4561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: March 30, 2020, 04:51:00 PM
Because the government in my place has implemented lockdown, many of the activities that I usually do with my friends and community have been reduced and not even at all. It is still difficult for me to accept the challenges of the current situation and I know that maybe you all have the same feelings. The stress level experienced may be higher because every time we continue to be haunted by news about events and data from patients who are infected with an increasingly severe virus, so I must admit that it slightly affects the activities of my forum including gambling activities.

Some things I can do so far are:
1. Keep positive thinking
2. Because I am not a gambling addict, I wont have a problem if I stop and do other useful things. I like to bet when I watch football matches involving big teams and when there are no matches, then I don't think I have to look for alternatives to play.
3. Hoping and praying that the covid-19 pandemic that shakes the world can be resolved as quickly as possible and we can all enjoy match after match every weekend.
4562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will crypto space look like? on: March 30, 2020, 04:24:26 PM
If the crypto market only had 20 coins, crypto would not be as popular now. I only compared it to a minimarket that only has 20 products traded, can the minimarket grow and become popular? No, that is what I think and all the altcoins circulating in the market now compete with each other to grow and become the best. This competition will have a positive impact on market capitalization.

Based on the data I got on the coinmarketcap website, we currently have 5281 types of cryptocurrency in circulation and have a role in market capitalization. Investors, traders can choose the cryptocurrency that they like and when the amount is limited to tens, I am sure cryptocurrency is not as popular now.

4563  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Old lesson: Don't rely on your phone. Always save your wallet seeds on: March 30, 2020, 02:30:01 PM
As the saying goes "not your key, not your bitcoin". Personal experience shared by the OP is one concrete example that storing bitcoin or other cryptocurrency assets on mobile is very risky if we do not have seed reserves that we have moved or put in safer locations.

I also often use cellphones to make transactions and so far I have some tips that I have done to secure or return my wallet if something bad happens like a cell phone falling or damaged. Besides backing up my wallet and seeds, I also copied them and printed them on paper and placed them in my closet. This small step may be an effort to prevent us from losing access to the wallet that is used to store or carry out transactions on mobile phones, very easily and efficiently. IMO
4564  Economy / Services / Re: 📢 Sujonali1819, 💯 Hero Campaign Management Service💯[ Available ] on: March 30, 2020, 02:09:51 PM
This service thread has proven that you are one of the many trusted and professional campaign managers. Even though you are a campaign manager who is still new so far because you only manage a few campaigns but I am sure you can be trusted and also recommended. I hope your experience and ability in managing campaigns will continue.

Some of the reviews from me for your management so far are:
1. Fast response
2. Be selective in choosing participants
3. Make payments on time (based on other user reviews).

#Continue your work, man !!!
4565  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Nearly Reached] From Newbie To Senior Member & Now OTW to Hero Member-Self Made on: March 30, 2020, 08:16:01 AM
This is a really good achievement by you and this is the result of your hard works. Just go ahead with your active work it will come soon really.
This is a journey, I am very sure that if we want to try and provide the best for everyone then we will have the opportunity to be promoted to the next rank with the merit we receive.

Me, you, and all other users in the forum have the same opportunity if they want to try to be useful users through the posts or threads they make. Many ways can be done to make you a user who contributes to this forum, its just that you need to try to unleash the potential and continue to learn things that you do not understand and finally I hope it will happen naturally without having to force it.

I wish you to become a Hero Member in the upcoming 2-3 months and a lot of success to you.
Congratulation
I am sure I can achieve it, thank you for your kind words.
4566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Difficulties In Finding Gift Projects (-1)? on: March 27, 2020, 09:50:32 AM
You dont have any negative trust on your account how this things will be your problem?
It seems that you are not careful about the trust received by the OP from DT2 i.e YOSHIE or you will not see it if the depth trust you use is 1. If the depth trust you set is 1 then you will only see the trust sent by DT1 and will not appear if the sender is DT2 except only by users that you trust or that you enter in your trust list.

For OP, there are several bounty managers who consider users who have a negative trust in their profile to be able to participate in bounty. Maybe you will be considered by a manager if the negative trust you get is not for cheating on the same campaign as your alt, but for other reasons.
4567  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best Browser to access bitcointalk on: March 27, 2020, 09:10:48 AM
The last few weeks I have tried a number of browsers to access bitcointalk.org like chrome, Firefox, UCBrowser but all of them I think are the same. I dont know why lately accessing forums is very slow and makes me feel a little uncomfortable. I think the OP question also has to do with what I feel, I have looked for a solution by installing several browsers but the results remain the same. Are there other solutions?
4568  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin explained in a simple way - feedback needed on: March 26, 2020, 09:37:11 AM
I feel happy when you can unleash your potential and expertise to help others know or understand about bitcoin in a simple way or explanation. Creating a website and facilitating people to understand bitcoin in a simple language in my opinion is the right step in building your new business.

But does someone who wants to know about bitcoin now still need a special website so they will easily understand it?
When we type "what is bitcoin" in a google search, we are immediately directed to a website like "Wikipedia" or other sites. On a website like that someone will get information about bitcoin and its technology. As for the next stage, we are also directed to reach the bitcointalk.org forum and this forum is a place where all types of discussions related to bitcoin are discussed.

This forum is a place where everyone can ask, understand, discuss, and everything about bitcoin so I dont think there should be a special website other than the bitcointalk.org forum to facilitate people knowing about bitcoin with language and simple explanations, but I am not blaming your current creative efforts and ideas. Good luck with your efforts and I hope this step can help others to understand about bitcoin. Nothing is easy and everyone has to go through stages and that is the process.
4569  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin Discussion - Corona Virus Spamming on: March 26, 2020, 05:52:19 AM
~snip
If someone finds a thread that is not useful and has the potential to cause a lot of spam posts, report it to the moderator to follow up. Is not this action we already know together and with this we can try to make the forum more conducive and clean of threads and spam posts.

Some other users might ignore the thread by not participating in posting so the thread wont appear. I believe this is the right solution and we as users should try to make this forum a good place for discussion and it all starts with ourselves before we apply it to others.

I don't think the discussion part of Bitcoin is just attacked by the corona virus topic, almost evenly throughout the BitCointalk forums.
Of course, panic is everywhere and we all want to find the best solution and some of them dont care about the effects that will occur in the forum. It is a mistake if we let them continue to make something that is not useful both in the form of threads and posts. Report to moderator and ignore threads and I am sure this will be more useful and useful than we also contribute to threads.
4570  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How does creating topics improve you a lot? on: March 24, 2020, 11:00:06 AM
sometime we missed something and others filled in the gap on our topic. This always happened and thats normal cause not everyone has 99% knowledge on the subject. There's always 1% that we dont know.
Usually this kind of thread is called a discussion thread and all people involved will complement each other so that the discussion goes one direction and with the same goal. Because none of us is perfect, it is very possible that we still need others to correct our shortcomings.

A well moderated discussion thread usually gets a lot of new lessons and opens broader insights to the OP as well as other users and the people involved are usually quality posters so we can all gain more knowledge.
4571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ask Any Crypto Question - A Thread By a 6-Year Crypto Vet on: March 24, 2020, 06:37:51 AM
I believe Raja was asking about sending multiple transactions with 1 TXID.
Maybe no, he asked why every transaction he made only produced 1txid and i am sure the Raja only wanted to know why the transaction fee did not have txid. My assumption is that the Raja question is not about sending several transactions at one time but about transaction fees that dont exist txid.

As I know, the transaction fee is charged from the total balance to be sent and if we send it to several addresses in one transaction, the fee will be calculated and deducted from the existing balance and the transaction fee will go to the miners wallet.
4572  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we agree BTC is not a store of value? on: March 22, 2020, 06:23:45 AM
Bitcoin's price movement is mostly controlled by traders in the short-term. But in the long-term, hodlers will ultimately decide the price movement. Bitcoin price long-term has been up. That suggests a growing number of hodlers. Data also suggests growing hodlers.
I would say that the price of bitcoin is entirely determined by active traders and not just most of it because the market is always active and prices continue to fluctuate then I think both in the short run or in the long run prices will still be determined by traders.

Holders will enjoy the benefits of active trading results carried out by traders today if the price exceeds the issued capital and will suffer losses if the trader currently wants a lower price. Suply and demand made by traders today will determine whether the holder gets profit or loss.

5-10 years isn't really a long term, I bet nothing will seriously change in Bitcoin - the price will be higher than it is now, but it still would be speculative and risky. If some other major crisis will happen at that time, Bitcoin would probably react just as it did now.
Agree with you, there is no certainty about the price of bitcoin for a long time and the price can still be 5 times higher than now and also can still be lower. Many things can affect the demand and supply in the market and one of them is the crisis and even global health problems such as a pandemic.
4573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Physically vs Gambling Online Using Crypto on: March 22, 2020, 05:09:32 AM
I go to physical casinos to have fun with my friends and have a bonding moment with them but, with today's scenario online-gambling will be the superior on all aspects. Since a lot of gambler's are on home quarantine online-gambling may be one of the best way to have fun or to kill time, and to gamble without risking your health due to this pandemic. Lot of people will appreciate the online-gambling now, not just with crypto but the whole beauty of it.
Sure enough, gambling at a physical casino in the midst of preventing covid-19 transmission is not a good choice and everyone is advised to stay at home so that the transmission rate can be minimized by the government or the authorities.

Some gamblers like physical casinos because they can build friendships and excitement among other gamblers there, but currently going to physical casinos should be avoided because in this way we can help the government and health care providers handle covid-19 transmission and hashtags from health workers "We are here for you and you are at home for us" in my oppinion must get a good response from all walks of life including physical casino gamblers.

I also like physical gambling places because it can create friendship and excitement among players, but I also like online gambling sites because they can be played anywhere and at any time and maintain the privacy of players and their identities. All gamblers have a way of how they should play and between online and physical gambling is just a choice.
4574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ask Any Crypto Question - A Thread By a 6-Year Crypto Vet on: March 22, 2020, 04:32:16 AM
The question:
1. Why is TX only one?
2. Will the fee go to the wallet platform or return to the Contract Creator source?
Txid stands for Transaction ID. Txid can be used to track transactions and the status of a transaction (still waiting, unconfirmed, or confirmed and received by the destination address). For every transaction you make, you must pay a small fee so that the token or coin you send will go to your destination wallet. Transaction fees will be deducted from the balance of tokens or coins you send and the amount of fees will affect the speed of your transactions.

Every transaction that we do still requires another party called a miner. The fee you pay for each transaction is the fee you pay for the miner so that the token or coin you send goes to your wallet. Transaction fees (fees) will enter the miner's wallet and txid is proof that can be used to track your shipping transaction. Please CMIIW Wink

4575  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: How the fake exchange traps newbies. on: March 22, 2020, 03:56:35 AM
~snip
I think this is an attempt that is too stupid because we can detect their efforts within a few seconds after they ask us to withdraw the amount of BTC that is in the exchange they are showing and give us a part of it.

Exactly last year when I got a PM on a telegram from someone I did not know and asked me to withdraw a number of BTC on the exchange because the account was blocked due to a ban on the country where the person was, and I believe this story is almost the same as that experienced by some other people here. Without thinking, I immediately blocked the conversation and reported it as spam. Apart from my actions, this can prevent fraud, I also dont need to spend a lot of time serving the persons fraudulent efforts. Really this is a very disgusting endeavor and as a crypto lover I must say that be careful and dont easily trust people you dont know when it comes to money.

And the exchange does look kinda legit, old domain, bots wash trading... except when you want to withdraw, it asks 0.XXX BTC deposit with which you prove you're not a bot.
You dont need to go too deep and try to see the exchange activities they show because I think this scammer attempt is something complex where exchanges are phishing sites assuming that their main efforts to get a number of btc from the deposit fail and they still have a chance to stole our data through a phishing site. Have you ever thought about this, friend?
4576  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I still need help on: March 22, 2020, 03:31:44 AM
@OP, if there is no urgent need of what you want to post, you can just simply keep making meaning posts until you are able to reach the 30 activities required to become a Jr. Member. You already have 2 merits, which makes it so easy.
Apart from reaching 30 activities to become a Jr. Member, you would also need at least 1 merit. You already have two merits, which makes it easier.
Copper members become the main solution if a newbi cant wait for a while or at least when becoming a junior member to be able to upload pictures on their posts in the forum. But for the OP it seems that there is no need to rush to buy copper members because the merit as one of the requirements to become a junior member has been obtained and it is only a matter of time and activities in the forum. However, if the OP really cant wait a moment then there is no harm in buying a copper member.

Some things that the OP should know before buying copper members:
1. 0.00454114 BTC or 28,45 USD (Oh sorry, I dont know whether this amount is specific to me or all members have to pay the same amount as shown to me on that page) is a fee that you must pay if you decide to buy copper members and you will get the following benefits:
  • Allows you to post images even if you are a newbie
  • Reduces the time-between-actions limit
  • Provides some of the same benefits as being of natural Member rank
2. Besides you get some benefits from copper members, OP should also consider the following warning:
  • You can still be banned if you break the rules. You will not get any special treatment.
  • These memberships are not guaranteed to last forever, or to offer the same benefits forever.
  • No refunds will be given.
Source: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote

My advice to the OP is not to buy copper members if there is no urgent need because besides you have to spend a few dollars then you still have the opportunity to send pictures if your account activity becomes a junior member.

I am sure the bitcointalk.org discussion forum is the best at the moment and I fully agree with your view of this forum. This forum is dedicated to the bitcoin community throughout the world and I am sure cryptotalk is not like bitcointalk.org. The bitcointalk.org forum has been regarded as a repository of knowledge or libraries about bitcoin by most lovers of bitcoin and other cryptocurrency throughout the world, so if someone criticizes without wanting to admit that bitcointalk.org is the best then I think ignoring it is a natural thing.

OP, if your criticism is related to the appearance or color of the bitcointalk.org forum then you can also try a number of solutions as shared by several users at the link below without having to compare with other discussion forums including cryptotalk.

4578  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Self-Made Senior Member] From Newbie To Senior Member & Now OTW to Hero Member on: March 20, 2020, 04:00:17 AM
good job!
Thank you for your compliment and sorry I am too slow to respond to you.

People are missing the main point about knowledge and even after you achieved this rank you said 'Hopefully I can maintain quality and integrity until I reach 1000 merit and can be promoted to Legendary.' tell me what will happen when you turn legendary?
After the merit system is implemented, every user who wants to achieve a higher ranking must strive to improve the quality of posts to be constructive, informative and quality. Because theymos implement this merit system aims to encourage users to make quality posts so as to minimize spam in the forum. and if someone is able to make a post as intended then that user deserves a service to move up to the next rank. One must be proud of what he has achieved and not have to be arrogant when he succeeded in doing it and if one day I managed to get 1000 merit and become a Legendary then I am still the same user but with some success achieved.

you are already evolving day after day so rationally thinking your goal should be thinking about new ways, perspectives, source... to acquiring more useful knowledge that will be beneficial to you and others. you subconsciously selected a materialistic goal which is having more merit and as a result, having more knowledge, so the main goal will be getting merit and as a result, one will acquire knowledge, and the system made you, and many others turn the thing upside down.
I will not say that what you say is a mistake because there is no need for all of us here to have the same perception and in this case I choose my own way to improve the quality of posts, post something useful, and I have to learn a lot because of knowledge will only increase through learning and experience.

No, acquiring knowledge was never like this, even now peoples are choosing their orientation based on the job they can have after graduation. we are becoming more and more materialistic.
I must say that the knowledge and experience we gained will affect the quality of the writing we make, therefore learning something that aims to improve quality does not seem wrong. When our knowledge and experience can be implemented in every post that we make, I believe merit will come naturally.

Please correct me if I am wrong. thank you!
Please no meaning in arguing with my right to write using an alt.
I am very happy if you ask questions and criticize me with your main account because until now I did not consider your criticism and questions to be controversial and you do not need to hide your main account to get answers from me. Wink

Hi friends, mate, or whoever you are. I am a user born after the merit system has been implemented. So if I want to be a higher ranking user then I have to try to give positive things ranging from improving the quality of posts, doing something useful and most importantly I have to try not to allow myself and my habits to make posts categorized as spam.

So far I have managed to get 453 merit and I will soon be promoted to a member of a hero if this number becomes 500 and my activity becomes 480 or more in the next 20 days and must say that this achievement is something great for me and certainly not all people want to do the same thing and you will also know that there are hundreds or even thousands of my local users who have remained in the same rank since the merit system was implemented and a small number of them have to complain about this system.

So I think you should tell me why you consider my habits to look like someone who has a materialistic goal (without me noticing).
4579  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My journey in 2019 - 2020 (Nothing is impossible) on: March 20, 2020, 03:07:24 AM
That suggestion should be a top priority when we contribute to this forum
Exactly, many others have proven it and even the number of merit received has exceeded the amount of activity. Merit is an absolute requirement if someone wants to be promoted to the next rank after sufficient activity. The purpose of implementing a merit system is to encourage users to post something that is quality, constructive and free of spam and I think the merit system has a positive impact on the forum.

It is possible that some users have different perceptions about users who have been classified as most merited, so they will assume that every post made is aimed at getting merit from other users. But if our posting habits (quality, constructive and useful) aim to actively participate and contribute in minimizing spam and other useless posts in the forum then I think this should continue and ignore the scorn of other users towards us. Are there other ways to avoid ridiculing users ?
4580  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do we classify full time bounty/signature hunters as? on: March 19, 2020, 06:39:01 PM
Some people from countries like mine live/depend on bounties or signature, I know some people that do this.
I think that is the wrong choice because until now we have not been able to target how much money can be generated in the forum through signature campaigns or bounty to meet the needs of daily life.

Should they be called freelancers, or online promoters?
I feel confident that a freelancer is a wise choice for everyone. Even if you know them, then I think you should advise him to have a real job and they can also get extra from the forum and make it extra income (if promoting a campaign or others).

And I think most people that hunt bounties and signatures are students IMO.
Students (under 16 years old) do not need to rush to think about ways to get money because it will interfere with them in terms of learning activities. A student who has been able to make money independently in my opinion the potential to become students who excel may be smaller than students who focus on learning.
