4541  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I sell bitcoin now? on: April 12, 2020, 02:24:04 PM
Everyone is telling that bitcoin is going to 3K. Every news and notifications points that the trend is going towards 3K.
Bitmex CEO is twitting he believes bitcoin could go even as low as 2100, so would it be better to sell my bitcoin now and buy for 50% cheaper?
Seems like everybody are trying their best to decrease the price, it might be better to move with the herd?

Do you even believe on them? remember they are businessman and not a predictor so might they release that tweet just to upset people and possibly dump the price so that they can buy at the lower cost, remember we are heading at halving and its nearly happening so expect more fuds comes just to confuse people for their personal gain.

But if you want to secure sell it now and see on what happen in future.
4542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here dream of achieving their financial goal in life through gambling? on: April 12, 2020, 12:40:51 PM
I think it's very stupid to dream of financial freedom by gambling! It is a very risky activity, where people lose their money more often than they earn it!
It's better to succeed in some other business...
And leave the gambling for fun! Wink

I think all of us had this idea about achieving financial freedom through gambling in the very beginning of our gambling career. But then, the more you gamble the more you realize that there are only two options: you can gamble for fun, making very small bets, never risking more than you can easily afford to lose, or you can try to earn big money, making high bets, and risking practically everything you have. And most of us grow up, so to speak, and choose the first option. A grown person will not make stupid moves like risking everything. But some of us don't grow up and keep living in a Peter Pan world, where gambling can make you rich. That would be funny if it weren't so sad.

Although majority of people got broke on gambling but still we cannot deny the fact that there are some sane gambler earn their richest on poker here try to check this site https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.casino.org/blog/10-richest-poker-players/amp/ and you will see people earning their richest by playing poker using their own strategies.

Poker is a strategic game where you have to follow certain rules. And if you have mathematical thinking, then you can well start making money! The same is true for sports betting...
But this is not the only gambling! Wink For example, in slots you can not build a strategy... And they can not be a permanent income...

Well for slots and or even dice you can't build a strategy for that so for this we cannot build a dream to gain some money on this option that's why if we want to follow the foot steps of those who early gain some richest for their gambling passion then we must follow them on what games they play and study on how they do it to learn from their style of gameplay.
4543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 12, 2020, 12:09:53 PM
What Covid-19 has done to PH sports

Poor Philippine Basketball Association. Already deprived of what could’ve been a grand celebration of its 45th anniversary, leading to a bigger Golden Year five years from now, it looks like the country and Asia’s oldest pro league has been forced to a two-conference format.

https://www.manilatimes.net/2020/04/12/sports/columnists-sports/what-covid-19-has-done-to-ph-sports/712714/

The adjustment is necessary as Philippines right now is still under lock down, people are in luzon are under enhanced community quarantine, and that's where the capital of Philippine businesses, so it's just right that PBA has to plan its future.

If NBA might cancel their season, PBA is certainly gonna adjust too, and we don't know what would happen in the future yet as the covid-19 is still actively destroying our lives.

The case in philippines is not controlled yet and the cases is increasing everyday so for this the PBA management should look up for this as a ground to cancel the season since the Covid-19 is not a joke and continuing season is bit suicide for the entire team since they might spread out the disease if one of them got infected.

I love PBA but hopefully they matter the health now rather than business.
4544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russian Central Bank Admits It Can’t Ban Bitcoin on: April 12, 2020, 10:28:36 AM
The Director of the Bank of Russia’s legal department has admitted that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies cannot realistically ever be banned in the country.

Although cryptocurrencies are not exactly legal in Russia, it seems like they won’t ever be banned, either. That’s the latest news from the Russian government. Although Russia has a love hate relationship with crypto and bitcoin, what do you think about this admission? I think personally no bank can control it, but they don't admit it.

What do you think about this? If you want to read the full article, you can click on the link below

https://beincrypto.com/russian-central-bank-admits-it-cant-ban-bitcoin/
at least now government are starting to accept the reality that they cannot Banned totally the use and circulation of cryptocurrency.
and this is a win statement to all of us specially Russian that has experiencing hard using of crypto.
we are lucky here in my country that we have light treatment from the government about crypto so we can just use and accumulate without any problem as long as we are using KYC for our exchange wallets.

This is a confidence booster not only for Russians but also for people around the world who's using bitcoin and crypto and gladly they release this statements since it can create hype for people who still doubting to look after using bitcoin and cryptocurrencies for their investments.

And also this can give a good reflection to the government since the same as you I didn't get any hassle for accumulating bitcoins since I'm confident to use our local wallet provider since its regulated well by our government.
4545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would a global recession affect cryptocurrencies? on: April 11, 2020, 02:48:37 PM
This year there are many factories have reduced their production number, as many workers were laid off for a while until the condition getting better. This makes people phurchasing power decrease, most of investors sell their asset now because the price will continue to drop for long time. Recession for the community is certainly a disaster, bitcoin price will keep drop during the recession but  this condition can be an opportunity for those who want to start or want to continue to develop investment assets, but  dont expect immediate return. Because the recession will happen in long term.  It could be that the assets or bitcoin that we bought during a recession will continue to decline in value. But for long term holder, this is good oportunity.

The only running here on our country is the company who offers essential goods but the other are totally close down and its really hard for our economy to get back in shape and for sure this will take long years to recover. But actually what good thing is happening right now is we see the price of bitcoin fighting up so meaning this is a good sign for bitcoins to rise up even if it suffer from major dump due to the economic recession happened this year.

And its really a good time for long term holder to avail cheap bitcoins since when the pandemic ends and all lockdowns will be lifted for sure we can see a good pumps.
4546  Economy / Securities / Re: MintDice.com – Casino Bitcoin Investment - How To Earn Bitcoin Interest Online on: April 11, 2020, 01:20:39 PM
We provide some statistics that you can find under the account page:
https://mintdice.com/account/investment/overview

If our gambling volume increases, we'll probably create a secondary spin off thread that will track these statistics over time.

Our commission may be on the higher side but it's necessary to be able to compete efficiently in the market today. Many websites have closed their investment all together for this very reason. We'd like to keep it open to stay attractive to as many types of users as possible.
hope this plague will make your users grow...
I see more and more gambling sites appearing today, this proves that this outbreak brings blessings to online gambling sites especially casinos and online poker.

Many people grab to opportunity to create a online business especially on gambling scene these days since this is a perfect time to introduce it to the people while they are at house bored and want to find a source of enjoyment.

And I really hope to this pandemic ends so that we can go back and live our live back to normal and enjoy physical things.
4547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: April 11, 2020, 12:08:33 PM
Unpopular opinion here... I don't think the casinos should pay the employees during the shutdown.

Casinos pay employees to work, if they're not working why should they get paid? Casinos and most jobs don't care about the livelihoods of their employers, their main purpose is obviously to make money. They clearly won't be making money if they're not even open. Sure, they could continue paying their employees now and go bankrupt off the back of it. Or they could just not pay them and let the government step up to protect its tax payers.

An employer-employee relationship shouldn't mean you should suddenly start paying people to do nothing when shit hits the fan. If these people don't have their own savings then that's on them.

But if they don't show care to their employees, no workers will be local to them. If they only want an employer-employee relationship, workers won't bother to stay long in that kind of business. They also need to feel the care of their company in an emergency situation. Business is nothing if it's not for their workers. They should appreciate their work.

Plvbob0070 I totally agree with you!!! My younger sister works in casino, she is on holiday more than a month,
casino where she works is closed when pandemic started. Owner of casino is still pays them, and told them to
not worry about paycheck and their jobs, when they start working again owners expect all of them to come back
and work! That is fair! Now in time of crisis is not very nice when owners show irresponsibility towards their workers.
If someone throw me on the street now, I wouldn't go back there! People would find better job they can have respect, in good and bad times.

It's fair in the time of crisis but although employers is not oblige to pay their employers since on the other hand they are affected to but in the name of humanity for sure they can cover since they are rich and can able to support the one who make them rich in time of crisis and luckily your sister got a good employer since the other are struggling since they didn't get any support just what plvbob given on his thread.

4549  Economy / Economics / Re: Rebooting the World after the COVID-19 Shutdown on: April 10, 2020, 11:32:59 PM
Reasons the shutdown is occurring is.

#1  We failed to learn from the history of the Spanish Flu.

#2  We failed to learn from the history of the Great Depression.

#3  We failed to learn from Voltaire that paper money always returns to its intrinsic value of zero.

Whatever lessons we learn from this pandemic. People 100 years from now will forget.

They'll repeat all of our mistakes. And probably add a few of their own.
we all fail to learn from the past...
A great country is a country that will learn from this experience, but I cannot refuse you, that we will forget about the Pandemic and will continue to repeat making mistakes in the future  Cry

Because people now a days lives in YOLO life and doesn't think about the future that's why many got affected especially those country who belongs in third world section.

After this pandemic diseases who ever economically recover faster will gain a limelight globally since for sure many country in the world will keep looking forward unto them and follow what foot steps they do to rise.
4550  Economy / Speculation / Re: Historical performance of #BITCOIN on: April 10, 2020, 12:45:35 PM
Most exchanges post prices from 2013. Not sure why.

Before 2013 the only real exchange was Mtgox.

Even Mtgox only goes back to July 2010 when it was under a dime.

October 7, 2010 had a nice dip... all the way down to a penny and right back up. Less than a month later it was up to half a buck.

Those were the days. Wish I'd been there instead of just reading about it.  Grin

How I wish to know bitcoins more earlier since when I first to know bitcoins the price for that time is at $400 - $500 and yet I'm still doubting since the flactuation is so fast and yet lose my trades for early years. But when the year 2017 cames I actually see a good track which leads bitcoins to reach its ATH and might we can use this as a basis that we can still see more price pump and new ATH in following years of bitcoins existence.

Maybe doubting is not helpful since for sure we will mesmerized buying bitcoins at cheap price and earn when price is pumping.
4551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 10, 2020, 12:13:58 PM
US accusing China reproducing the virus as bio chemical attack to them but they never talk about the cure of the virus.
It's a war between this two country..unfortunately, other countries are affected, and thus far, China won the war.

That's the problem.
Instead of uniting to find the cure it is still about who is the strongest of them.
Even China want the NBA players on their side offering so much money right?
Gilbert Arenas, Lance and a lot more. Even European and other countries players.
They are making their own NBA just to prove they are one of the strongest even in the market of entertainment.

Well, as of the virus there is still no proof if it is really a biochemical weapon or just a sickness from animals.
Even the media could tell lies just to provide a scoop.
In part of social medias, they can ruined everything if they wanted to, since they are always aimed for more viewers even they are not telling the truth the can spread things and make it looks real.
Whatever causes this virus, leaders should look for the solution and set aside this blaming /pointing fingers, they can discuss things after.

Yeah its not time for blaming and pointing fingers since this time cooperation is needed to conquer this virus but we cannot really control on what's running in the minds of opposition since they used the current situation to create anger and to distablise the administration and thus is happening in Philippines.

Hopefully this virus will end up soon so that we can see our favorite players running at banging on the hardcourt.
4552  Economy / Gambling / Re: btb88.com Safe & Secure|Licensed & Regulated|Certified Fair Games|Fast Payout😃 on: April 10, 2020, 11:03:42 AM
Due to the corona virus many sports around the world have temporarily stopped, meaning players are unable to bet on their favorite teams and players.

The world of eSports however, is not affected and btb88 are offering daily matches on CSGO, League of Legend and DOTA 2 you can bet from the safety of your own home and the comfort of your own arm chair.
Having eSports matches to bet and relax in the pandemic is cool when real matches have all postponed and we have not yet known when leagues will back to play.

My question, does your btb88 casino require KYC to register or KYC for withdrawals? Can I register and withdraw money from your casino without doing KYC (I hate it because of worrying about data breaches and privacy). Thank you, btb88 for your supports from Home.  Smiley

That's what I want to ask also since for now we don't have a choice since the other sports category is of and luckily there's an Esports still running and make our boring life this days exciting, And I really looking forward to register and do a withdrawal without a hassle since KYC is not good for me since its kinda risky.
4553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: April 09, 2020, 10:14:13 PM

Maybe because most of the Filipino boxing fans are very supportive of their compatriot, me included and the fact that most of those who voted in the poll are Filipinos, no doubt that Casimero won via landslide  Smiley.

The fight will push through, it's not cancelled just postponed. Both boxers just need to survive this pandemic and not succumbed to it.

Agreed we Filipino's are extremely supportive and also gets excited seeing a countrymen fought to world class fighters like Inoue who also defeated countless Filipino such as Donaire. Im expecting the match to be good and to be able to wage money, once this pandemic is all over and everything goes back to normal.

Hopefully those two are well and not forcing to train even with the threat of the virus. We all want to see both fighters in the top of their prime.

They are out of their mind if they skill keep training at the moment, it's been the government order to stay at home to avoid getting infected, so they can't train right now, unless they have their gym in their home. There's time for training after the pandemic, and for sure, the fight will not be rescheduled right after the pandemic, the promoter are sure gonna give both fighters a chance to train again.

Well that would be really insane if they push their fighter to train outside while they already know the risk of getting infected but for sure the trainers know how to handle the situation and do the counter measure so that Casimero will not get jack off for waiting the fight without doing nothing and indoor training is for sure happening at their end. As per latest information gotten i think they rescheduled the fight but hopefully this disease will really end soon so that we can see this exciting bout featuring our kababayan.
4554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputation at stake will you stop gambling on: April 09, 2020, 12:15:13 PM
This is streotyping when a person are gambler they think bad about that person which is very wrong. A player who do not harm the others is good but if the player lend money to the other people  that is not good that make your reputation is bad but if you don't do that don't be scared to know them that you are gambler . Gambling will not determine your personality as a good person.

It is not like they are bad people, it is because of being misunderstood at some point, not all of the people are knowledgeable and critical thinkers therefore it is a must to set aside your gambling habit if you really wanted to take care of your reputation, for example is just like what I've said on my previous opinion, a politician, you have to be a good role model for your people to believe you and do the same thing to others.

Good deeds is very contagious, that is why it is important. A simple analogy is like a parent and it's child, if a parent would gamble and his kids will see it, his kids would probably do the same thinking it is good because their parent is doing it too.

I'm not sure why gambling has such a negative connotation to be honest. Traders are professional gamblers.

Trading is different in gambling, and the gambling term in the literal gambling from Trading is different. Playing gambling's risk is bigger and irresponsible because winning your profits in gambling is much lower than in Trading. The come back of your money in Trading is always there, once you lost your profits because of bearish market, eventually, if you're patient enough, it'll come back to you, unlike in gambling, once you lost your money, it ain't gonna come back unless you're lucky enough to win again.

Somehow I just think that they have similar risk since actually even by now we cannot tell if we win on our trades or win on our bets since both is unpredictable and the same we are risking our money to earn but one thing good about trading is we can recover our losses when the markets recover faster after the dump compare on gambling if we lose the money will dried up for that day and hard to recover on our next bet.

But somehow we cannot compare this since they are different category, but although I tried to lose between both of this I still gamble and do trading since it gives more challenge on my side.
4555  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: TPT - Toilet Paper Token Listed sa Yobit ano opinyon nyo dito. on: April 09, 2020, 11:01:41 AM

4556  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin set to RISE into the Halving? on: April 08, 2020, 11:22:27 PM
The most important question on everyone's mind right now is Bitcoin set to rally into the halving or will we see another dump and retest of the recent lows?

In this video I take a in-depth look at the possibilities and probabilities of what happens going into the halving.

https://youtu.be/j78WSzThEK0

If we base on statistical data on the past history we can define or see that there are huge possibilities for a rise but every halving year got different story like just what happen today where we are facing a global economic crisis to due to this pandemic disease and might this could affect the growth of the bitcoins price since as of now government globally doesn't have any solution for the said disease and if lockdowns will still occur for sure many people will get affected and those crypto enthusiast people will be force to withdraw their assets for security.
4557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 08, 2020, 10:28:30 PM
USA is still going worse and worse, thousands of people die every single day, Corona has killed more people in the past 1 month than any other war USA has fought and that says something considering USA stays alive thanks to wars. Even if they are perfectly healthy with no issue at all in 5 months, that would be September or so, bringing the league back that late would be suicide, what are they going to do about next years season if they bring the season back at September.

Just make it a 2 month thing, and then give a week break and start the new season all over again? How are they planning to do free agency, trade deadlines, drafts? All of that has to be taken care of very quickly. All in all cancelling this season without a champion is still by far the best option.

There are even no talks/updates of the league resuming this year so I wouldn't say that there is a possibility of that happening right now considering the pandemic situation in the USA. There are also news that the NBA team owners will be planning to cut salaries of their players and staff because of the league being suspended so right now is a good time to say that the NBA season is over until we see some improvements in the situation of US. Aside from that even if the league resumes I see that the NBA will go straight right up to playoffs just to make it fair for the teams who are seeded right now and not just crown the one who has the best standing just when the season has ended.

Because actually executives doesn't know on when they can resume since the pandemic is still uncontrollable by the government and if their health care official cannot flatten the curve yet might they might forfeit this season and cutting of salaries will be happen. But if they go online and play the league via online since there is nba2k available might this is fun to play and people might get interest to watch them continue to play by this option   Grin

Im sure that many of us are playing gambling since the lockdown started last few weeks ago or to the country last few months ago.
That is a lot of gambling websites but it's good because you are experiencing of different platforms and what is the difference of them to each other. The list of the gambling sited most of it I already play but others I did not a player yet.

It's so boring to stay at home without doing anything that's why I'm glad there is a casinos available around where I can play but in minimal times since we are in crisis this days. 4559  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Awesome domain raffle.io for sale on: April 07, 2020, 11:28:16 PM
Well, bro, that is too expensive, can you explain why your price of selling a domain name that cost in that amount?

If ever there will be a site owner that wants to build a raffle-related website or just want the term "raffle" as part of the domain whatever the service is, that domain name is suitable for them. Short and easy to remember that most audiences want. And since the domain name is considered as the most-used word on a search engine, with the help of some boost, it can reach the top results of all web-search engines in no time.

It might be expensive for us but reasonable for those site-owners that wants this kind of domain. Anyways, don't know what's the current bid as of this time. It needs login to Flippa I guess to check.

The domain name is not catchy at all and it doesn't even attracting for the people who want to create a business since they will doubt to expand their variety of games since the name itself focus only on raffle and I agree with the others that this price is so much expensive but who knows maybe there is a raffle fanatic who buys this at the rate OP given.
