If there are more nodes needed, I could run one on my VPS. In what programming language is IOTA/server written?

HELLO!
I would like to help our lovely project in any cases! Could you please say me - what will be better choice for me?
I am not a programmer, but I am pc,net administrator, have russian, romanian and english speaking, writing skills.
Can You advise me, how I can use my energy for IOTA project?
Regards and waiting for feedback.

First, you can run a node to help the testing. Please PM your email address to iotatoken and he will invite you to IOTA Ryver chat room. There is a testing channel for you to get all information to start.

Secondly, you can sign up on the IOTA forum to start to pick up something there to help. You can find many things to help there. One of thing is to help sending introductory letter to IoT companies to introduce IOTA to the real world business - http://forum.iotatoken.com/t/a-generic-iota-introductory-letter/56

Thirdly, you can help to translate these two articles into Russian  and publish your translations on the relevant Russian website.

You can check whether your public address is in the genesis account - also if you missed the timeframe in which you should have send a small BTC amount (again from the same BTC address) for confirmation, you should pm CfB -

Sorry for asking that, iam sure it was already posted but i couldnt find it already,

how many genesis accounts had been created in total now? I know there are differences about the amount of each account, but i would only to know how many genesis accounts will be created in total.

Thanks!

Here it is: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1262688.msg13628833#msg13628833.

You can count them Smiley
The addresses may be changed due to genesis account sales, but the balance amounts and the count remains the same.

Ok, my text editor tells: 275 lines minus the last one, so 274 in total.

Depends on which Bitcoin client you use. Most have "Sign Message" capability.

SCAM ATTEMPT

An IOTA community member (frederick213) just alerted me to the fact that there is a scammer by the name of lotatoken that attempts to fool people to a phishing site.

Quote from: lotatoken
Good day frederick213,

We have just reopened the official IOTA website and are now distributing the devs shares of IOTA.

Currently we have 15,000,000 Iota available at 1 Iota per 1350 Satoshis (min order 25,000)

We dont expect them to be availble very long considering the recent news -

http://collect.iotatoken.com/ <-----Scammer obviously link to another URL

Kind regards,

the IOTA team.
