If you are already used to trading in crypto, then I wouldn't recommend moving over to more traditional routes, sure, there's more stability, but there is also much less potential for short term profit. The traditional stock and forex markets rarely fluctuate by more than 2-3% in a day, and you would need to be lucky to catch those, whereas cryptocurrencies typically fluctuate by at least 1-2% every hour!

Definitely don't store your crypto in an online exchange that doesn't use multi-signature hot wallets, the number of exchange hacks in recent times is staggering.
Odds are you'll eventually get hit by one if you play the game for long enough.
Personally I only move a small amount of my funds to exchanges for trading, typically less than 10% of my portfolio, and any long-term hodl's I'll move to my ledger wallet or desktop wallet.

Yea, they are extremely effective at scamming newbies and idiots, hence they are effective in achieving their primary purpose.
The signal/pump side of the equation is a front, only those in the inner circle (founders and sometimes premium members) can profit from them, whereas those on the outer fringes will be left with bags.
It is best not to play this game, you will almost certainly lose your cash.

I think that should pay attention primarily to the coins that have already proven themselves, namely from the Top 20. I like Monero, Zcash and NEO. Can also pay attention to new projects. For example, on Zilliqa and Quarkchain.
How has Quarkchain proven itself? It was only released a few months ago. Definitely one to watch for the future, but I wouldn't say it's anywhere near proven. I think it would be best to watch high potential coins rather than already proven coins if you want to see explosive growth. |
