461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Always consider and be a wise investor! on: May 29, 2020, 08:19:56 AM
It is true there are many scammers and their scam projects but yet there are still very few legit projects, and the only way to differentiate them is through carrying out a good research on every project to know what the team wishes to do that will contribute to the betterment of the crypto space and the world out there. If their idea is not applicable or look unrealistic then it's better forgetting about it and focusing on other projects. The truth is, most people now finds it hard investing in new projects because of scams thus going for only developed coins; but yet there are always exemptions. Lastly I will say, if one is finding it hard knowing the right new project to invest in, it is better looking into major altcoins until the right one in their own perspective emerges, since everyone is responsible for every risk or investment they take.
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency & Mobile Gaming on: May 28, 2020, 11:24:31 AM
Found out about a new project today called Ludena Protocol.
From what I've read its an app in Korea currently with 3 million users thats launching globally soon

Basically you play mobile games like COD, PUBG etc and then get rewarded in tokens, in exchange for them collecting your data and then selling it to publishers.

Does something like this even make sense? Most gamers don't care about cryptocurrency in my opinion, but the fact that 3 million users are currently using the platform that can be easily convereted into DAPP users in the backgorund is kind of appealing.

Anyways, I would appreciate everyones input on whether these two industries should even be combined

Reading through and seeing what the team has achieved so far is nice and really good, thus one can only but wish the team will continue to bring out the best as they have been doing. There have been many platforms which started well but one thing lead to another and they are nowhere to be found today. Therefore, with this project achieving all these so far, I think with more input and more implementations they will attract more users thus driving more value to the platform. I will research on the project to know more and how best the team aims to keep their platform growing.
463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is gambling another good use case for coin to have more demand? on: May 28, 2020, 11:14:14 AM
Can gambling use case help a project to have good value in future? I was following a project called blockstamp and after they introduce their online casino platform in 2019 the coin surge over 1$ from 0.12$ I think, is gambling another way to make a coin demanding? Do you gamble online? E g casinos?

Just like other use cases, gambling in the blockchain space is also a good use case and if developed properly will make the platform worthwhile to engage with. The only issue with gambling just like other use cases is that, most platforms fails to build one which will be attractive to gamblers so when that unique feature is not there, most people or rather gamblers tend to go back to other gambling platforms. I don't know much about this project in particular but if the team will put in their best, then they will succeed in keeping a good competitive advantage.
464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the new cryptocurrency worth buying on: May 27, 2020, 08:21:45 AM
No coin will ever be like Bitcoin, that's the first thing to know so that you can have an open mind when taking decisions. Secondly, your friend was right the first time who knows he might be wrong this time around. Thirdly, with the rate of disappointments coming from new altcoins nowadays, to invest in most of them, one needs to be extra careful. Therefore my only suggestion and opinion is, you ask him questions about the project he wants you to invest in, then make your own research and compare what you were told to what you found out to be sure you are on the right track. If you are still skeptical but still wants to invest, maybe you can consider short term investment.
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Importance of social media channels on: May 27, 2020, 07:52:02 AM
That's true, social media channels are very vital and must be check often to be updated on all that is taking place within the platform. Nevertheless, there are still projects whose social media channels are nothing to write home about, that is, lack of communication or update while in telegram are mainly spammers and bots, now when these gets too much the social media channels tends to lose its purpose thus making some users to stay at bay which then leads to missing vital information. Therefore I think the team should keep capable hands who will always keep the telegram group clean and other social media channels updated with latest news, updates etc.
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The return of ICOs on: May 26, 2020, 07:35:24 AM
Well, I do not think they are coming back, they had their chances and messed it up. The simple truth is, it will be difficult for anyone to trust any ICO now, because the risk is not worth it. Therefore, any good project which thinks it has what it takes should go for IEO, it is as simple as that, this is because investors will have that feeling that they won't get scammed, the team ignoring them or the need to keep asking the team about listing. Moreover it's been a long time we hear anything about ICO, meaning IEO has taken over, thus should there even be any ICO, it will likely be overshadowed by IEO.
467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: TRUSTED PROJECT BOUNTY OR JUST SCAM ? on: May 25, 2020, 09:05:14 AM
There is no possible way to know a good or best bounty as the one that is thought to be good might turn out to be bad at the end where the team might delay the reward, lock it or even refuse to pay. On the other hand, the one which is thought to be bad might end up performing well. But yet due diligence should always be carried out before participating in any bounty because it helps to narrow down uncertainties. In addition, I think participating in bounties that are already listed gives higher hope such that you will know what to expect and to an extent understand more about the team.
468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why is the EOS BLOCKCHAIN SO FRUSTRATING on: May 25, 2020, 08:49:47 AM
Ohh, I used to think I was the only one and now I'm seeing the whole truth behind the blockchain. One of the attributes of a platform which will grow is user friendliness and easy accessibility, once these are in place, users won't necessarily have the need to complain, but in the absence of these, the results will be complains and possible disregard for the platform; the case of complains and disregard, is just the case of EOS. EOS blockchain is complicated and demanding which makes most people lose interest. I have moved on though and i don't think anything will be taking me back to it not when there are other good platforms.
469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hedera Hashgraph on: May 24, 2020, 12:47:01 PM
I have heard a lot about the platform and their strive for growth but however I won't be too quick to say it has the potential to beat any platform yet let alone the Ethereum platform. I think before we judge most platforms or say they can beat especially top platforms (like Ethereum), it is best to allow the platform in question to run for a long time and then check if the team are still active as before or not, of course the result of this will be reflected on the platform's growth. Many people once said one platform or the other will overtake Ethereum in different aspects but yet here we are. So let the team continue working and let the result speak for itself.
470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 10 alts under $0.10 that can go 100x on: May 24, 2020, 12:15:03 PM
So I'm looking to round out my portfolio on about 10 crypto projects that are all under $0.10 right now and have the potential for going 100x by either doing so in the past or has great potential to do so again when the next bull market hits.

So far in my portfolio:

Unibright (UBT)
PolyMath (POLY)
Hedera Hashgraph (HBAR)
Enjin (ENJ)
Singularity (AGI)

I was considering adding WanChain, but I could take it or leave it.  It seems to have really good gains in the past and still is an active project.  But the others are staying in my portfolio.

So I'm looking for about 5 more really strong projects that are currently $0.10 and below with huge potential of 100x.

And GO! lol

Your main concern is coins within that price range, actually it's your opinion and you are entitled to it. However, if am to suggest, I don't think the price really matters , the main thing to focus on is the use case and activeness of the team; if the team are not serious there is every tendency that the coin won't grow and vice versa. So I would say focus on those projects that have something to offer like ETH and so on. Also, from your list, I think only Hedera Hashgraph and Enjin are potentially good coins.
471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about coronacoin COVID? on: May 23, 2020, 06:47:01 PM
Hi guys, i've heard about this coin since march but i dont know if invest on it. I think it may be a nice chance because covid is very talked about and if well managed it could go up, but im new to crypto investment and im a bit scared of losing money. What do you think? Thanks

It is a scam, don't bother knowing more about it as you might be drawn into investing and losing your money since you are still new. Also, I remembered reading a post where the project team of the same Corona virus coin exited scam, now another is coming up again with same pattern, why, because they know this pandemic gives them the opportunity to scam innocent people. In case of another time, ask yourself, the relevance of the project and check if it is really achievable. Lastly, all Corona virus projects are just out to scam hence be careful always.
472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hello everyone! Do you still have confidence in altcoin? on: May 23, 2020, 06:34:17 PM
At present, the market condition of altcoin is not very good, the exchange rate of BTC is getting lower and lower, and many altcoins have been unmaintained. Even if the development team still insists, the price is very miserable! The blow to the entire team is not small, I am afraid it is difficult to persevere. Now there are a few questions that I want to discuss with you:
1. In your life, when would you use cryptocurrencies to shop? We know that people like to use cryptocurrencies in the dark web.Is general life shopping necessary?
2. If you use cryptocurrency for payment, what currency will you prefer to choose and why?
3. At present, the altcoin market is very bleak. Do you think this is a buying opportunity?
4. What do you think is the easiest to implement in Altcoin's future application scenarios and will attract more users!

Thanks all replies

From a good point of view the present nature of altcoins really gives concerns, many might argue it is because of the pandemic. However, answering the questions; first I don't really know when I can use cryptocurrencies to shop because in my current location there is no platform which has adopted it yet, but if I have the opportunity online I will always go for it.
Secondly, the cryptocurrencies I will choose for payment is Ethereum or Bitcoin.
Thirdly, the market looks unfavorable and therefore might still go down more, so I will wait a bit more.
Lastly, altcoins future application which will attract more users is in the area of e-commerce, just imagine a case scenario where altcoins have already being adopted into certain e-commerce platforms we would have seen that most people won't bother selling to fiat in this pandemic when they can do their shopping with altcoins.
473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will More Countries Introduce Crypto-friendly Legislation? on: May 22, 2020, 11:06:57 AM
In the past two months,, some countries have been attracting attention in strengthening cryptocurrency adoption. Financial regulators and legislators in India, South Korea, Germany, and France have all passed crypto-friendly laws, which has eased their attitudes towards cryptocurrencies.

These new legislations are seen as bullish signals by the crypto community. In other words, these four countries are seen as leaders in other countries, and they may lead more countries to warm up for cryptocurrencies in the future.

How do you think about this?

First it is wonderful knowing that cryptocurrency is now gaining attention to the extent countries are now passing bills and adjusting their regulations to accept and support the crypto space. What I think from this is, other countries will slowly ease up as well because crypto is a global thing and for it to survive till now while growing to worth so much more shows that there is more to be expected in the future.
474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Getting Listed On Exchanges on: May 22, 2020, 10:44:02 AM
First the requirements varies from exchange to exchange and also to a great extent depends on the type of deal or agreement the project's team had with them. In some cases, the exchange will require to be paid with the listing token while in some cases the exchange might require the payment be made with their native coin or with a particular coin. I have read about cases where some projects made it known that they were asked to pay a certain amount in BTC to be listed.
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins for 2020 on: May 21, 2020, 11:35:56 AM
What are the coins that going to rock in 2020?
In my list :
1. Binance
2. Etherium
 - what's in your list?

I have these coins staked for more than 3 years:
1. Rivetz
2. Electroneum
3. Digital Trading Rights - DTR
4. Eko
5. and, some other coins that are died already.
 - any of these coin has future?

Do you guys think that we can invest in BTC again? It seems like BTC is slowly going up.
And, if you want to invest in some what are your choices?

The first list is very good and that is what's in mine but with more addition, which includes XLM and BNB with little ADA although still considering to add more of it; I just have much faith in them that they will do well because their teams have been active and also working hard as well. About the other list, actually you know the reason you are holding, but if its for me I would have let go before now. Furthermore, answering your last question, yes i will invest in Bitcoin again as it is always the best form of investment in this space.
476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT trusted to use? on: May 21, 2020, 11:24:37 AM

Truthfully we can't trust centralized platforms in the crypto space when it comes to keeping funds but in this case, USDT have been around for a long time now, hence its value and potential took it to the position it is now on coinmarketcap. Therefore in my own opinion, irrespective of the news about it, it is still growing therefore I will continue using it as there have been no issue with it ever since. But when it comes to holding long term I prefer other trustworthy coins like BTC.
477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is safer, USDT or Binance USD? on: May 20, 2020, 10:35:47 AM
I'm going to deposit some money into Binance Lending, i find BUSD's interest rate is 1% higher than USDT. Which one is better?

First Binance is a good exchange always know that and now since you are about going into their lending program, I think it is better to use BUSD so as to enjoy all the benefits that comes with it. Normally USDT is much better but in this case where is concerns Binance, the other looks like a more viable option. Also, with Binance being in charge of this and hence using BUSD, that means there is no need to worry; but if it is for something different where you will need to choose between the two, then USDT is preferable.
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchanges Combined by IEOs performance on: May 20, 2020, 10:25:16 AM
This now shows that not even a good exchange can help a project whose team aren't ready to work, that is, whether the IEO is on top exchanges or not, if the team aren't putting in enough work their project value will continue to drop. In the same way, it also shows that good projects are being helped by good exchanges thus resulting in even more valuable platform. Lastly, it also shows two very important things, one is, IEO on good exchanges are worth it and also it makes sense to invest in good project's IEO.
479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi Network is gaining traction rapidly, is it really worth mining? on: May 19, 2020, 09:33:29 AM
Many people have been talking about this project and so on but never found the chance to do an indepth research on it to know why it is on the lips of all and sundry. Nevertheless, since it is about mining, there might be a new thing they are doing and I don't mind installing to see if it's just hype as most new projects normally do or something worthwhile.
480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about investing in Eos on: May 18, 2020, 09:38:37 AM
hello, i was wondering if Eos can be a good investment for the future ? what are your thoughts ?

Most people can always relate to top coins or coins within a certian range maybe from 1-20 in coinmarketcap as trusted coins thus good for investment. This is because, it's believed that for those coins to be within that range, means they have something good to offer. In the case of EOS, same can be said about it, good team, good community etc, and since you are considering the future, then it's good for holding but if you are considering short term then you will need to make more research to know if it will meet your anticipation while bearing in mind the crypto space is unpredictable.
