461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CryptoKitties live and NovaBlitz on it's way - how many other games on Eth? on: December 10, 2017, 10:52:24 PM
These games are one of the best things to happen to Eth.

The sooner we push it to the limit the sooner we will see rapid adaption and evolution!

More Crypto Fuzzballs!  More NovaBlitz!

I agree, Cryptokitties has shown that it cannot cope with the high level of volume without major issues so I think this will at least refocus their attention on improving the network.
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the price of Bitcoin be above or below $12,500 at the end of 2017? on: December 10, 2017, 10:45:54 PM
It will finish around $20,000 I always thought $15,000 but this has been passed already, may $20,000 is asking a bit much with only a couple of weeks to go but If the futures taken into account, maybe new money and attention will push it back up.
463  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin.com CEO Says Futures Will Drive Up Bitcoin Price on: December 10, 2017, 05:42:51 PM
Maybe it will, maybe it wont nobody knows but I think the price has a good bit further to go before it starts to drop a significant amount.
464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is really great on: December 10, 2017, 11:17:26 AM
Definitely $20,000 is looking good for the end of the year, bitcoin already would have helped out a lot of people that would otherwise have no way to make serious money, especially those that were involved in bitcoin back when it was just starting, I would like to think that many ordinary people would have become rich due to bitcoin.
465  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: your mentality after a huge loss? on: December 09, 2017, 11:44:33 PM
What do you do after you suffer a huge loss?
If you have more money would you again take the risk and invest or would you just stop trading and try to earn in some other way?
I would and have learned from what happened and next time try not to do the same thing again, for me it was panic selling, lesson has been learned which took some amount of time but I think I am almost there.
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I sell my ETH to buy BTC?? on: December 09, 2017, 08:54:24 PM
You take your ETH and buy some kitties and sell them on the market after pimping them out lol I wouldn't sell my ETH to be fair just in case, I don't want to be the one who sells and then misses out which has happened before.
467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If a friend ows you 0.1 Btc from Dec 2016 ... on: December 09, 2017, 06:40:31 PM
If I didn't get it back by now the I wouldn't have needed it, it depends on the friend really and what type of friend they were, but I wouod definitely say to them hey remwmber that 0.1.....?
468  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know when to sell? on: December 09, 2017, 12:18:53 PM
Another thing to do is take your personal situation into account, do you need to cash out, are you sacrificing anything by holding, should you maybe take some profit and leave the rest, these are important things to consider also.
469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will IOTA Moon Again? on: December 08, 2017, 06:23:47 PM
I think Iota might go a lot higher if their trial with Microsoft and Samsung works out, whether it will maintain a higher price is another question.
470  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinpayments charging $9 USD per withdrawal on: December 08, 2017, 11:11:50 AM
Mycelium also was set at $9 for a $100 transfer which seems crazy, you can adjust it in certain wallets or exchanges but then you would be waiting forever, I have some receiving for the past 16 hours as someone must not have liked to pay the higher fee, really frustrating.
471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if a person died with BTC!! on: December 08, 2017, 11:09:01 AM
I think people should seriously start thinking about how they will leave their bitcoin and crypto to their family if anything happened to them, in the same way one would leave a will, perhaps leaving the private key within the will might work?
472  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Bitcoin Cross $50,000 on: December 07, 2017, 11:04:11 PM
Bitcoin is going high with the speed of light. Its not too far when bitcoin will cross $50,000. The question is do you want the bitcoin to cross $50,000 in 2017 or in next years?
It would be great if it would get to $50,000 by January, it will keep the attention and momentum it has had recently, I wonder how many strong hands will continue to hold when it gets to that level.
473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin surpasses $19,000 on Coinbase! on: December 07, 2017, 07:15:03 PM
It has gone absolutely crazy this week, maybe it getting added to futures market on Sunday has a part in it but not sure if it can go much higher without a dip.
474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do we need more BTC forks? on: December 07, 2017, 05:33:40 PM
We don't really need any fork of bitcoin unless something goes really wrong, all these forks have just been a way for people to ride the bitcoin wave and make a quick buck, there are three or four this month none of which will be around next year.

475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the hell are Crypto kitties? on: December 07, 2017, 11:25:43 AM
Had a look and have to say kind of addicted now to breeding these cats and trying to get the right trait, the rarer the better Smiley
This is a good test for the network and shows that it cannot cope with this level of transactions, hopefully this will prompt the next generation of ETH.
476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are The Banks Scared of Bitcoin? on: December 07, 2017, 07:47:30 AM
The only thing that bugs me about bitcoin is the way they are mined, I would like to think that Satoshi when putting this together had the thought that everyone could mine bitcoin and not just a few with deep pockets.

I think the banks are annoyed because bitcoin shows that we could survivr without banks and this scares them, they will need to enter into this space and drastically change the way they work in the next couple of years or they will have serious trouble keeping afloat.
477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NiceHash The Mining Service Got Hacked And Lost 4,450 Bitcoins Worth 60 Million on: December 06, 2017, 10:38:21 PM
Definitely smells like an exit scam.

I think so too.

Actually I think we will see a drop in bitcoin price when this news reach the mainstream media.

What just happened does not show the perks of a secure and safe currency.
I think it shows more that companies that hold people's bitcoin need to ensure that they are taking the right security measures, it baffles me how a company of this size and good reputation was able to be hacked and lost 4,000 + bitcoin, something is amiss.
478  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is now $13k, what's next? on: December 06, 2017, 05:35:43 PM
$15,000 was always my estimate for the end of the year and it looks like we will get there if not  pass that completely and hit the $20,000.
479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long-term investment with Bittrex! on: December 06, 2017, 05:33:38 PM
You will to go through some verification at some point to withdraw your funds so why not just do it now unless you want to withdraw tiny amounts each day.

If you are looking for just one coin then maybe Litecoin would suit you.
480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Price drop hard, Why ? on: December 06, 2017, 04:02:28 PM
There is a lot of congestion and the Cryptokittens game has a lot to do with it but we shouldn't blame Cryptokittens for using Ethereum as it was intended to be used.

Fair enough these are cats that are being traded but it runs along the same principle as anything of value and the ownership being transferred from person to person, this is the first time something like this has been testing the network and so far the network is struggling, imagine if there were just a couple of similar trading games or auctions happening, it would bring the network to a standstill.

If anything this should prompt a refocus on the ETH scaling situation.
