461  Economy / Economics / Re: lest we forget, Bitcoin is a blessing. on: February 17, 2018, 06:51:52 AM
Bitcoin has pass through many stage, limitations, attack and forks issue but its price keep on increasing from inception till now. At this time Last year bitcoin price was $450 but today it is $1245 that was over 180% increment in just a year. This is what we call blessing, that is making progress in the face of strong opposition!!
For me it is a blessing  it helps a lot and it's one additional  of my monthly income help pay it but some of my needs in life

We should be glad that bitcoin price is now stabilized at $10k after those bloody weeks of downfall as this will encourage the investors to invest in this phenomenon digital currency. Although the volatility is always attached to bitcoin price as the price is subjective to global issues about cryptocurrency. We should be patient and hoping that this progress will continue to climb back to all time high and all of us be beneficial to the fruits of bitcoin success. A blessing indeed.
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The way to deal with a massive drop is to buy more during low prices. on: February 06, 2018, 10:36:27 AM
Now you can buy a lot of coins at a low price and in the future sell them well.
But this requires money, and where to get them, that's the question.

By having a job? By not day trading professionally? Grin

Of course, depends on how much you're willing to invest.
I joined some airdrops and bounties and sold the token for x eth, then i used it to bought more promising coin. easy money  Wink
Very smart strategy in making money. Nothing to lose since your investment capital are from bounty rewards if the price will continue to dip and you can make fortune once it bounce back to the best price.
463  Economy / Economics / Re: is it a bubble? on: February 05, 2018, 03:14:14 PM
many people say that bitcoin bubble, honestly I still do not understand what is meant by the term bubble earlier?

until now I am still curious

They called it bubble because bitcoin drastically increases its value in a short period of time and predicted that it will collapsed because the spikes of the value is only a results from speculation and manipulation of market behavior. Until now the bubble didn’t burst and bitcoin is still functioning.
It is pure FUD from the people against bitcoin spreading wrong information to knock-out bitcoin existence.
464  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dream house and financial freedom on: February 05, 2018, 02:36:21 PM
We are here for a reasons and dreams, I'm hoping that i can get a good profit in here just enough to sustain my financial needs and a little savings for my future. Although, it needs dedication and handwork which I'm willing to take every possible opportunity in exchange of good profits.
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we have a price drop? on: February 05, 2018, 12:04:09 PM
I just don't understand why it is so big deal if the market crash because this kind of crash happened every year. If you invest in a long term, it will not affect you so much. The only affected here are the newbies that buy in an all time high last year and it is just a paper loss because we all know that the market will bounce back any moment this February.
Yeah I got your point, but take note that there's no assurance that the price will bounce back this February considering a Chinese New year will come and the possibility that the price will go down is high.
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency on: February 05, 2018, 09:43:02 AM
Seems like most people just want to become super rich in a short period of time.
If you don't believe in this new technology, and just want to earn quick money, I think you will probably not achieve what you want.
All I want to say is be patient, live your life, and don't get too emotional by all the negative news/FUD. Yes, crypto might be ended in a really bad way and you lose most/all your money. But if you truly believe in the new technology, just invest the projects you like the most and hold until it gets mature and returns.

Yeah I got you. I truly believe in cryptocurrency the way it was being invented for the real purposed. People should realized that investing in crypto is too risky due to volatility as a results in supply and demand, you may end up lose your money.
If you want to take part in crypto you need knowledge and patient to wait for the right timing so you will be profitable.
467  Economy / Economics / Re: You're not wealthy yet, so you're not allowed to be wealthy on: February 03, 2018, 10:19:26 PM
The rule that only accredited investors, which means people who are already wealthy, are allowed to participate in certain ICOs is senseless imo. It's like saying "YOU'RE NOT WEALTHY YET, SO YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO BE WEALTHY." Stupid society, with obsolete rules, we're living in.

Disclaimer: I'm not a US citizen, and I've not read that law
That's the reality. Life is not equal. Being a poor you must need to do more than to prove that you are intelligent enough to be in the society of rich people.
In the ico, the rich people are always a priority to the organizers while the poor people can only join if the hard cap is not yet reach.
468  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: February 03, 2018, 09:20:36 PM
I do not think so.
It may be more appropriate to reduce poverty and prevent people from becoming poor even though I think 50%.
To plunge into bitcoin world we need to have some access like cell phones and laptops, if it can end poverty, from where the poor can get it ..? whereas to eat just hard ..
Yeah I agree, bitcoin can only helps those people who are willing to do there part but not all here will become rich. Just a little a percentage of the poor has access online plus to add the knowledge.
Fighting poverty needs a strong government to build a long term plan thru education.
469  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next: $7,500 support on: February 02, 2018, 12:28:03 PM
They call it a support to ease the pressure of the holders not to panic. If we going to analyze the graph, a big numbers in the selling side that makes the price go down. If those people will continue to sell then the $7.5k support will break until they are contented with the price. A good chance to buy.
470  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is is still a good time to Invest in Bitcoin? on: January 30, 2018, 01:20:20 PM
Yes today will be a good opportunity to buy bitcoin as it's still stabilize at $11k mark after those big dip. Next month this price can move up to $13k. Who knows by mid year another bull run will happen same as last year. Buy now and hold for a great profit.
471  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to hit again 20k USD on: January 28, 2018, 09:48:26 AM
Yes it is. probability by 98%
"In five years, if you try to use fiat currency, they will laugh at you. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will be so relevant ? there will be no reason to have the fiat currencies?―Tim Draper, billionaire investor and Bitcoin owner.
And here is one way why hold bitcoin, Its price has surged to about 583,170,000% of its May 2010 value. That?s when Laszlo Hanyecz paid 10,000 Bitcoins for two large pizzas, which were worth about $30. That puts Bitcoin?s 2010 valuation at around $0.003 per coin (about one-third of a penny each). History may repeat itself and the price may continue to surge. So shall we buy more?
Yeah I agree, this will rise to $20k or more for this year. We are waiting for that to happen as a repeat for last year bull run. After those bleeding due to FUD and panic selling a new bright year for bitcoin to come. Hold
472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tactics When Market is Falling on: January 27, 2018, 06:06:06 AM
Hi all,
I am a relative newbie but have remained pretty calm during the difficult last week or so. The markets are falling significantly again, is this still relatively normal and is the best advice just to HODL? Moving forward I think I will set stop losses on all holdings to protect my capital against falls like this.
Thanks
Yeah keep calm, just hold your coins and wait as it will bounce back to the best price and gain you much profits. Wait the right time.
473  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: January 21, 2018, 02:14:58 AM
Yes of course price of bitcoin really matters in crpytocurrencies. As bitcoin got the dominance in cryptomarket his price really affects all coins. It's because traders uses bitcoin as pairing to other coins.
474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitconnect to the Moon! on: January 20, 2018, 09:16:44 AM
The title alone is misleading.
Honestly, investing in crypto has a high risk since we don't know if it's a scam or not. Doing some research on the ico should be necessary.
People are always thinking about big profit....then in the long run they lost there money due this type of people taking advantage.
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can myetherwallet get hacked? on: January 19, 2018, 09:07:20 PM
The myetherwallet is not hackable. The problem is on the users side on how they use to access their funds online. Do not input your private key if you will check your funds and don't give it to other sites or person your private key. Beware of phishing.
476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why all coins are dropping? on: January 19, 2018, 02:22:43 PM
any body know the reason for current drop?
It was a results from bad news from China and Korea they closed there exchange and banned cryptocurrency.
The high volume of coins they dumped takes 2days to neutralized by the world market. To add also the panic sellers who dumped there coins.
Today might be a starting point for all coins as it turns green un the market charts.
477  Economy / Economics / Re: how can the beggars access Bitcoin? on: January 18, 2018, 10:26:36 AM
If all paper money were change into Bitcoins, can it be access and use by everyone? how can the beggars access Bitcoin?
Beggars can also level up and have a smartphone, he can display his QR code while asking help.
Here in bitcointalk I read some post asking donation for personal needs and display there wallet address. It's same as beggars in the streets.
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETHEREUM WILL WORTH $10000 on: January 16, 2018, 11:25:35 AM
If you follow the uptrend from Ethereum chart 📈 from January 2017 till now, you will see that ethereum as done nothing less than x110 of its current value as at 1st February 2017.

However, should ethereum repeat this feet in 2018 then it will be $132000/eth in twenty 2019.

Calculation:
1st February, 2017
Ethereum Price/$
1ETH = $11

10th January, 2018
Ethereum Price/$
1ETH = $1200

$1200/$11 = x109.091

If continue this uptrend in 2018 of which as started already and return another x109.091 by January, 2019. Price/ETH will be $132000/ETH.

I think if happened last year, it can happen this year, buy at least 1 ethereum and hold.
[/b]
In my opinion, the value of ETH is dictated by supply and demand. How the dev react and provide solutions to some issues.
If your analysis is correct.. Then all of us are millionaires but It's not the way it is.
The market is unpredictable.
479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I need an opinion on rejecting a job offer or crypto on: January 15, 2018, 02:32:33 PM
I have opportunity in overseas job around 1000 usd. but my mind now not in a stable manner.

In my opinion, $1k usd is good offer for me. I will grab that opportunity and have a good career on them.

480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best exchange for beginner? on: January 15, 2018, 12:40:04 PM
Binance is good for me. You can watch tutorials at youtube.
Although not all tokens are available at binance exchange but it's more users friendly and easy to use.
