlucky especially about that absolute goal chance he found in the last moments. Every striker can experience this kind of moments so it isn't a problem at all for me. Let's just wait for the season to progress for some time and see what he will start to do in time. To tell the truth I don't expect him to have big difficulties in playing compatibly with Guardiola's system.

I realized that I really missed the cooperation between Messi and Neymar. Their performances against Nantes today were really impressive. They just didn't even make people feel the absence of Mbappe here. This is very important for PSG now. When at least one member of this trio is absent they should still be able to do a great work like this. It is going to be important in the Champions League as well but I hope none of them experiences this when the team needs them the most.

My opinion about this topic is like this. Bayern Munich have four right-backs in total now. It is the same for centre-backs as well. Considering this situation maybe they would be willing to sell Pavard for a favorable offer. Chelsea wouldn't see it as a problem as long as they reach an agreement on a sensible amount. Pavard is a skilled defender and versatile as you said. Chelsea would make use of a player like him too much now. His market value is 30 million euros and I think they can have a deal at a level around 40 million the most.

Roma have been reported to be interested in Andrea Belotti who is still free agent now. However the number of strikers in the team would increase quite a lot then. They have already signed Dybala recently. I don't know if they need another one. When it comes to Belotti he is a decent striker for me. But it is doubtful how much playing time he would have at Roma among all these alternatives. I wonder what kind of plans Mourinho has for him. If he is thinking of him in the lineup directly then they should go for him.

It can be seen as normal for Nets to wait for a big benefit if they will trade Kevin Durant to a team. He is their most valuable player in the end. Newcastle are seriously interested in signing James Maddison now. Leicester have a price tag for him like at least 50 million pounds. Newcastle's last offer for him was 40 million pounds and Leicester turned it down as a result. Newcastle shouldn't give up on signing him of course as the gap is not too big for them now. They have a huge amount of money to spend and Maddison is one of the really good players who are worth it. Leicester are trying to keep him by offering a contract extension on one hand.

It is like there is nearly no very tough game in the league for this season as well. There are only few teams that can make difficulties for PSG when they play a home game especially. These teams might be considered like Monaco, Marseille and Nice the most for me. We don't know how this trio will start as well but I'm expecting them to be as much competitive as they were in the previous season at least. PSG would make a solid start by defeating Clermont comfortably.

It is claimed that Juventus are targeting the old Napoli striker Dries Mertens as well. He is still free agent and it would be too easy for them to sign him. However I don't think that he should be among their top targets. Because he is already 35 years old and I don't think that he will show a very impressive performance. He should be like a backup plan for Juventus in case they fail in signing strikers like Morata and Werner. It is important what they think of doing with a new transfer too. If they are thinking of him in the starting eleven then Mertens should definitely stay as the last option.

The season is almost starting. I have checked the games ahead and I have seen that one of the biggest games of the league is going to be played on Week 6 between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid. When it comes to the first week I don't see very tough games for especially Barcelona and Real Madrid. I think they both would start strongly to this season. I'm going to watch especially Lewandowski closely. His adaptation process can even be the most important thing for Barcelona now.

I wouldn't say that Nuno Tavares has a very bright future ahead. He just wasn't liked at Arsenal after seeing his performance and he has been loaned to Marseille now. Arsenal have found the left-back they would like by signing Zinchenko in the end. Marseille still did a good job for themselves of course if they are thinking of sending one of the other left-backs in the team. Amavi was already on loan last season and maybe they can look for a team for him again.

The number of contenders to sign Werner is rising now. After Leipzig and Juventus, Newcastle are also willing to sign him now. However they want to make a loan move for him which Chelsea would still find appropriate for themselves. On the other hand I wonder what Werner is thinking about all of these teams. Newcastle seem like the weakest team among them of course so they are disadvantageous in terms of that. But they can be the team he can play in the starting eleven the most at the same time.

Congratulations to Liverpool! That 3-1 victory over Manchester City was a perfect beginning to the season for certain. This game would have ended differently as well if Manchester City were more capable about scoring goals. The league would be much different from this of course. But Liverpool would be more focused at the beginning of the season as they have won a cup already now. We will see which one of these teams will make a better start to the season. I will look forward to seeing Haaland scoring many goals like he was doing at Dortmund.

Q3 was just wonderful and very surprising at the same time. Who would have expected a Mercedes driver to take the pole position or even that driver to be Russell? I'm not underestimating Russell by saying that of course but I mean that I was seeing Hamilton one step ahead normally. Anyway after I saw that Sainz had a great lap and Leclerc messed up, I just said that was it. But Russell had the last word by an amazing lap. It was a nightmare-like session for Verstappen as well because he lost power and finished at the 10th position.

Juventus are still thinking about a move to sign Nicolo Zaniolo but I'm not very positive about Roma to sell him to any team now. It is like the time they need him the most because they would aim to have a better season with Mourinho. Zaniolo is a player who can play a critical role in making this real. Tottenham are also observing his situation from some distance and looking for an opportunity to sign him. I expect none of them to reach their goal at least for this summer.

Erik ten Hag is still eager to keep Anthony Martial in the team even though there is a high interest by Juventus these days. I don't think that Erik ten Hag is planning to give him too many chances in the starting eleven but if he leaves they aren't going to have any substitute player left for Ronaldo in the team. Maybe he is thinking of benefiting from him as a winger too but I don't know. Juventus might go for Werner and Morata after hearing about this.
