If that's the case you will need a professional recovery service to recover from your old hard drive I'm sure it will need to replace a new hard drive board or repair the hard drive and maybe the pins are stuck that prevent the disk from spinning.

Or you can buy a new hard drive with the same model/unit and take the disk from your HDD and put it on your new hard drive.

Once the HDD fixed you can now access the drive and look for wallet.dat file that is the file that you need to recover your old wallet.

Since you still have the ledger you can still have a chance to get access to your old wallet but your option is to install the Bitcoin core to your new laptop and wait for a couple of days to be fully synced. The syncing speed depends on the laptop specs but you can improve the syncing process by switching to SSD and increase the ram.

I already tried it before looking for a way to make OP_return works on the console when creating transactions in Electrum but no success. It seems they don't support it but works on payto in the GUI.

I think what he wants is to recover the wallet with balances which is the Bitcoin core wallet.dat.

Unless if he wants to recover the Ledger but 5 missing words are not easy to recover it takes so much time before you can recover your old wallet from the ledger nano.

However, if the ledger nano doesn't have balance he just wants to reuse the wallet to transfer the recovered balance from the bitcoin core wallet then he can hard reset the ledger nano and recreate a new wallet.

Have you used P2P exchange in the Binance?

It seems the other BNB are locked if all suggestion above still doesn't work it might be locked and maybe you trade recently with P2P and then you didn't release the asset?

Well, you can do that as well on Multisig wallet.
Just generate a standard wallet and make a backup of that 12-word seed and also the master public key. Now make a Multisig "2 of 2" wallets it will generate a new 12 words seed and then paste the master public key on "Enter consigner key". After successfully generated you must have a wallet with two 12 words seed phrase.


You can follow the guide from my post above to make a single setup wallet. Make sure you have a backup of them for future recovery.

The extension is not actually your best choice for this the only solution for this is Multisig wallet with 2 of 2 multisig consists of 2 separate wallets
it will generate P2SH addresses after successfully generated a Multisig wallet.

I agree with ChrisPop actually I bought shib inu when it was the first time listed on Binance the value increase so fast in a couple of hours then suddenly the price drop. I didn't expect that it will drop so fast after the massive price pump. So it is the same as what happens in the Coinbase exchange after they listed this token on Coinbase that's normal to any token/project listed on big exchanges.

However, I don't still trust any new project to invest and actually, it's hard to predict/analyze without enough data.

I lost almost -74.07% according to my portfolio with this token I'm glad that I didn't invested so much in this project but I still holding them and stick with their promise. My bad I didn't set any stop limit to avoid loss. But next time if I see another new promising project and buy on early-stage I won't be greedy if I already made even just 10%.

Based on what I understand about listaddressgroupings the returning result must be the addresses with inputs or past transactions that exist on the mainnet blockchain meaning if you use this command and the target address doesn't have inputs or past transaction it won't show anything.

For listreceivedbyaddress I think it only shows the total amount received of the target address and shows the confirmations of the recent transaction.
