461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Etherdelta my favourite on: February 23, 2018, 09:23:47 AM
I was using it time to time. Seems there is some problems these days.
I used ForkDelta first time yesterday, the same as Etherdelta, I had little problems but it was good.
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: TaaS — Tokenized Closed-End Fund on: February 23, 2018, 09:18:10 AM
What are the exchanges to trade TAAS token? Thank you

Liqui.io Taas Withdraws are now working as I just confirmed and tested.  Either Liqui.io or Bancor.network for a decentralized method.

The team needs to look for a better exchange and advice investors not to trade on exchanges which are not user-friendly.I guess they may be busy but a small time needs to be taken out to fix such important issues.

I also wnat some new bigger exchanges but I don't think it's that important for TaaS as others. It's some kind of buy and hold project for majority.
Of course it'll bring new investors and liquidity.

Zug, 22 February 2018 - The Tezos Foundation has unanimously appointed Ryan Jesperson and Michel Mauny to the Board. The two new members will replace Johann Gevers and Diego Olivier Fernandez Pons, who decided to voluntarily step down to optimally support the Foundation in the advancement of its mission.

The two new members of the Board will join Lars Haussmann, who was appointed to the Board on 31 January 2018. This new Board looks forward to expanding the number of board members in the near future. Ryan Jesperson will replace Johann Gevers as President. He plans to relocate with his family to Zug, Switzerland. In addition, he looks forward to assisting the Crypto Valley ecosystem and helping to further establish Switzerland as a center of blockchain technology and innovation.

With the appointment of the two new members to the Board, the Foundation is preparing itself to assist in the timely launch of the Tezos network.

Ryan Jesperson, who became a leading figure in the Tezos community in recent months, is looking forward to joining the Board at this important time for the Tezos project. «To serve the best interests of the Tezos Project, Johann Gevers and Diego Olivier Fernandez Pons have voluntarily offered to resign from the Foundation Board. They are committed to the success of the Tezos project and will continue to support its development towards a bright future. We thank both of them for their service.»

Ryan Jesperson and Michel Mauny, who will join Lars Haussmann as new members to the Board, are both accomplished professionals. Ryan Jesperson is a dedicated member of the Tezos community. Most recently he was the Chief Operating Officer at Divvy, a FinTech company. He received a BS degree, cum laude, from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. Prior to his work at Divvy, he helped launch the Self-Reliance Services initiative of the LDS Church and was an executive, turnaround specialist and tech entrepreneur in the healthcare industry.

Michel Mauny is a senior researcher at Inria (Paris, France). His scientific interests are mainly in the field of programming languages: design, implementation, semantics, static analysis and type systems. After his PhD at Paris-Diderot University, he joined Inria in 1985 and worked on programming languages, in the research group that designed and developed the Coq proof assistant and the OCaml programming language. From 1989 to 2005 he led the research team that developed OCaml.

I think many of us saw this was coming in last month. New member on board and then T2 foundation.
Poisitive new about launch, now wheels are in motion  Cool
464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets talk about waves platform -dex and token lab- on: February 22, 2018, 11:56:14 AM
I am a hardcore believer of dex and believe moving forward they are the future of crypto trading.
Waves is one of the early movers in dex but while doing my research i could not found much of the successfully launched tokens on waves platform.
Can you share the names of successfully launched tokens and their price action over the period of time.
PS Most of the coins listed on waves seems to be nothing short of scams.

Actually there are many projects based on Waves.
Mobilego, EncrytoTel, Zrcoin, Simdaq, Primalbase, Mytracknet and many more...
But if you ask about the prices of those tokens, I don't think investors are happy.
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LIF] Winding Tree - Decentralized Travel Distribution || LUFTHANSA, SWISS on: February 22, 2018, 11:23:51 AM
Could you tell me roughly at what exchange it will be possible to buy tokens.

Tokens are frozen right now.
And they will be frozen until 23:59 on February 21 (UTC)
Haven't heard anything about the exchanges so far.
As far as I know the token won't be realised on 21 of February. It seems that they will be unlocked on 23th of February 23:59 UTC time. So a few days to wait!

Thank you, I checked you're releasing time is correct. It was 21 but there is a delay that I missed.
"23:59 on February 23 (UTC)
NO MORE DELAYS!"
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [HUB] Hubii Network - A Blockchain-based Decentralised Content Marketplace on: February 22, 2018, 11:12:27 AM
wow! Hubii Network like a snail but going towards success and now HBT trading on ForkDelta with $6,375 Volume (24h).

ForkDelta is exactly the same like EtherDelta.  Smiley

Actually it is around $60k for last 24 hours. If we talk about the exchanges, I think there is definitely needed more exchanges. Maybe not top ones but bigger ones than now.
But obviously main focus is development and I'm good witht that. Waiting for Omphalos release  Cool
when i was check it was at $6,375, anyway right now HBT at $1.19 according to coinmarketcap with $59,050 volume 24h on (forkdelta exchange).
i am very glad to see thst HBT rising now with 2 small exchanges. yeah development is important but one big exchange enough for HBT.
Hope so we will be see HBT on Binance but right now Hubii Network talking about EthFinex exchange.

Binance would be perfect but I'm good some mid-volume exchanges till there is some amount of usage.
After mass adoption then I see very exchanges are quite possible.
467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DNT] District0x - 🔵 Namebazaar.io LIVE! on: February 22, 2018, 10:57:12 AM

Good they are working and letting us to know the process. And another thing is that they're ttying to expand the team.
As one said hope DNT time will come.
468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tezos discussion on: February 22, 2018, 10:50:14 AM
Regular users will likely want to dump immediately after listing to an exchange, and avoid this token in the future.
Regular users, what are those? Wink

Well, I think it's the opposite. There is so much potential and limited risk. People throw their money at real shitcoins without spending a single thought on the background. So yes, this is the opportunity to get in. And if it fails, heck, buy another shitcoin Smiley

The only thing that bothers me is HitBTC as exchange. I would like to get the XTZ out of there, but to where?

Why does HitBTC bother you? There is just IOU market and I don't think it means anything important.
Nobody knows(except some bunch of people) Tezos will be listed after the launch but I believe many exchanges will try to get benefit of listing Tezos.

HitBTC bothers me too, since they have DEPOSIT fees on many coins (partly very high) I didn't use it anymore if I have another possibility. That's just outrageous.

I'm not fan of HitBTC either but I'm tying to say I don't think it'll have affective volume on Tezos.

here we go, the lunch is going to be in the next few weeks.
i have been waiting for this update for almost a year, and now my dreams came true  Grin

We've all been waiting for the launch, hope so soon  Grin

470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: TaaS — Tokenized Closed-End Fund on: February 21, 2018, 07:12:12 PM
I have been following taas for some time now, but i still havent bought any.  i really think that it is a great project and i am just waiting for a good timing to enter

I got a feeling that you will soon find the good price because currently most of the alt coins are in red because of btc.

Yes but the value TaaS coin is nearly about 6$ and the price seems to be very high in the market, when compared to previous dividends the price of TaaS coin increased a lot.

I don't think price of this token is too high for me it's undervalued while it providing good opportunity to make good income through dividends payout. It depend on the budget of anybody if someone think there is big risk and price could go down than he should move to other project.

Considering the low supply of 8M and only small exchanges with almost low liquidity, Taas is the best altcoin for a better ROI over a long period of time

I got a few dividends paying tokens on my portfolio and I have so say dividends from TAAS is probably the best.

Can you list down a few which are currently cheap right now, I am looking forward to filling my bags if BTC goes past 20K in the next few months.I am short of btc right now but would closely follow those project to get during the dip.

Right now the dividends paying tokens I am currently holding are COSS, KuCoin, NEO, TenX and few others (have to check portfolio later)

I didn't check but there is a list on reddit about the projects which are paying dividend:
https://www.reddit.com/r/ethtrader/comments/7tx6l5/projects_paying_out_eth_as_dividends/

Also I have to say last payout was my first and I'm happy what I got from TaaS.

I missed that nws actually, thanks.
It's been a long wait, hope and I believe it'll worth. I have no intention to sell though Cheesy

Nothing changes actually, and Tezos story definitely won't end with that event. There's too much money at stake, so the parties involved will fight to death in order to maintain power.
Tezos Foundation is still holding the funds, and the Breitmans would need to finance the development with their own money.

Also this

There are multiple class action lawsuits against Tezos.

Regular users will likely want to dump immediately after listing to an exchange, and avoid this token in the future.

Do you think Tezos foundation still can resist not to give money if there is product?
If they do how long they can be stay legal in Switzerland?
473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin future on: February 19, 2018, 10:19:10 AM
Based on the information I collect and read. The best alternative coin this year is Litecoin, and I think that altcoin has a great potential so that they can follow the steps of bitcoin along their journey in electronic currency. Litecoin is an alcotek that demonstrates excellent and stunning performance in the market.

Litecoin showed good performance during the bloodbath.  I think litepay affected that price.
But I prefer more innovative projects while investing.

I'm not Doge lover or fan.
This is crypto world no need to reason for huge fluctuations.
But why some people thhings this is dog year in China and Doge will go to moon, isn't it weird?
477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Real Estate related projects comparison on: February 16, 2018, 08:23:21 AM
Great thread! When we started our project at the start of 2017 we had a lot of people tell us that ICO's are not for real estate.  I think your list proves otherwise Grin  At that time REIDAO was really the only site mentioning tokenization (apart from a white paper from MIT) and now there are a bunch.  I think you should add them to your list.  REIDAO - https://reidao.io/ (they have a new project https://crowdvilla.io/)

I've been following those guys for a long time.
As I remember they were planning ICO for REIDAO but they passed it for now for legal issues and now focused on Crowdvilla.
Will be interesting to watch...

REIDAEO/Crowdvilla is currently doing an airdrop, you can join here

https://airdropalert.com/cms/join/Crowdvilla/063b081d-df23-3684-a781-57bae12af268

Thank you, I checked.
Will Crowdvilla team will announce some experienced advisors beside real estate involved professionals?
Or it'll be just tokenized buiness, not much of technical side?
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: TaaS — Tokenized Closed-End Fund on: February 16, 2018, 08:17:24 AM
Is there anyway to interact with the etherdelta wallet through mew? Do you have an address that you can see your taas in?

I use metamask it’s easy with that. Log in to meta mask open etherdelta you will see your taas ;-) you have to then deposit to etherdelta. I just transferred Taas to metamask.....Bancor is super easy with metamask too better liquidity then ED
I use the exchange liqui everything is good except for a large commission withdrawal in comparison with etherdelta...

Liqui does hold the taas when it comes close to dividend period, so there needs to be an extra care to see that you don't do those transfers when you are nearing that deadline period.

And if you're really long term holder it is better to keep it in your private wallet with many advantages even there are some big advantages on markets.
I sold my coins and wait for the price of$ 4, maybe wait in March, if you do not have to buy on the current for two months Yes payment otherwise the price will go beyond the horizon again.
really you sold taas? that's a mistake. i don't think price will go down to 4 usd, general trend now is up and with kepler release it will go even more up.

If it goes down 4 TaaS holders will get some sweet tokens at that price. But this is the market, nobody know what's gonna happen. We saw many unrealistic decisions over the market.

It's a good buy opportunity now and anything below 0.001 BTC is cheap and once we are close to the launching of Kepler the price can easily go 0.002-0.003 btc.

I think many people are considering that. BTW can somebody tell me what will be the benefits of Kepler for TaaS holders.
As far as I remember it'll be free for a while for TaaS ICO participants(this information could be wrong, but I remember something like this)
479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] STORM Token: Earn Free Cryptocurrency[ICO] on: February 16, 2018, 08:14:34 AM
There haven't been much updates since the completion of the token sale. To be honest, The team hasn't lived up to expectations. No bittrex listing, No constant development updates, partnerships etc. Just a few updates about new team members and staffs here and there. One thing that is still keeping me here as an investor is the incoming airdrop.
Probably they are focused on developments and do not want constant volatility on news from developers. This occurs more often in recent times

I prefer that. If they have better product then easier to do marketing.
And there will be mass adoption, it will b easier to get listed on big exchanges. One by one Wink
480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 📡 ICO Transparency Monitor 💡 on: February 16, 2018, 08:11:45 AM
Huh Hi i see that the project have no new commits in around a month, maybe you require some more members to develop this great idea or maybe open it to be managed in a decentralized or democratic/meritocratic way?

I agree there should be a way to keep it active/alive. Otherwise it will go waste. They can be find some incentive ways to add projects.
