At present, the market condition of altcoin is not very good, the exchange rate of BTC is getting lower and lower, and many altcoins have been unmaintained. 1. I would be more than happy to spend my btc for purchasing my underwear to paying all of my bills but that's not possible here. Without real adoption, no coin could be bright. For your info, BTC is being used in different shops too, afaik, some alts are also accepted. When crypto will have acceptance on all the shops, that will fulfill the goal of Satoshi and we expect someday it will be done.
2. I would prefer BTC at the first place. Although the scalability is an issue yet, BTC is the most decentralized currency so far. If I were to choose an altcoin, I would prefer LTC. It's another version of BTC too.
3. In my opinion, it's not buying opportunity. We had it some couple of months ago.
4. I didn't get the point.

This time I haven't much faith upon the altcoins because of the very irregularities in the ICO and the bounty for promotion they are offering. Earlier, in the ICO I have also made some investment. But now their value is not even a dollar. The Bunny token, here I invested more than $500 but you cant imagine the value of this overall investment now is mere $1. So, the faith come to the altcoins. So, I only work for bounty for the free coin. If I get reward then happy if not get then I feel that I had nothing to lost.

Now, if available. But there is none. I don't want to use online shops because of high international delivery fees

No, chances of it going up is still low. It had been a long time since I saw great activity from the altcoin market.

Gaming or gambling application might work. Too many competition with exchange now.

For me, altcoins are the best source of investment i love, it might be tricky, soft and not flambouyant but it has immense profit if you can get it right.

Also, you need to be able to stick to the best of altcoins, and to identify the best of altcoins, you must do your research immensely, avoid clout, fud and fomos and be the best you can be for yourself.

I use altcoins for several things like buying, gambling and trading but I don't consider alts to be as worthy for long term hold as bitcoin. You know bitcoin would not fail you but you can't say the same for alts. I trust Ethereum but it's a utility token with infinite supply. You can't expect to get similar profit from them as bitcoin.

In fact, I only use BTC and ETH to pay several times for online accounts, but in daily life there is no option to use cryptocurrencies. Hope things will change in the near future.

My belief in alts depends on the price of bitcoin. I do not believe much in the future of blockchain technology and cheap alts. I am just analyzing the future price of bitcoin to buy potential alts. You know, as bitcoin grows, the alts will increase later. Currently I only focus on top alts with strong communities. when bitcoin grows because of halving, the alts will have a good season.

1. I used it for few times but I'm not into shopping but I'm glad that I've purchase some things that I bought online and the payment is with crypto. The shop that I've used have their method to accept crypto and I guess they automatically convert it into fiat.

2. As much as I want to use altcoins but it's bitcoin because, most shops that I visit only accepts that btc.

3. Specify what altcoin you are talking. If that's Ethereum, Litecoin or Monero, I'd say that it's a yes.

For now, only btc is my main digital currency for occasionally payment only it is very necessary, most altcoins really don't have the market demand so as a result they are really struggling with price, altcoins only rise when btc rises, they depend largely on btc to move which is something that will keep alts from growing if they can not perform separately from btc,
Although it is still too early to judge but I believe with time there will be alts that can be use for payment aside eth, and can provide good service in real life, this is still the early stage perhaps.

I don't think you can use a cryptocurrency to buy a phisically product and I will tell you why . If you send right now $30 worth of bitcoin the transaction fee will be somewhere at ~$3-4 . No one will spend $30 for a product with $3 fee.

From a good point of view the present nature of altcoins really gives concerns, many might argue it is because of the pandemic. However, answering the questions; first I don't really know when I can use cryptocurrencies to shop because in my current location there is no platform which has adopted it yet, but if I have the opportunity online I will always go for it.
Secondly, the cryptocurrencies I will choose for payment is Ethereum or Bitcoin.
Thirdly, the market looks unfavorable and therefore might still go down more, so I will wait a bit more.
Lastly, altcoins future application which will attract more users is in the area of e-commerce, just imagine a case scenario where altcoins have already being adopted into certain e-commerce platforms we would have seen that most people won't bother selling to fiat in this pandemic when they can do their shopping with altcoins.

not much different from me, I personally use crypto only for investment. but once in a while I start trying to shop using crypto on several sites that accept payment via BTC. and I also don't think that crypto can be used for daily life especially in the near future, because crypto is not a tool for transactions like paper currencies, crypto is more suitable for investment tools.

Now I don't think of any other digital currency other than Bitcoin. Because altcoin seems to me to be made only for taking bitcoin. I do have confidence in good altcoins and i am sure they will do well in future, below i will answer your questions one by one.
1) yes, shopping with crypto has already become a reality, there are many retailers that accept crypto directly other than that you can use any crypto based cards and you have many options available now. I am using crypterium card and it is as good as bank card.
2) I am holding only top serious coins so definitely i will use only them for payment like btc and eth.
3) yes, but pick your alts wisely and do not chase any shiny new coin.
4) i think eth 2.0 will emerge as a winner and dApp culture will promote.

There are many good projects out there. Our portfolio should be diversified.

1. To use cryptocurrencies at shops, I think it needs more time. Still cryptocurrencies are waiting for their wide adaption and the ways few governments think about it.
2. At the moment, BTC is the only reliable and I would say univarsal option for payment.
3. I see a good opportunity to buy but not 100% as market may lower down more.
4. We need a univarsal application/exchange/marketplace to have for all cryptocurrencies. At the moment, due to multiple exchanges and application for each toen or coin, the mass adoption is far away.

Sometimes I use cryptocurrencies to pay some bills or buy and sell online.

I usually use ETH as the currency for payment, eth has a fast transaction speed and is easy to use.

The altcoin market is good to buy at the moment, but I'll wait for it to go a little lower before deciding to buy.

i'd be willing to pay bill or buy just about anything on a local store as long as the transaction fee cost a penny. TRX or ADA would be my best candidate for it. today these tokens are very much affordable for anyone with a hundred USD can collect it for future use, them being affordable means an opportunity to grab them while its cheaper. ADA was implemented already and its viable.

Have low faith on new altcoins but it doesn't mean every altcoin will fail as long as bitcoin is exists here there is a hope for altcoin users as well.For use case any crypto currency is still infant and have limited usage so if you want to use crypto for every purchase then you have to wait for atleast a decade from now.
