4581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble? on: July 08, 2016, 09:27:44 AM
I probably would, since I feel that the government has no right to impose such restrictive laws upon its citizens.
I'm not even a fan of overly regulated gambling.
4582  Economy / Gambling / Re: Trustable Best dicing site affiliate? on: July 08, 2016, 09:26:12 AM
Crypto-games.net pays 25% of the house edge of every bet mady by everyone you refer!

Do they pay only for refereed user who lost? Or regardless whether they win or lose, thanks!

AFAIK they pay 25% of the house edge no matter if the referred user win or lose so its a big thumbs up for you plus they offer multiple currency so your referred players can play alt coins too without the need of exchanging first to bitcoins
Yeah I can confirm this, they pay when the player wins or loses and they offer decent stats for every user you refer.
But one little downside is that everyone can just make an endless amount of anonymous accounts, so you might lose your referred user pretty fast if he just makes another instant account.

Correct me if I'm wrong.
4583  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitpistol such fun ! on: July 08, 2016, 09:22:46 AM
I just played at bit pistol and made 250% return. Its quite cool I just hope they add PvP.
What have your expierences there been like ! Did you enjoy it ?
How much did you bet if I may ask?
Looks like a pretty well made game, but there is just so little info on the website, not sure if I trust them with a large deposit.
4584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wimbledon 2016 - Discussion 🎾 🎾 🎾 on: July 08, 2016, 09:19:55 AM
I'd place my money on Federer to win the tournament, think he's in pretty good shape and having watched his previous matches, I think he's most likely to win.
Not betting this time though..
4585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who really uses bitcoin? on: July 08, 2016, 09:11:56 AM
I remember filling in a few surveys for someone doing his/her dissertation on the subject, but I'm not sure if these results are publicly available already.
4586  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you put all your money into bitcoin? on: July 07, 2016, 04:34:12 PM
I've personally never put any significant portion of my own funds into Bitcoin, but even with my smaller investments, I've gotten some pretty decent ROI.
Now I do the same with altcoins which can still be bought pretty cheaply.
4587  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does anyone here give trading tips to friends? on: July 07, 2016, 04:32:00 PM
I would never give trading advice in the form of: 'Invest in x or y coin and you'll see a profit in the next weeks or months to come'. If they want trading advice, I would just recommend certain articles or tutorials, so the responsability doesn't lay with me if they fail.
4588  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which bitcoin trading platform is easy and reliable on: July 07, 2016, 04:29:32 PM
Bittrex is one of the most reliable exchanges I would say, I have rarely heard of any issues with them and they have a decent enough volume and choice of coins.
Is there any reason to pick Bittrex over Poloniex for trading? I've always just used Poloniex, but people seem to recommend Bittrex more often, how so?
4589  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you losing money because trollbox? on: July 07, 2016, 04:26:48 PM
If there is an option to hide the trollbox on the site in question, I would always do so. Sure sometimes, people will predict the right thing to happen, but most of the time it's just plain FUD & misinformation.
4590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You got enough money to create a gambling site, what will you do different? on: July 07, 2016, 01:40:24 PM
I would definitely invest in making some really nice custom slots without having to depend on Flash.
Something like Bitcoinvideocasino offers, but then with different styles of slots.
4591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble or do you collect Crypto-Currencies you earn? on: July 07, 2016, 01:37:00 PM
I just quit gambling to collect the Bitcoins that I earn. Used to just gamble my signature campaign earnings, but not doing that any more.
Gambling is just a slippery slope for me, don't want to get addicted Smiley
4592  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: largest faucet win you ever made on: July 06, 2016, 04:55:54 PM
I got a few pretty big wins from betting my faucet earnings, my biggest one being 0.015 btc.
But such things only happen once a year or so Smiley
4593  Economy / Economics / Re: How much money do you have left from your job? on: July 01, 2016, 11:40:54 AM
I usually make around 2500 euro per month and I pay half of that to taxes and social security.
Might seem like a lot of money that goes towards the government, but I get free healthcare and benefits when I don't have a job anymore.

I live in Belgium btw...
4594  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bot for android on: July 01, 2016, 11:37:18 AM
Not that I know of and if you find one, I would be extremely careful with it. Since you don't want your coins stolen from a wallet that's installed on that phone.
4595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is too slow on: July 01, 2016, 11:35:22 AM
Transactions are too slow. Will someone fix it or do we need a better coin?
kindly try to sent bitcon from blockchain wallet to other wallet, and you can see its fast or slow,i think bitcoin tranaction have faster than other transaction, esspesially paypal or banks transafer. if you still thnk that bitcoin transaction too slow, check your wallet,or change to other wallet.
Bullshit, Paypal is definitely faster than Bitcoin, it's pretty much instant. Bitcoin is indeed faster than bank transfer, but generally it can take a while until you get like 3+ confirmations on your transaction..
4596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin appears on Australian TV game show on: July 01, 2016, 11:32:40 AM
As one of the questions, or what? Like the guy before me asked, what show?
Would be pretty cool if it could be found on Youtube or something...
4597  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcocity - Down in flames!! on: July 01, 2016, 11:26:07 AM
Always just looked like a scam to me, so didn't even bother making an investment in that site.
Stay away from these HYIP sites, they all scam eventually.
4598  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Trading advise ever!! on: July 01, 2016, 11:24:40 AM
Pretty simple advice, but a lot of people don't actually have the willpower to wait until prices go up again. They see a price drop and suddenly just sell at a loss, while they should have waited.
4599  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Make a Living Trading? on: July 01, 2016, 11:23:02 AM
You need to have a huge amount of bitcoin that you're trading to make a living at it.  You also have to be very good at timing the ups and downs of the bitcoin market.

What would you say a huge amount is to make a living?

You don't necessarily need a *huge* amount, although having a large initial capital will allow you to take low-risk investments/trades and still profit a respectable amount from it. Amounts that you should be looking for varies on what your style of trading is; are you a risky player, or a low-risk, low-reward kind of guy?

Also, I'm not sure if you are comfortable and have experience in trading, but if you're not, I would recommend for you to take a small amount of money and start getting yourself familiar with it; that way, you can learn from your mistakes and not lose much at all.

TL;DR: amount varies on how you trade, and best of luck with trades. Smiley

Hey there, to be honest, my plan is to move to a low-cost of living country and make around 10k per month to spend + more to add to my capital. 20k would be ideal, but that is 25% on my capital which I'm not sure its possible so probably a 10% monthly would be a better aim.

I would like to have mid-risk trades and low-risk trades. My starting capital could be 100k or a little bit more depending on potential. Do you think it's possible to make that amount per month with that money?
In a really low cost country, you wouldn't even need 10k each month, so it would be wiser to just re-invest that profit or invest into something more long term...
4600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I wonder if Satoshi Nakamoto ever gambled before? on: July 01, 2016, 11:20:33 AM
If he did maybe he play Poker because poker is the most popular casino games.

Actually, Poker isn't the most popular game, in fact, its dying out. Sure there are big events like the WSOP etc.. but if you count player base and weigh the numbers in ratio to slots, roulette etc.. eh, nothing magical really..

But sure, he could be playing Poker right now!  Grin

I personally think that if he did gamble, then it would be dice hehe (biased opinion)
I would also put my money on Dice, if he ever gambled. Dice and Bitcoin just go hand in hand Smiley
But I don't think Satoshi was someone who gambled.
