461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is falling and BTC Dominance above 50% now..What do you guys think on: August 12, 2018, 11:53:15 AM
Bitcoin dominance happened last year just before the hyper bull run that took it all the way up to 20k. During the bull run more cash came into the crypto market diversifying their portfolios into various altcoins pumping the prices to all time highs. The same will happen again later this year so there is nothing to worry about
462  Economy / Speculation / Re: GAME OVER for Bitcoin? on: August 11, 2018, 05:33:44 PM
Yes I believe it is game over for anyone looking for a quick profit, but for bitcoin itself the future is great. The charts show that it is on a long term trend upwards and the ETF will make the line steeper. If you're looking for immediate gains then switch to altcoins and try to get lucky
463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The cheapest exchange to get listed on? on: August 10, 2018, 09:58:43 PM
If it's a waves token then it will be on the waves dex, otherwise you can try the really new exchanges that have little volume. Those will be extremely cheap, but for an exchange which has been going on for a while, try YOBIT which is cheaper than most but has a reputation of hosting sh##coins.
464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is signature apportionment always high than that of Social Media? on: August 10, 2018, 09:55:33 PM
Not many people like to do signature campaigns because it is more work and you can only do 1 campaign at a time. Imagine joining a campaign lasting 3 months and then discovering that they didn't reach the soft cap. That would be a waste of 3 months work, whereas in social media you can join multiple campaigns.
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bouty and KYC on: August 10, 2018, 09:53:22 PM
Bounty managers should know when kyc is required as they themselves will have to go through the process to get their payment. Good ones will inform us on the original post whether or not kyc is required for their bounty program, if not then stay away from those manager who only tell you at the end.
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO MAKE ICO's PROFITABLE AGAIN on: August 10, 2018, 09:50:15 PM
The lock up period is essential but will put off many investors from buying in bulk and project managers will want to gain as many bitcoins / ethereum as they can get their hands on. Good to see that pre-sale investors are being recognised as responsible for dumping, usually bounty hunters get incorrectly blamed.
467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Negative Mind Will Never Give You A Positive Life on: August 10, 2018, 09:47:12 PM
I would say that some negativity is needed for balance. If one is too positive minded then you will put too much risk into an investment which as we all can see has many ups and downs. Being 75% positive and 25% negative should be enough to ensure that you have the right strategy for investing in crypto
468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New ICOs and how to choose a proper one? on: August 08, 2018, 08:18:13 PM
Events and ticketing has already been covered by a successful ICO called viberate VIB and they have made a partnership deal with ticketmaster cementing themselves in the number one spot. Choosing a project that has been done before by a better company will not give good rewards unless the market is big enough for more than one big player
469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much time does it take to make it your full time job? on: August 08, 2018, 08:15:38 PM
As you can see in the current market it is very difficult to make this a full time job. In a bull market when everything is rising then join every bounty you can get as profits are much more likely. The risk involved is too great to do it F/T, I would say at least get a part-time job as guaranteed income and then focus on crypto afterwards
470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top cryptocurrencies in August 2018 on: August 08, 2018, 08:12:30 PM
The currencies that dropped a lot are EOS and Ripple, this raises the questions on whether they are good investments or are over priced. I've decided not to open blockfolio during this big dump, waiting for at least a mild recovery to avoid any further stress
471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the twitter insanity end? on: August 08, 2018, 08:09:40 PM
I only follow a select number of users. Some crypto that I have a vested interest in, and also a couple of trusted news channels. For others that offer amazing airdrop coins if you send them 1 ETH token, I will not waste my time on. Scams on twitter are quite noticeable as they all ask the same thing

473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEP-5 vs ERC 20 TOKENS IN LONG TERM? on: July 11, 2018, 10:41:04 PM
As ethereum is overloaded right now NEO is looking like a better platform, unless ethereum release an amazing update that will sort out the scaling issue. In the long term, both will succeed and new players like LISK will add another platform to compete with them both
474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you learn from for decent ico's early? on: July 11, 2018, 10:38:37 PM
I used to check the various websites that advertise new ICOs but due to paid content I'm finding it better to check out the ANN thread on bitcointalk. After finding a good one, check out the reviews on the ICO ratings website, and then the team + whitepaper after that
475  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Earning with BTCs? on: July 10, 2018, 07:39:48 PM
By advertising your intention to invest your 3BTC you will probably get inundated with PMs asking for your investment. Always read their trust scores before doing private trades, you might end up losing 3BTC and it's not easy to get that much in this market
476  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin prices are controlled. Accidentally or intentionally? on: July 10, 2018, 07:37:17 PM
There are new players entering all the time. At this point in time last year there was no binance and now they are one of the biggest fish in the sea. Collaborations are therefore unlikely, but they might follow each other and play the same game
477  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is 10% a week posible on: July 10, 2018, 07:34:16 PM
It's impossible to get 10% gain in btc if you only invest in bitcoin Grin Also, if you only look at high market cap coins then your gains will rise in line with bitcoin which won't give you a huge margin. Try privacy coins like spectrecoin xspec which is undervalued and starting to develop nicely
478  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be calm when the market falls on: July 10, 2018, 07:31:03 PM
It is not necessary to just pick the ones with a high market cap, if you want really high gains then you need to look at the lower end of the spectrum and look for those hidden gems. Check out Crypviser as an example, listing on a good trading exchange is imminent so a price pump is about to happen
479  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ABCC exchange with great contests on: July 10, 2018, 07:28:04 PM
Lots of new exchanges starting up this year, especially after binance showed off their $1billion profit! I think ABCC has got in just at the right time as new exchanges are fighting for traders now. The well supported and easy to use ones will survive the battle
480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO on: July 09, 2018, 09:32:26 PM
If you're going to invest in NEO then now is the right time to do it. The ATH was well over $100 so we all know what it is capable of and that it will make it's way back up there during the next bull run. I'd say it will go over $200 by the end of the year
