462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I have found a long term and strong dice strategy. on: April 23, 2017, 11:32:06 PM
Lop I can't believe you take that long and that many calculations to write this post but yet can't figure out that this is impossible ? I will never understand how people can lie to themselves about this and try trick themselbes into believing this. Guys don't be so desperate for money.
463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: April 23, 2017, 11:14:30 PM
I don't really think any altcoin will take over from bitcoin but it will have brothers and sister coins. Altcoin is to bitcoin as bitcoin is to the USD. So altcoin doesn't really need to have a chance with bitcoin. Unless a newer better version of bitcoin with better technology comes out. Its mostly up to the technology behind the coin and not the coin itself.
464  Other / Off-topic / Re: Smartphones are vital to bitcoin growth on: April 23, 2017, 09:56:27 PM
More and more people are using smartphones thanks to budget friendly mid-rangers, almost anyone can now afford to buy a smartphone.

Mobile payment is becoming more common and it is an opportunity to acquaint people more into using bitcoin . Mobile payment will eventually replace credit cards or at least will make them less mainstream. An example  of this is Apple Pay. Bitcoin smartphone wallet  apps are to use when you have a transaction, you just scan a qr code and the transaction is done though will take some time to be confirmed.

You say midrangers. But not even. Even low end phones these days sre much better then tip end stuff you got years ago so anyone rich or poor can meet online and use apps and we sites and forums. Right now I could be typing from a crappy phone or a really nice pc. You never know.
465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin GEOCACHE in Iceland FREE money!! GAME STILL ON!! on: April 23, 2017, 09:54:13 PM
Haha !! I remember this before bitcoin was invented I think ? The local radio station his things for geocashers to find as a game and there was a prize at the end.

Having the same thing but using bitcoin just makes sense and is an obvious move so that's great. I hope you guys are enjoying yourself. It would be great if you could place a game over the map to make it even more immersive. Like VR GPS.
466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you stop someone forcing you to hand over your private key and taking all on: April 23, 2017, 09:49:10 PM
One thing I have thought about is that with bitcoin, someone could force you to hand over your private key. What sort of safeguards are there to prevent this happening, or to prevent them taking everything in that wallet?
One thing one can do is leave Bitcoins on an exchange that will only allow you to withdraw $1000 worth per day, but then you run the risk of the exchange being hacked....what are the other options?

Someone can force you to hand over anything though. The best thing to do is split your bitcoin among bitcoin wallets that way you don't lose all your bitcoin. Someone can steal your car or empty your bank account . This is nothing new. You can upgrade security and things because someone will have to break into your house or something.
I dont know why would anyone brag about having some bitcoins stashed, that would be very stupid in case when someone knowing that, would plan how to rob this guy bitcoins.
Well, there is no any possibility to take away the bitcoins without having wallet address of the victim, unless you can get access to the bitcoins through the device that a sufferer owns.

As many people has already mentioned, there is no better way to just protect yourself by splitting the cash (BTC) all over many wallets, but you need some kind of database of the addresses, and you should encrypt it as hard as possible, to prevent anyone getting hands on your money.
Like always we must use common sense, no one will flash a huge wallet with tens of thousands of dollar on the street to anyone that asked him and the same needs to apply to bitcoin, don’t brag about it only tell to a person or two so in case something happens to you those coins are not lost forever.

Exactly. You have more chance of having something stolen out your house or your phone stolen from your person. How is someone going to know you have bitcoin ? Its like if you write your password on paper. People say don't. But you should. People who come into your house are not looking for your bitcoin wallet I promise you. They want your TV and stuff. You don't know what other people do online so I don't see how this will ever happen. Just keep many wallets.
467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: small fee makes transactions faster on: April 23, 2017, 09:44:38 PM
why bitcoin transfer fee when most people give it in large quantities, but it will slow down the transaction itself, rather than using a bitcoin transfer fee sathosi 1000 it could be?

What is your opinion with bitcoin transfer with a large fee?

*facepalm*Is this real ? I feel bad even replying. Why are you saying things like this ?You are almost a full member and you say things like this ? What you are saying is the same as saying that if I put more fuel in my car i will go further because its lighter....

Much logic.
468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is getting serious ... Total CryptoCurrency Market Cap to $30 billion !! on: April 23, 2017, 09:40:56 PM
Once fiat can leave the system watch that drop to $24b

Dude if fiat left the system the system would be broke since bitcoin has value based on the USD. Who knows what will happen if fiat no longer exists. We would have a global currency and hundreds of them. There will be loads of new altcoins too.
469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the single best link to educate people about Bitcoin? on: April 23, 2017, 09:19:12 PM
The beginner and bitcoin discussion part of this forum is a pretty solid bet it will bring up more  links to further your education in bitcoin. I think this site is the only link you really need and everything else will simply follow.

You should open a poll after you collected a few answers and see that way.
470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: April 23, 2017, 09:16:01 PM
I keep the bulk of my bitcoin on a at wallet I run from BIM in a server pc I use for all my coin wallets and to stake with. My main spending wallet is st blockchain.info I like the ease of use of online wallets for buying from where ever I am. I then have two addictional wallets. One for gambling and one for trading and investments.
471  Other / Archival / Re: StarCoin | 1# μBitcoin Casino with High Quality Games 🌟 300% Bonus Low Rollover on: April 23, 2017, 09:11:45 PM
I always thought the lack of activity this site had on the forum very suspect. Now I know. 10x wage limit seems to low hey. Even for s purely luck based game where you can't tell the outcome st all like slots. 10x on dice would be dangerous for the casino.

Now the site is not even up. Completely down. Steer clear if you value your bitcoin .
