1 nxt = 0,007450$
1 iota= 3,4nxt
1 iota= 0,02533$
0,1 iota=0,002533$

"Invest what you can afford to lose", looks like you are in total control of your pulsions. Grin

Maybe he meant "0.01 of all iota"? Smiley

i means 0.01 in btc how much iota i can buy? i don't have nxt

Theoretically 500 iota, but I doubt that you will find a seller on such a small amount.
463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: March 04, 2016, 08:31:33 AM
can this be minable in a next step like ethereum after the initial ico stage?

No, it violate security. Ethereum, by the way, has plans to go POS.
464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: March 03, 2016, 02:16:04 PM
Interesting concept, where can I buy iotas?

^THIS

OMFG how much more of this **** do i have to read before we go?

Oh the GUI isn't important? Well if you have any intention in selling IOTA it is important.

Everyone's crazy about ETH atm but IOTA could be the real deal. Awesome tweet!

What makes you think so? What are the advantages to the ETH?
Yes, I understand that the price and the growing popularity of envy , not only from a technical ( or otherwise) of innovation, but also on the solidarity of the people in this environment .

Cause it's a token for the internet of machines. And JINN project will be hardware backbone for iota. I'm not talking about advantages of tangle vs blockchain.

And eth is betting on people using smart contracts and private chains.

Maidsafe is currently sitting at a market cap of $40 million.

I think WORST case scenario Iota is worth more than Madesafe in the next 3-6 months. Worst case. Currently that would price Iota at .00009524, or almost 5x what it is trading at on here.

Now what happens if Iota has a "best" case scenario.

I will be holding the rest of my coins needless to say.

What an absolut bullshit. If you guys are so serious about all your post i'm gonna bet against you guys.

I bet up to 10 BTC that iota will not stay at avarage of 40M marketcap in the next 3-6 month after release. I want 3:1 odds in my favor. Up to it?

Wow.
So many SELLERS here. Smiley

FYP

I remember that there were special bitcoin site for bets like this  Huh
468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA Crowdsale on: March 02, 2016, 06:48:22 PM
Short question.
How Iotas are supposed to be collected now?

If you participiated in crowdsale just PM Come-from-Beyond for instructions.

P.S. Nice name by the way.  Grin

How far can I trust the ethereum network to store plenty of my money savings? It says on it's website that it's pre-alpha.
thanks.

You ought to decide by yourself.  Smiley

My two cents (iotas),

Never threaten legal action unless you mean it and know what you are doing - and you don't mean (and also don't know what you are doing, because you have no case here at this juncture).

Also, let's not set a precedent where we as a community start spamming and handling business related problems on the negotiation level - it will cause noise and confusion. Let David and team handle these issues. Imagine if there is a problem or delay in the future with a large entity (say, microsoft), are we going to spam and threaten to sue microsoft over similar issues? Probably not under this type of scenario we face now.

The GUI will come soon or this person will be fired and we will wait once more - that's life. I think this guy will come through.

Yeap. I always think that it doesn't make sense to be angry, you just need to fire bad employee as soon possible.
If he will not deliver GUI today, its intelligent to fire him, not giving endless additional days, be angry, etc.

Thanks for your concern and thanks for making it easy to add you to ignore list. Best of luck.

I'm selling my genesis address with 372 981 IOTA for 11 BTC

Escrow: Come-from-Beyond

Is this now a buy and sell thread??

Perhaps get it moved to the buy and sell section?

sounds a good bargain.

didn't you get 750 000 for 1 btc at IPO?

I mean these is the kind of gains etherium made after much longer? are we now saying even pre-release this is deserving these kind of returns.

WOW there is some serious pump speculation behind this one.

I would have considered at perhaps 3-4x ICO but now it seems people are just pumping and pumping this. I hope not too many people are going to get burned.

But that's just plain unfriendly and all I was trying to do was help others  make careful consideration before parting with their BTC at 25 x ico price.

This thread seems almost subjective and focused only on further pumping the price. I should probably just start my own more objective thread so we can discuss it in a more friendly manner.

I really wonder how demand so much outstrips supply on this board? It as if nobody heard about the ICO and only 1/25th of the board or far less heard about it? Perhaps 1 in 100 members only heard about the ICO? I wonder if we did a poll how many heard about the ICO?

ICO's can be some gamed if not enough people hear about them. They are almost akin to instamining in away i feel. Like people get to instamine a lot of coins for next to zero electricity. Like ICO if not known about and then closed. You get to insta ICO a lot of coins for next to zero BTC.

I Own Tons Assholes

Have you read my response to you in crowdsale thread ?
472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: March 02, 2016, 03:08:52 PM
Whats happening with the GUI at the moment? Is it being developed?

I personally expect GUI and beta this week.
Can anyone confirm this?

David via Ryver iota yesterday :

"David SonsteboTue 10:04pm
Alright finally Dan (GUI dev) responded. I won't waste time going into details here, but he claims he'll have a explanation and HOPEFULLY be done tomorrow. I am taking this with a mine of salt, but at least it's the first communication from him in a week"

"David SonsteboTue 10:45pm(edited)
Anyways we'll just have to see tomorrow, if he doesn't deliver I have a plan B"

i have sent message for GUI dev here : https://plus.google.com/117135058210150911432/posts?hl=fr

thanks yassin54
cmon GUI dev - u can do it!

I know this kind of fuckers who disappear I hire one for website development. In 80% cases they appears after a week to say "I was ill but soon you'll get the job you paid for", then they answer to you every day: "it will be done in a few days", then they disappear to come back in a month and say: "Sorry I can't do it at all, take your money back"  Sad

Those who care about incentives should read about altruism and its role in humankind evolution. Altruism is as old as greed, and one does not simply overcome patterns coded inside our genes.

$5 per month for hosting a node?
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: March 02, 2016, 09:30:36 AM
Who will run full nodes, it costs money, is there a reward for them to do this thing?

No reward.
RIP.

You only need to see Bitcoin nodes falling.

If you see it only as a software, but IOTA will have hardware support/hardware nodes.
476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: March 02, 2016, 08:58:47 AM
Yes this is one possible way to look at it. I wonder if a poll was raised on the main alt discussion forum if the board over time would rather see more opportunity and time given to all bct members to get behind such a project. I mean why see it as a bad thing. More people on board the more people pushing it forward and less thinking it was a quick fast ICO that only a small % of the board got to know about.

You see dash made the same error of thinking - although their launch and coin grab was an out right scam. IOTA ipo was not a scam it was an opportunity for those few that knew about it to purchase all the coins cheaply and then  charge 25x IPO price when nothing concrete has really changed.

I mean it seems very unfair that the rest of the board that didn't hear about it should now be paying 25x more when there is nothing more to actually see right now?

Why not a second IPO for a 2nd wave of investors? more development funds? see it as an extension of the first IPO and not a second one.

I think it could be a great idea. For everyone because yes 25x ipo seems great now. However if a lot more people came on board their investment and time can push it far higher.

Someone's rewards are the gains for risk.

The ICO participants took the maximum risk. There were NO ESCROW. NO SOURCE CODE. NO MICROSOFT EXCITING NEWS. We blindly throw money into btc address posted on btt. We got maximum reward.

Now the guys who buy IOTA here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1360660.0 HAVE NO ESCROW (if buying only a part of early adopter share). HAVE NO GUI. HAVE NO EXCHANGE. They took risk. That's why they will get not a maximum but very good reward.

And the guys who will buy iota on exchanges will took risk, cause I think there will be NO HARDWARE SUPPORT of iota when it will arrives at exchanges - thus they will get their profits.

And what I see in your posts is that you are not willing to take any risk. You wanna get profits without take of any risk. I hope you do not plan to disguise it under some talk about "unfair distribution"  :-|

He has removed the post you quoted. That was just a wrong link.

All I want is shyliar to say: I mixed up with Azure BaaS, sorry.
But he is googling hard to prove that everyone in this thread is wrong and he is right.
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft, yes the real MICROSOFT just partnered with IOTA on: March 01, 2016, 03:31:36 PM
Virtually anyone can become a Microsoft partner if they pay a small amount of money. My friend became one while unemployed so he could add it to his resume. Whenever I see this type of nonsense posted even if it's for Bitcoin, Ethereum or IOTA it just makes me laugh.

Either your mistaken, or full of shit.

Post proof like we did, or it didn't happen

Well here is one link (of thousands) explaining how it's done.

I usually use google.

Are you kidding?
Comparing to be a member in MPN and the part iota plays in azure is so..... hmmmm ....risible

ahhh ....your name is "SHY LIAR" ...  Roll Eyes keep on

Here is a better link explaining how to get the Microsoft Azure as a service free for a month.

https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/free-trial/?WT.srch=1&WT.mc_ID=SEM_

Yeap. And here is the Amazon Web Services link https://aws.amazon.com/free/?nc1=h_ls But how the hell it is relevant to the topic  Huh

And what is the name of your friend who is a partner at Blockchain as a Service  ?
