4561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Dogecoin survive without Elon Musk? on: October 15, 2021, 02:18:18 PM
I think that Dogecoin would definitely survive without Elon Musk. For example, it is already surviving while Elon Musk is not doing anything to show his support for it. And by the way, Dogecoin was already surviving before Elon Musk started a big hype about it for the first time. The price was of course not this big but it was able to survive in the end. It was just no more than a meme coin, that's all.

Currently the price of DogeCoin is really stable and it isnt going either up or down. While other coin go up and down.Without Elon Musk its hard to predict that Doge can go into a pump spree again.Mostly newbies invested into this coin and probobly their patience will run out soon
I agree and this is very true! Any investor will tell you high volatile markets pose a huge risk on investments and during the times of Elon Musk constant tweeting and posting his opinions on the dogecoins project it was really difficulty to know whether doge will be bullish or bearish which meant price stability was never there. But today without much of his involvement the price of the meme coin is super stable and this is what I would look for in a coin.
4562  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin failed at $58,000 and dropped by more than $3K in a day. on: October 15, 2021, 02:09:53 PM
Now that bitcoin is about to breach 60,000 again with a couple of $100s to go could this mean momentum would have been built to push it up further and maybe see a $3k to $5k climb in a day as seen when it was bearish and this happening over the weekend makes it more bullish for me.  But this being some kind of psychological area we have to wait and see how price will react around this price range.
4563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: October 15, 2021, 02:03:04 PM
Yes Barcelona is struggling but this is not all on Koeman. Barcelona could have easily fired him last year if he was the only problem. You can place any of the top managers right now and they will continue to have poor results. Firing him if they don't do well in the next two matches won't any good for the club.
If Barcelona had enough funds to pay Koeman then I'm sure they would have done it last season after he didn't manage to win a title for Barcelona. Now the problem is, Koeman complain about getting less attention from management and that make him fail to improve the team's performance for the better. We all know that Barcelona is experiencing financial problem which forced the team to cancel its intention to bring in top players from other team and is known to make them fail to keep Lionel Messi. Obviously the lack of reliable players make the team's performance very unstable. I think this is the reason why Koeman is complaining.
I think any coach would complain if they were in Koeman's place. Another question is that this would not necessarily be reflected in the public plane, as it is happening now.

From what we saw Barcelona spent a lot of money this season buying a few players so what's the problem ?  Is Koeman restricted when it comes to buying players?
In my personal opinion, Koeman's coaching style doesn't suit Barcelona, it's good that barca is looking for a new coach in the middle of the season
Imo If we looking at Barcelona from that angle then will shall paint a picture that will make them look fine but that's far from the truth to what's happening! The main Issue that they have should be finances and as we know these players are part of their employees and if news of finances reaches them then an element of uncertainty comes in which will affect their performance as they aren't sure if their contracts are safe...it's a chain reaction but hope they find a solution to their problems.
4564  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Just a piece of advice needed here folks on: October 15, 2021, 01:28:46 PM
Hello everyone, please I really would like how you folks get pull out in a project with huge or reasonably profit locked-in.

I started trading (long-term) for couple of years back now and since then i've been doing averagely okay on whatever altcoins project I put into. But what I seem to be lacking is when to actually get out at the right appropriate time.
You seem to have an eye for the projects with the most potential and if am right try to set targets for profit taking such as X5 x10 X20 etc and once price gets here you find another project that you will allow to grow to this much.while you have taken atleast 70% of profit from each project and let the others hold.

At least, if not perfectly okay, a bit fairly okay.
Please my pull out strategy are quite poor, kindly help a soul out before it gets completely worst. 🙏

All ideas are welcome please.

Thank you all! 👍

4565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Venezuela Airport accepting Bitcoin on: October 15, 2021, 01:19:22 PM
Venezuela never disappoints when it comes to making the right crypto news. Now they have the aviation industry accepting crypto (bitcoin) which brings it closer to other countries as they are likely chances of where the planes go to or come from will have a bitcoin merchant that will be a place of exchange which means air bitcoin is going places. Am just hoping that the crypto is being used for legal stuff and not being used to paint a bad image of it.
4566  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-08-17] Circle: BitLicense Would Force Us to Block New York Customers on: October 15, 2021, 12:48:41 PM
Regulation is indeed a two sided sword, it can either help build the crypto ecosystem or break it and in this case I see the long arm of regulation which was thought to help crypto grow doing the opposite... instead it looks like its breaking it and bring all progress that has been made over the years.
Cryptocurrencies in the first instance were built to break the walls of such control and give us the freedom but now this is slowing coming back.
4567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 15, 2021, 12:11:23 PM
Raheem Sterling's latest admission over possibly leaving Manchester City could have big implications on Chelsea's transfer plans in the near future.

The England international is being linked with a move to Arsenal, with Mikel Arteta said to be a huge fan of the speedy winger.

If Sterling does leave City, then this could have a big bearing on Chelsea, with regards to the players the Premier League champions could target to replace Sterling if their attacker departs.

Federico Chiesa, who has been linked with the Blues and Liverpool in recent months, is someone that City are reportedly keen on and Sterling moving away could persuade Pep Guardiola to try and sign the Juventus winger.

4568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Dogecoin survive without Elon Musk? on: October 14, 2021, 05:46:13 PM
I think Dogecoin is just for a joke, and basically just that. But if Elon Musk sees it as a project that can make him add to the coffers of wealth, it could be that Dogecoin will still strengthen.
Might come out as a joke but the fact it the dogecoin project came up as a joke and any monetary benefit that came with it was not anticipated...was more of a consolation prize.  And Elon Musk joining in to hype the dogecoin project could be that his playing along to keep the joke / the meme king alive but overall with or without Elon musk dogecoin will be there, the crypto ecosystem is bigger than an individual.
4569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin To Buy Now? on: October 14, 2021, 04:59:58 AM
In october now i have invested around $300 to buy 4 coins which i believe can skyrocket in the future, the 4 coins i bought are new coins so have a chance to go up x100 or at least x10 in a month, the altcoins i bought are: Ariva, Permission Coin, Adora Token and MAP Protocol.
I like your strategy of diversifying your investment portfolio but do coins of today still hit x100 easily because i doubt this as there is so much competition going on with most coins to win capital investment easily for them to grow and btw its the older coins that keep showing signs of growth so I find myself investing in such.. I have also positioned myself to be less of a holder in trying to maximize my profits by taking small profits because markets remain unpredictable in the short term.
4570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: October 14, 2021, 04:48:58 AM
Christiano Ronaldo is no ordinary player. Im not even surprised with the hat-trick. He is absolutely unstoppable in banging goals.
Not to take away anything from this talented lad I want to believe that the fact the he has been put up for penalty duties has really positioned him to get some easy goals in all the teams his playing in, provided these penalties are won, otherwise open goals for Ronaldo don't easily come by maybe because his gotten older.

Quote
He is more than a footballer, he is a role model to any body that is ready to achieve in life, he always make impossible to be possible by hardworking.
Don't you think we give him too much credit sometimes such that his more of a role model too many than a footballer...

4571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 13, 2021, 08:49:47 PM

This are simply speculations,Paul Pogba is focused at the moment with Manchester United...if a possible move is Gon happen, it'll be a move to one of the Spanish Giants.

Barcelona can't take him, in Spain I think he can go only to Real Madrid.
The point is to know if will leave in January or not.
I thought most Spanish teams prefer players who are pacey and as far as I know Pogba isn't the type of player besides being a good footballer...and Real Madrid wouldn't suit his play style but on the other hand going in Germany or Italy he certainly will fit in well in these teams.

Also Van de Beek can leave in January too.
These transfers can break or make you and I feel bad for this lad for not getting his name up there to get the recognition he deserves.
4572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What if the founder of Ethereum sells all the Ethereum he has in his wallet? on: October 13, 2021, 12:09:14 PM
If he sells then Ethereum users are more likely to notice that he has sold a huge chunk of his coins, and I really don't expect this to happen because he should know better that this could have an influence of herd mentality and more people would sell but knowing that then again we now have whales in the market abd this sell would just allow more people to get on board as their pending buys would be triggered.

Btw do we still know how much he still owns that's in the public domain.
4573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: October 13, 2021, 08:18:45 AM
Yesterday had some interesting results, Portugal won 5 goals to nil against Luxembourg and this had the obvious goal scorers like Cristiano Ronaldo who scored a hattrick and broke a record as well and now some sections of social media are claiming his now breaking records for fun. And Bruno Fernandez was on the score sheet too.

Disappointing result for England who drew against Hungary.

Ukraine failed to hold on to their lead and drew and Bulgaria surprised me by beating Northern Ireland 2-1 and other results might have been so obvious.

4574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: October 12, 2021, 03:59:25 PM
Finland just had a dance with Kazakhstan and it was a solid performance for the finish who got two goals courtesy of Pukki who goes in his countries record books of the most international goals . Kazakhstan did try their level best really who played against a well disciplined side when it came to defensive duties and gave no goal scoring chances to the hosts, and with that result their hopes for world cup qualification are over.

I would advice against using such because if these guys give you the wrong signal the person that suffers the lose is you and me and not the signal provider, and let's not forget that these guys are all interested in getting our money as we subscribe for these vip signals. And btw I have come to understand that these guys usually use other people's analysis to claim they are pro traders and not give credit to the owners.
4577  Bitcoin / Press / [2021-10-10] Iran's power company warns of cuts due to illegal crypto mining on: October 10, 2021, 07:50:36 PM
Illegal cryptocurrency mining in Iran risks causing new power cuts this winter, the state electricity company warned Sunday.

Iranian officials regularly accuse unlicensed cryptocurrency miners of using vast amounts of electricity.

Illegal cryptocurrency mining will account for at least "10 percent of electricity outages this winter", the power company said in a statement carried by state news agency IRNA.

Such illegal mining was responsible for 20 percent of blackouts over the summer, it added.

Iran was among the first countries in the world to legalise the mining of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in September 2018, but it requires miners to have a licence.

Authorities said in May that "illegal" miners who usually have access to subsidised electricity consume between six and seven times more power than those with permits.

The same month, Iran announced a temporary ban on all cryptocurrency mining, a day after the energy minister apologised for unplanned power cuts in major cities.

Authorities lifted the ban in mid-September.

Iranian news agencies have reported frequent police raids on "illegal farms" for cryptocurrency.

Profitably creating, or mining, bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies requires masses of computers dedicated to solving deliberately complicated equations -- an endeavour that globally consumes more electricity than some entire nations.

An Iranian official last month suggested that cryptocurrencies could be used to overcome problems related to international sanctions imposed on the Islamic republic

4578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is heartbreaking on: October 10, 2021, 07:48:03 PM
And seeing this breaks my heart because clearly people have run out of ideas! I understand these crypto coins/ projects are open source but getting other versions of existing coins shows that we have run out of ideas which is heart breaking and unfortunately such projects wouldnt survive in the future as these will remain to be speculative for a very long time and these are created to benefit the devs.
4579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 10, 2021, 12:24:53 PM
Arsenal are going to be hosting Crystal Palace in their next league match. They haven't had any loss for four weeks. They won three times and drew with Brighton last. This is a good sign for them as they are gathering themselves up. Crystal Palace are one of the easiest opponents for them. They won only once in their last five matches. Arsenal should be winning this match by a nice result.
Crystal Palace has never been a small team for any opposing teams and this isn't any different! This might look easy for the gunners because Arsenal seems to be in good form of late but this fixture should be featured with caution because Crystal Palace tends to play well against pensived strong opposition and am expecting this to be a tough game for the gunners.

My prediction for this game is Arsenal 1-1 Crystal Palace not going to be easy goodluck.
4580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BNB be worth $1,000? on: October 10, 2021, 11:20:55 AM
Of course it will and by the way this is less than 3 times of current value so a thousand dollars isn't far away from where we are and the fact that BNb has become one of the coins that is the biggest competitor to Ethereum...demand for this coin still exists to challenge it. And backed by one of the biggest exchanges and the token burns this coin has, all roads point to being bullish so this year or next year this should be come a reality.
