461  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade or Hodling on: February 25, 2018, 10:55:34 AM
It depends from what you like more and from your skills: if you are an experienced forex trader, when you start to trade cryptocurrencies you can really make a lot of money with day trading, with so high volatility (of course, you can lose everything).
If you don't like stress, however, it's better to hold and don't think too much about the investment.

I would just like to hear your opinions, Which is more profitable, Day Trading where you can profit through buying the dips and selling when it pumps repeatedly, or Long term HODLing where you buy the dip and only sell it when it goes up 5 to 10 times its price value?

462  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading FOREX or Crypto? on: February 25, 2018, 10:52:04 AM
Well, if you complain that forex is unpredictable, then you'll find cryptomarket completely crazy!  Cheesy
Forex market is very stable, there are a lot of services that provide the right news, and with good technical skills you can achieve a good success.
In crypto, the movement are so unpredictable that sometimes it's just gambling.

I need some help.

I already have experience trading FOREX but until now im not that profitable. The market of forex is very UNPREDICTABLE. technical and fundamental analysis are not really working. Market makers and bank institutions are controlling the market. its centralized and big banks can manipulate the exchange.

Im planning to leave FOREX and switch to CRYTPO trading. Does anyone know who controls the bitcoin price? is it still the government or the whales trader?

463  Economy / Economics / Re: Crisis is Coming on: February 25, 2018, 10:45:29 AM
There are all the time "prophets of doom" that announce all kind of disasters and cataclysms, non necessarily financial ones.
Actually, economy - and much more stock exchange and cryptocurrencies - is based on "trust" much more than on concrete data.
So, it's normal that periodically investor lose their faith in the system, or - on the contrary - become enthusiast about something.
And this depend from big manipulators do.
464  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: job and trading together.. on: February 25, 2018, 10:39:52 AM
Everyone here would have the right answer!
Btw, out of common advice - check the market, study the chart, read the whitepaper, etc - the most important things to evaluate are:
-how much money can you lose without enter in trouble
-how much time can you dedicate to trading

If you don't make this initial analysis, there is the big risk to have bad surprises.
465  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we totally eliminate all the banks in this world? on: February 25, 2018, 10:34:54 AM
Theoretically, in the case of a massive acceptance of bitcoin by general public, banks would become useless, at least in the form we know today.
But they form a so influential network, that I'm pretty sure they will find a way to keep their position of power.
466  Economy / Economics / Re: What happens when there is NO electricity? How does one trade with BTC? on: February 24, 2018, 11:55:27 PM
Well, it's true that bitcoin can't work without electricity, but neither the bank system could.
Actually, if tonight electricity suddenly stopped, I'm pretty sure that there will be a LOT of trouble in every field.
But, actually, as bitcoin can work just by the phone, paradoxically it's more resistant than banks!
467  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC is a roller coaster on: February 24, 2018, 11:47:46 PM
Bitcoin is a roller coaster, and this is exactly what makes it so attractive to experienced trader.
For the newbies this continuous up and down could seem completely random, but actually it follow some precise rules - explained by technical analysis - that allow to predict with good precision the market movement.
And to earn a lot or money.

469  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: February 24, 2018, 11:19:58 PM
Of course bitcoin reduces unemployment: it seems that all the unemployed of the world have joined the bitcointalk forum and do nothing but writing shitposts all the day just to earn some little cash!

Out of this - tragic - aspect, I don't see in what other ways bitcoin can help with unemployment: it's just a coin, that's all.
470  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: February 24, 2018, 11:07:15 PM
What a lot of people seem to not understand is that - by its own philosophy - bitcoin is against banks and governments, because - if it will succeed - it will make them to become obsolete.
The main reason for the existence of a country it exactly the authority about money.
Without this power, a government becomes meaningless.
471  Economy / Economics / Re: Do bitcoin millonaires deserve their wealth? on: February 24, 2018, 10:41:54 PM
Exactly. To ask if millionaires deserve their wealth - in bitcoin of in dollar or whatever - is putting judgement and envy.
And don't forget: may be we think we are very poor, but if we are on this forum it means that we have a calculator, electric energy, we had education... so, there are at least 2-3 billion of people that can ask if WE deserve our riches....

1. Do people who were born in rich families deserve the money?
2. Do people who won lottery jackpot deserve the money?
3. Do people who found hidden treasure deserve the money?

etc. etc.

Don't envy others their riches or status, focus on yourself and think how can you help your luck.
Do you think that bitcoin might be worth $1 million or more in the future? Then it is not late for you, as you can be a millionaire someday.
Or instead supporting Bitcoin you will watch as the price will grow and complain in the future that people who joined the train earlier are lucky and don't deserve it?
472  Economy / Economics / Re: Know Your Customer on: February 24, 2018, 10:18:32 PM
It's very disturbing, and it's against the philosophy of cryptocurrency (crypto=hidden), but unfortunately this is the trend and probably very soon it will be illegal to make anonymous transactions.
Of course it will be still possible, but it will become dangerous.
473  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: February 24, 2018, 10:15:25 PM
It's an old question, and - talking about ten years - I'd choose gold, without any hesitation: gold is used from 5000 years, bitcoin from 9. Sorry.
Of course, gold it's not an investment. But, in ten years, I'm pretty sure it will keep its value.
Bitcoin, may be it will gain 1.000.000%, may be it will arrive to zero...
474  Economy / Economics / Re: How would Bitcoin react to a global financial crisis? on: February 24, 2018, 10:04:30 PM
Well, in a very big crisis, if the internet will still exist, probably bitcoin will be safer than fiat money, as nobody could take the control of the blockchain.
Of course, in case of thermonuclear war, if the civilization end... well, I don't think that money will be the main problem...
475  Economy / Economics / Re: Positive thinking brings positive things. on: February 24, 2018, 09:50:32 PM
There is a big misunderstanding about positive thinking: lot of people believe that it's about to be optimistic in any situation, but it's not true:
POsitive means simply to focus on POtential, on what it's POssible, on what gives you POwer... these words have all the same root.
So, positive thinking is about REALITY, not about daydreaming!
476  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: February 24, 2018, 09:38:57 PM
Of course, nobody likes to have losses, but they are a normal part of the activity of a trader, so you need to learn how to face them.
The real secret - from a psychological point of view - is to focus on the global result, and to consider what happens in the moment just temporary.
So, even if you have a big loss, don't enter in panic, and take it just as a momentary episode.

477  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: February 24, 2018, 09:22:30 PM
At present, it's impossible due to practical reason. In the future, may be.
But what a lot of people don't understand, is that bitcoin - as philosophy - is AGAINST governments and banks, so I?m pretty sure that will be a bloody war in the next months. We'll see.
478  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I dont like daytrading on: February 24, 2018, 09:18:54 PM
Well, lot of people don't like their job, but they still go to office daily.
So, even if you don't like daytrading, it's not a good reason to stop it, if it allows you to make a decent profit.
Eventually, when you'll have a good reserve of money, you can stop daytrading and pass to long term investments, that - for sure - it's less stressfull.
479  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: [INFO] +MERIT.
