Anyone have confirmation of Saturns being shipped or is it all Jupiters for now?

I packaged more than one Saturn for sure, and yes it's respect of queue order. Also, no rest for the wicked. A load of hosting should be coming online tonight. Which means I get to leave here, and get at least somewhat closer to my clothing that' been holidaying the last few days. At least I'll have s choice of clean stuff to wear...at somepoint. Sad

Hey 'rama,

where can we get one of those shirts that marcus and sam were wearing in the release vid? those were awesome!

thats a hub i bought, they are horrible. so cheaply made and the power supply is only 2 amps! so it will only run 4-5 miners, any more and it fails. just fyi!

How do we configure our miners? Can you plug in a monitor, mouse and keyboard setup to them directly, or are settings accessed via LAN?

Exactly what I was wondering.

KNC said it would be "stand alone".

And what pool would we join to get running?

Oh boy, this'll be fun.  Huh

pretty sure its all done by lan, ssh login to the beaglebone then edit settings form there. should be quite simple really. Use any pool you like!

seems like everyone knows about ssh but me, how do you access a linux machine, using ssh from a windows (XP) machine?

Putty

+1 putty is dead simple

You switched to "selective replies" only? You missed my questions.
I did? Really?  Of course, everyone here has free will, and if anything I think people's unwillingness to selectively read and reply contributes a lot to trolling around here. I certainly don't feel the need to respond point by point to every question, and none of you should either. If you feel I've missed something essential, please hit me up and PM and I'll reply more if I agree!

In any case, I don't see any evidence on testnet of KNC mining there. Bitcoinorama made a falsifiable claim which appear to me to be false. I'm just asking him to clarify here to avoid any confusion.

Cool, but what do you want to see?

The miner that they showed yesterday and various iterations that have banked an entire 1BTC earlier.

Aside from that there is the FPGA revisions that utilised testnet.

Asking Sam he said it's not a problem, when back in Stockholm it means asking one of the software engineers for access. App thousands of coins were found on testnet as the diff is so low there, rewards were easy. Customers demand real world evidence.

EDIT: idee2013 that's not KnC. No idea.
So what you are saying is the topic of this thread is a lie. I thought as much.

At this point I think it is safe to say that KNC is simply splitting the orders up into to groups randomly, and pumping them out regardless pay cycle seeing as they expect to knock out the entire batch within the week. I don't see a problem with this although its kinda wonky that one of my day 2 orders shows "In Progress" ahead of my Day 1 Order  Huh

i wouldnt worry much, its probably just someone slowely chugging away changing order statuses. I still think they are going in order, just cant portray it properly by order status. i hope that makes sense, im tired...
472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: October 01, 2013, 07:45:07 PM
What I think is happening is people are failing to realize order production is first PAID first made- not order #.

good point.

Smiley on phone they change address with basic info..better to be careful than sorry....

really? lol, ok didnt know that. fair enough!

i think im basically the first person to order a mercury. I checked the website, then checked it an hour later and mercury had popped up. i purchased one right on the spot there.
should have upgraded, but hindsight is 20/20 oh well. I can now say i have one of the RARE mercury units. lol

What day did the Mercurys go on sale?  What are the first two digits of your order number?  I'm way back in line at 35xx, July 11 for a Mercury.  I wonder how many weeks before they get to me, lol.

mercury first went on sale....i think it was the 2nd or 3rd of july. My order number is pretty close to yours. 31xx. Yeah we are still a little ways behind but i think they will crank out a ton of units this week so it shouldnt be that bad!

screw the bfl trolls.

its funny, i actually bought one of the first jalapenos on hand a couple months back. i paid 1500 bucks, the next day i turned around and sold it for 2500 bucks.
also bought a bfl single, mined with it for a few weeks then sold it for the same price i paid. lol. THANKS BFL!

I just checked my pool account and did not see any miner connected to it hashing (and I was one of the very first people to order).

yeah same here, very first registration/preorder, 1st day of shipping and I don't have tracking number/any hash on pool acc. but as Mota posted here earlier, they told him that 1st day orders will be shipped today..so I'm sitting and waiting.)

Could you please reply with info on logging into the pool account and/or a link to where that information is posted?

he doesnt mean the KNC miner pool
