So, yesterday I created a new wallet and sent 1BTC on it. The problem is that I did something wrong when typping the password and I can not send funds from it now. Is there any possibility for me to bypass the password ?

Ich brauche drinegnd eure Hilfe.....Habe vor 5 Tagen eine Transaktion durchgeführt ( 15 BTC ) die aber seit 5 Tagen unbestätigt herumhängt.Bei Blockchain ist sie aber gelistet ( kp ob das für einen von euch eine Rolle spielt ).Neben der Transaktion steht jetzt ein gelbes Warnschild und daneben LOW FEE ( Electrum ).Das komische daran ist das dass wallet die gebühren doch automatisch berechnet ...Wie kann es dann zu so einer Situation kommen .
Falls mir da irgendjemand weiterhelfen kann oder jemanden kennt der dies kann würde ich bei behebung des Problems 500Euro in BTC überweisen .

No 26k 50 sat / byte transactions got confirmed today.[1] Which also suggests that 50 satoshi per byte is still a reasonable fee if you have time. How can I get the transaction sped up?

habe das Java Programm gestartet, leider ist es nicht selbsterklärend und eine verständliche Anleitung in Deutsch habe ich auch nirgends finden können, wäre toll wenn Du mir damit weiterhelfen könntest.

You can have different wallets use the same data dir, by passing -wallet=wallet.dat on launch. This will significantly increase your startup time whenever switching a wallet though.

Das ist faktisch nicht zutreffend. Es gibt 296 private Schlüssel. Kein einziger davon Dein oder mein Eigentum.
Faktisch und juristisch ist ja nicht das selbe, siehe z.B. illegale Primzahlen. Aber angenommen Du kennst einen davon: Der LBC ist genau an den anderen 296 - 1 interessiert. Wie könntest Du diese auch für Dich a priori beanspruchen wenn Du sie noch nicht einmal selbst kennst?
Genauso wie sonst auch. Menschen beanspruchen alles mögliche als ihr Eigentum ohne es (genau genug) zu kennen. Ist der Mond nicht sogar schon Parzellenweise verkauft? Ich bin ja durchaus deiner Ansicht, es geht mir lediglich darum das einem durchaus rechtliche Konsequenzen drohen könnten. Über die Brücke kann man aber wohl auch gehen wenn es soweit ist. Geht doch jetzt auch schon, mit Multi-Sig, 2-2 entspricht dann 320-Bit, 3-3 480 bit, etc. Überhaupt checkt der LBC ja "nur" die Version 1 Skripte, keine kleine Untermenge aller möglicher Skripte. Für wenn das Projekt also ins Bedrohungsscenario gehört, der kann sich entsprechend absichern. Für die meisten wird das aber hypothetisch bleiben.

I think i found the problem.I sent a payment to a company that uses bitpay and i now realized i had my wallet on the payments settings set to blockchain.info.
Now i set it to bitpay, closed and opened again the wallet, will it be able to send the money? or will i have to do something else?

Next time you try and change your avatar but it doesn't seem to change, force your browser to clear its cache. On Chrome, you can do this by pressing F12, click + hold down the refresh button, and then select the "Force hard reload" (or something along those lines).
Just use ctrl + f5 instead of f5. |

if you already have available btc to pay the fee better to pay it,its much cheaper to pay the fee than rent on a computer shop.
I do think that renting a computer on a computer shop is much cheaper since based on his location, he lives on Philippines and renting a computer is much cheaper that only cost 15pesos an hour or 0.3dollar per hour. The fee used to be low enough that you could remove it by grinding faucets. That might have changed considering the higher price of bitcoin and its fees now though. Maybe Creepings can tell us how much is asked? |

Anyone can guarantee for using these service? I mean, how if site got hacked  To be safe It is highly recommend using this software on a computer that is offline, and stays offline. That wouldnt help against all attacks. E.g. the code could be altered in a way to use only a specific section of all possible keys. Thus they would appear random, while they not actually are. If you want to make sure you are not fucked, read the code or trust in others that have done so. |

Eine Alternative Sichtweise wäre die folgende: Wir alle (mich eingeschlossen) haben Teile unseres Eigentums in eine Teilnahme an einem öffentlichen Spiel - "Bitcoin" genannt - konvertiert. Bei diesem Spiel werden Rechnungseinheiten hin- und hergeschoben und wir vertrauen darauf, dass die Mühe in 2^160 öffentlich einsehbare Schubladen so groß ist, dass dies niemand tut. Wenn doch, haben wir u.U. Pech gehabt.
Ich seh das zwar auch so, crypto muss gut genug sein das es nicht möglich ist, kann man aber doch mit 202(a) argumentieren. Denn, der private Schlüssel für "meine" Bitcoin ist ja nicht für dich bestimmt. Ich denke es hängt also stark vom Richter ab wie sowas ausgehen würde. Ich hoffe, wir haben irgendwann echte 256bit Adressen oder sogar echte 512bit Adressen. Funds auf diese zu schieben wäre vielleicht etwas teurer (Transaktionsgröße), aber das wären dann eben "Tresoradressen". Bei einem globalen Gut wie der Blockchain sollte man sich tatsächlich mehr auf technische denn auf juristische Lösungen verlassen. Das werden Juristen sicher ungern hören und sicher auch eine eigene/andere Meinung dazu haben, aber das ist ja deren gutes Recht. Firstly contgratulations. This is quite 'interesting' if you look into: 1) Events that unfolded at the time that the user registered on this forum. 2) Their past history on bitcointalk.
I guess some other, already established, moderators didn't deserve to be patrollers Be a very active member and report a lot of posts with a good accuracy and if an admin thinks you would be beneficial they may ask you eventually. That's the only way really.
Top 50 reporters from last year.  I am no longer active during the times hilariousandco mentioned. I am no longer as active as I used to be. Similar points are likely true for the others on the list. In this case I think it was mainly the time as ~0500-0600 CE(S)T is not a common posting time. It wouldn't have made any sense to promote me just because I (still?) have the largest number of reports. I guess this is the reason theymos refuses to post regular updates, because it will lead to 'points' like these. I would have thought you knew better, considering that you became staff mainly because of your language skills. Id also hope that those with a large number of reports do so not in an attempt to achieve a staff position, but because they want to help the forum. Ultimatly the number of reports mean nothing, same as your time logged in. It may be fun to compare from time to time, but its meaningless as single metric to select someone for moderation. |
