Disagree with your opinion about Rashford dropped performance in EURO 2020, I think EURO he can't show how great performance because not got enough minutes playing, last match only play when extra time and left few minutes on the field with wrong position as left back. I know he was failed to score on penalty kick but I believe Rashford still most danger forward for Manchester United. Rashford is a pacy winger,no doubt,he wasn't given more playing time at the Euro tournament so we can't start judging whether he has dropped form or not.He is still whom he used to be.I think the trio,Rashford,Sancho, and Cavani will be one of the deadliest front three we will have in EPL next season. @Xxmodded and @Lordhermes, I am not referring only to EURO 2020 and the penalty failure to judge a player, I agree he didn't get much time to prove himself and missing a penalty shouldn't be a shame unless the player shot it in a manner to try to humiliate the goalkeeper and showoff.. I am talking about what we expect from Rashford during the season and various competitions and between the reality. He could do better, way better than this but he has to be endorsed and guided by his coach which isn't helping him a lot imo.

You didn't get what is said above. Eriksen collapsed due to arrhythmia, was successfully resuscitated and a pacemaker was placed to prevent future events. Being fit or not for games depends on regular checkup, he might be fit today but not tomorrow. Unless they found out the problem behind the arrhythmia and treated it, which isn't obvious and didn't read anything about it, then removing the pacemaker will always be risky even if it was approved by medics. As I already said earlier, it is preferable for him to move to another league where he can play with a cardiac device (Netherlands...)

Monthly update regarding the summer transfer market session. We are in the middle of the session and from the table, you can see where and who is spending money. The only two realities that have money and are spending are those of the Premier League with a negative investment balance of over 200 million and Ligue1 or rather PSG, the only French team that is investing. https://i.imgur.com/DqnN3gG.pngSource: https://www.transfermarkt.it/statistik/transfersaldenI think better to put the table like this to have a better look: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FHAm3I4m.jpg&t=663&c=zi6mX-xV863SRg) Indeed top 5 leagues shared the most expenditures with a huge difference between them and the others and even between them. EPL is like spending twice as much as the next in line. Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1 spending 2x comparing to La Liga. That simply reflects the economical situation of each club/country. We all know how much Barcelona and Real Madrid suffering. PSG is boosting Ligue 1 statistics and EPL contracts are ridiculously hyped for some players.

The career of Rashford stucks after the appearance of Solskajer in Old Trafford. He is a player need space to play and to use his speedy run. Solskajer tries to use Rashford as a striker that is not a best position for him.
It might be best for all, Solskajer, Rashford and the club if he can play at the left wing, Sancho at the right wing and Cavani in the centre of their attacking system.
Cavani will be given more opportunities with key passes from Sancho, Rashford and Bruno. He will be able to score from 20 to 30 goals for Manchester United.
Rashford dropped in performance and I think EURO has a negative impact on him psychologically and now the injury... He will sure recover and Solskajer will try to find a suitable position for him with the new players. Meanwhile in City, Grealish seems closer to move with a record signing?

Bale and Hazard are Perez's faulty passes. Tottenham and Chelsea worked hard to sell these players. You shouldn't expect them to be stable and good games. Peres should try to sell them and buy younger and more promising players.
Bale and Hazard are talented players. Real Madrid made no mistake in bringing them to the team. If their fitness problems could be fixed then we would get proof of their ability. Neymar also has a lot of fitness problems. PSG paid him a lot of high salaries, but Neymar could not play for almost half the season due to injury. Bale used to be a good player and a good deal for Real Madrid years ago. In the latest seasons, he wasn't top anymore. Now under Ancelotti he has to prove himself again or he will be trashed like what happened to him under Zidane. For Hazard, personally I find his contract a failure and disaster for Real Madrid regardless of his talent. Neymar is unstable player yet he can add something to PSG, that doesn't mean that PSG could not find a better substitute than him.

Regarding Alaba - his contract details leaked to the media today. Apparently he will earn over 115m euros during his 5-year contract. He also got a signing bonus of 17.7 million as a free agent. 10 more million were given to his agent and apparently, also to his family.
He is good but not that good. Really crazy contract, it will cost Real more than twice as much than what they received from selling Varane - a better player overall.
Real Madrid doesn't have a choice after letting Ramos go and seeing the intention of Varane to leave the club. Besides, Varane wasn't constantly good especially when Ramos wasn't playing. Overall Alaba will be the main defender of los blancos for the upcoming years.

Did I miss something? Why do you think Juventus could be banned from the Champions League for next year? Are you referring to the Super League plans? I don't think that Super League will ever come into existence. The resistance also from the fans will be massive. So far I haven't seen a fan community that was supportive of those Super league plans.
Yeah It is related to ESL but Real Madrid already taken the whole thing to a Spanish court and won the case and now we have this that might escalate quickly against UEFA top officials. Anyway, there is plans being reviewed to make the competition open without 100% guaranteed position for founding clubs mainly. Such thing might make the competition acceptable by fans. Additionally once there is no risk for being banned from UEFA competitions, fans will care less about it.

Some ManU news: Ole warned his international players who played EURO and Copa America that they might not participate in Leeds game if they weren't fit enough but the sad part is Rashford risk to miss that match since he has to be operated for shoulder injury as soon as the surgeon is available so in less than a week, other sources said imminently! source

At the beginning of next week Simone Inzaghi will finally welcome back all the national players who are still enjoying their last few days of holiday. The first week of August will be important for the Nerazzurri because another great return is expected in Milan: that of Christian Eriksen. He will undergo several medical checks and if his mental and physical conditions will be deemed good the doctors could decide to remove his internal defibrillator which would mean he could legally be entitled to play again in Serie A!
Didn't expect to see him willing to play again, I mean regarding the tragic event that day in EURO I was waiting for him to retire! I find it risky to remove the ICD so early even if medics allowed it. Italy is very strict about medical conditions, if he fails the checkup and willing to continue playing, he can move to another league like Netherlands...

Hell yeah! Exactly how my wife wakes me up each morning! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) lol, I have to search the effect of morning slaps on short term performance and long term health ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Well I saw that slap on reddit and I found it a way of motivating the player. Dunno why people and officials condemned this since the player didn't show to be surprised and already mentioned it was her demand. The only thing that surprised me is her nationality, thought it was Russian or from an ex-USSR country. Well after all shaking and slapping isn't effective all times!

-snip- They still have 1 month to recruit new players transfer window closes at the end of august I don't think Madrid is that careless they must be planning something I think they are still waiting for news regarding mbappe, after getting confirmation that Madrid are taking the steps that have been determined
There is a month left indeed but clubs are picking best players and renewing contracts while Real Madrid is just watching. Staff already mentioned there is some financial difficulties that's why they tried to launch ESL. The main problem is to have a coherent defense after the major change there, but also good substitutes in case of injuries/covid?

Am I the only one who doesn't care about these games? ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) For me, the Champions will start with the draws and this year they will be the 26th of August. For sure not ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Since I am not familiar with most of these teams and have no intention to, I just follow the results and see if known names will progress to the next stage. So far, zvezda made a surprising 5 goals in the second leg although it was behind 1-2 in the 1st leg. Sparta Prague too scoring 2-0 vs Rapid Wien, both matches didn't finish yet.

There have been rumors that Pogba is about to leave Manchester United. Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been heavily linked with PSG. His club wants to sell him out to go, so he must move to another club. He would like to move to Paris, but he has to wait until his contracts expire in 2022.
Yep Raiola already said it around January 2021, Raiola never lies. He said, "paul will leave this summer". Let's see where he will go I'm guessing he will end in Madrid. I believe PSG will hunt him as it did with the others. Pogba wants to go there, PSG wants him in, ManU will not risk seeing him leaving the team next year for free after they failed so far to convince him to stay, even his teammates failed to convince him. PSG has to get ride of few players (3, forgot their names in the article I read earlier) to lower the cost a little.

Haaland seems to be shocked by the news that Chelsea are preparing to offer 175m for him. He thinks that it's really too much money for one person and he hopes that it's just a rumour.
It could be a rumour too but I'm very sure that Chelsea are going to offer a great sum to be able to sign Haaland.
I think it is a rumour that Chelsea wants to spend such price for one person but Dortmund fixing that price to chase other clubs from offering a lower price is true. Haaland came from RBS for ~20m which means in case they sold him for 175m = 875% profit, better than gambling ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/gossipAccording to the news, Manchester City are ready to offer £75m plus add-ons for Aston Villa's talented midfielder Jack Grealish. But it looks like it is valued as £100m at Aston Villa now. So, I don't think that Aston Villa would accept this offer. They wouldn't like to lose their best player for a price less than they expected. According to Transfermarkt, Jack Grealish value is estimated at 65m (£58.5m) which is logic imo. I could understand trying to sell him for £75m but £100m is a little bit abusive I would say. Some EPL teams are overestimating their English players.

I wonder if somewhere there's a gambling addict who has been jabbed a couple dozen times with fake identification information in the hopes they win this lottery? I'd like to think no, but we all know it's probably happened. I'm a bit shocked that governments are resorting to what amounts to preying on those with mental health problems and those who are bad at math in order to entice people to do what they want. Makes you wonder why they think bribing people for wanted behavior is acceptable and where they got that idea from.
Honestly with all drama about vaccine, I doubt there will be people trying to get 2 additional jabs at least in the first 3 months after the first 2 jabs. I mean at least most people will not even think about that unless few gambling-addicted citizens. Even though, passing online verification require a good hacker. Not sure about Poland specifically but most countries are using verification system that contains data of their citizens. Getting a jab instead of someone else (recently dead family member with similar characteristics?) might eventually be possible in case there isn't a biometric verification at the moment of vaccination? Other methods require a lot of efforts and money and might end up locked in the prison for a long time. To resume, it depends from countries, very hard to do irl, risks >> benefits.

to this whole deal and the whole development of the players or the leagues, there is a very nice caricature the english clubs are already waiting for JB to be formed in dortmund... ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) -snip- Well, Dortmund is always working that way. Picking new fresh players for few cents, making them good players and champions then sell them for +300% their initial price if not more. The only thing that I didn't fully understand is why they are keeping Haaland although they have a very good offer for him from Chelsea around 150k! I mean if they are planning to compete for CL or Bundesliga title they would kept Sancho also with the team ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif)

Does anyone have any official information regarding the stadium attendance? I doubt that they will allow maximum capacity for the stadium especially after EURO, there has been confirmation for covid cases increasing in UK. Its a little over 2 weeks before the premier league start so there should be atleast some information regarding this
AFAIK there is nothing official yet but it appears that only fully vaccinated people will be able to attend stadiums which might accept +20k spectators progressively. After all, any official measures will be based on how good the situation will be in the next weeks. Hopefully we will see full stadium again by the end of the year..

How controversial will it be if ROC (Russian Olympic Committee) won the 2021 Olympics. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) The ROC won the Gold medal for "Women's Artistic Gymnastics" today... so countries like the USA and the UK got Silver and Bronze. Also, these countries might be close to the winner of the Olympics and they might have even won.. if Russia did not compete in the Olympics. The bookmakers should actually "ignore" the ROC (Russian Olympic Committee) position on the podium in all the events where they are participating and just give it to the Silver & Bronze positions. (shifting them a position up on the podium) Do you think it is fair for a banned country to participate as individuals to bypass the ban? Certainly the unfair point is to ban dozens of athletes for things done by others. What's the fault of these players for not lifting a trophy if they were able to? Because another citizen was caught cheating? It is not his fault. Some players might shine in this Olympic game and fail in the others, people around the world are passing years in training for this moment to find themselves banned? This is unfair for them.

According to the words of the president of the Italian Federation, the green pass will have to consider everyone, both players and fans. The proposal of the Federation is in line with that of the Italian government and will consider whether to extend the vaccination campaign and possibly adopt measures to make the vaccine mandatory for its members. It seems clear that we are moving towards a decision whereby those who do not have the vaccine will not be able to perform competitive activities. My question is: what will happen when Italian players will play against other players from different federations who have not get a jab? Interesting
I believe it will be a common thing in the next couple months and not limited to spectators. Those who refuse to take the vaccine will be marginalised and their access to many facilities will be limited. France is already trying to impose this. Whenever Italian teams will face another team in Italy, not vaccinated supporters might not be able to be in the stadium unless being vaccinated or maybe having negative PCR and passing 10 days in quarantine.
