To all those who are complaining not having received a stake due to being marked as socks:
We had more then 2800 people who wanted a stake. I think everyone agrees that among those people there were many socks. So we had to act.
When deciding who will get a stake a who not, we had to find a compromise between being too lenient and too strict, the former leading to many socks getting a stake which is unfair to the ones that complied to the rules and the latter leading to many non socks getting no stake which is again unfair for obvious reasons.
But no matter how much effort our team put into the analysis, having so many cases which are unclear always results in some cases where a sock gets a stake and some cases where a non sock doesn't get a stake. Any other team would have faced the same problems. So if you didn't get your stake although you deserved one I am sorry for that, we could not avoid some misjudgements during the cleaning process. I do understand that in this case you are dissappointed/frustrated/angry. But that's life and there will never be 100% fairness anywhere. The decisions we made are final. I think the vast majority of the community will agree that we have to move on.

Dear NEM Team,
today i read the distribution is finished but i never got a real answer to my case. You put me on the socks list before launch.
I sent several pms to makoto and patmast3r months ago waiting patiently for a reply and a solution.
I offered indentification or other evidence that i am a real person.We were three original stakeholders. We share a flat and a busisness computer which we use for crypto related things as well.
My friend MartiniBlanco received his stake with nemesis block. I was put on socks list. Im also not very active here. The third friend who lived with us sold his stake early on nxt AE.
We kept ours and support Nem for over 1.5 !!! years now! Why didnt you even talk to me? Why dont you follow your own principles of fairness and transparency?
I am very disappointed not to say angry right now and hope you will solve this problem...
Its very sad you put technical evicence over real life. The original stakeholders are your foundation. Please dont forget that. And! I also paid for my stake.

Make sure you're looking at the correct account. When you import the private-key it will create another account (the one you just imported) so you need to switch to that account to see your XEM. Does the client show the correct address (the one you registered) in the upper left corner ? I know how is work, dev team put me on a sockpuppet case , and I haven't get my coin yet Hi Jessica222, what is your NEM account number that you registered on the NEM website? So to summarize, there are 3 accounts that got 1 stake each but you are unable to access them. It seems unlikely to me that you wrote down a wrong private key for each of them.
Did you write those keys down by hand or copy/paste them into a text file?
