4581  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is currently the best exchange to buy BTC with fiat with small fee? on: April 09, 2019, 08:57:50 PM
Since you want to use a bank transfer to fund your balance you will have no choice to abide by the KYC verifications. As soon a bank transfer is used (no matter for what, money in/out) ID verification is needed. And it's almost the same for cards.
If you really want to avoid to give your ID you can use sites like localbitcoin, paxful, or similar marketplace, Bisq
That's 2019, even a bank won't let you just login in a member area before verification.  Cheesy
4582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Development- how did Satoshi stay anonymous? on: April 09, 2019, 08:40:25 PM
Satoshi wasn't paranoiac, he was a cryptographer. And a cryptographer who is not able to stay anonymous on the internet isn't able to create something like Bitcoin.

There are enough tools to stay anonymous easily. So "how" isn't really the question, the real question is "why?".
I can't say myself but if I were in his shoes I would surely do the same, and never ever I will let someone find my real ID. And not because I hold bitcoins, even without it, I'm sure some people would try to get my head dead or alive.
4583  Economy / Exchanges / Re: jubiter, another bitcoin prepaid card? Is it worth it? on: April 09, 2019, 05:10:14 PM
Out of curiosity what is the issuer for Wirex?

Bitwala uses a German bank as issuer (SolarBank) for the card and account, with the government guarantee on funds up to 100k€. I complain about banks but their products are great!  Cheesy

I don't think Wirex's provider deals with anyone else
They surely do. Difficult to make a business with only 1 client Tongue
@Saint-loup

4585  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is cryptopia dead? on: April 09, 2019, 04:29:12 PM
Cryptopia will need several months, maybe several years, before regaining the trust of users. The scenario that occurred is one of the worst for an exchange. Most people have left and have no intention of coming back, they won't feel secure anymore. And among those who come back, it's just to see if they have the possibility to recover their coins and leave.
4586  Economy / Services / Re: How To Accept Recurring Bitcoin Payments? on: April 09, 2019, 04:14:44 PM
You could use the API if all the clients are using the same centralized wallet (example Coinbase) or time-locked outputs. If you use a popular CMS you could certainly find a plugin about Bitcoin Recurring Subscription There are also some 3rd parties to do this such as lightningcollect.com, BitPay, etc...
4587  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin and Altcoin Prices on the Upward Trend on: April 09, 2019, 03:43:23 PM
If there is no large amount of money that enters the market very quickly the rise will not last very long. Even if we had a 30% increase during the last days. We could even face a new crash, at least I won't be surprised to be honest.
5000 dollars is now the psychological barrier not to fall below in order to continue to create positive sentiment in the market.

@ThePharmacist

Thanks

I feel my time on the forum is over. I can't handle it anymore. Is there a way to delete the account from the forum?
Thank you and goodbye.

No dude, there is no way to delete an account. Bye!

4589  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin Beat Banks? on: April 08, 2019, 08:08:25 PM
An alternative does not necessarily mean a replacement. Because there will always be people who prefer to use this or that currency. A cryptocurrency can be a crypto/altcoin ( a currency using cryptographic protocol) but not decentralized.

Banks cannot adopt cryptos, they must deal with state currencies because that is what has legal value. Even if they decide to create their own cryptographic currency it will certainly not be a decentralized one, simply because they have no interest in it.
4590  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Now you can test your trading strategies on simulated exchange and claim rewards on: April 08, 2019, 07:34:46 PM
I like the idea the site has an attractive concept to engage people. I will surely use it myself to get fun with, I hope to earn a Niffler Tshirt Grin
An Android app would be nice to support the networking concept. Most people are always connected all the time.

4591  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bank of Ireland & Bitcoin on: April 08, 2019, 05:05:18 PM
These cases are becoming increasingly rare now, 4-5 years ago yes but not anymore. Especially for a sum of 500€ which is considered minimal.
In the worst case, the transfer will be rejected and returned to the sender. With automated processing, they won't even notice it.

People who see their accounts blocked is because they use their personal account to carry out activities worthy of a company. Often they do not stop using their bank account to buy and sell BTC, as if they had a store. A bank will not let you use a personal account to do business, for several valid reasons.

For 500€ in Europe, you're fine.
4592  Other / Meta / Re: Excessively meriting a mediocre post - rules? on: April 08, 2019, 04:23:34 PM
Since we're about the Merit system...
I wanted to deserve a post that is in the Russian forum but I have the following message that tells me "You cannot merit that post" I've never seen this message before. I ask because I have never seen anyone asking the question, even if I have searched a little with the search feature.
4593  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 2019 List Bitcoin Mixers Bitcoin Tumblers Websites on: April 08, 2019, 03:10:03 PM
I am trying to make an updated list of Bitcoin mixers/tumblers websites.
I created the list myself and didn't copy anyone. It's just that some blogs copy pasted this topic and make it their own.

I translated your topic into Russian, if you don't mind.

I have no problem. Thank you Smiley
4594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Tumblers on: April 08, 2019, 03:02:25 PM
Quite interesting. Are you sure you really used cryptomixer.us? Because it's a clone of https://[banned mixer]/
I also remember a few people joining the forum to say they got scammed by this mixer. If anyone is planning to use this service, be careful and DYOR.
4595  Economy / Speculation / Re: Everyone now seems excited after bitcoin reaching to almost 5k Usd. on: April 07, 2019, 07:53:45 PM
Excited because the market was boring for months and no new positive signal. I don't know if we can say that the bear trend is currently finished, I prefer to wait a few more days. Also, the last time Bitcoin did the same, it fell even lower than what we already thought was the bottom limit. So better to take this recent rise with a grain of salt.

Predictions are a bit like listening to the horoscope on the radio, they say random things and people are they happy no matter what the news they listened. You can say anything about cryptos and imagine any scenario by making drawings and lines on a graph.
4600  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: how to safe trezor on: April 06, 2019, 11:04:42 PM
It was just to talk about the quality of the hardware wallet materials. He just wanted to say how Trezor is solid since his daughter played with and it failed on the floor. What information do we need from him? Date of the accident, was the floor made of stone or wood, the weather that day.

@50Cents

Ledger is not jealous. You can try driving on it with a 4x4 car, the device is intact. Tested! I have to find myself a small box to buy that stays alive after a fire.
