461  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are You Disappointed In Trading? on: April 22, 2017, 12:54:37 PM
“One of the keys to a trader’s success was not the results of a trade but rather how a trader reacted to the results of a trade.” – Dan Gamza

Why me? Why did this happen to me? Those are some of the questions that disturb losing traders. After a series of losses, some of them develop hatred for trading. Suffering that results from negative trades, drawdowns and margin calls can make people easily disappointed in trading.

Nonetheless, no matter how bad your trading is, it could’ve been worse. No matter how bad things are, there are still some reasons to be thankful, if you can think deep.

There are events that move the markets and which professionals focus on. These events often are filled with uncertainties, bringing profits and losses to people. Just some months ago, Greece was a hot topic, and speculators were mulling opening positions on the seemingly overextended markets, but some had serious misgivings. At times, the stakes may be higher than the rewards.

There Is Really Nothing Like Losses

There is really nothing like losses, for what brings losses to some people is what brings profits to others. The market moves up or down – not losing up or down. When you buy EURUSD and it goes up, you win (but a seller will lose). When you sell AUDJPY and it goes up, you lose (but a buyer will win). When you enter a direction in the market and it moves seriously in your favor, all those who go in that direction will make money, provided there are no wide differences in their entry prices.

What you call losses is what brings profits to some people. What you call profits is what brings losses to some people.

People Don’t Learn Their Lessons

Despite well-meaning efforts to solve the problem of loss, there are millions of traders around the world who’re still losing because of dangerous trading habits. People don’t learn their lessons.

During a funeral process, many attendees will be remorseful, thinking about the brevity of life and futility of wickedness, anxiety, love of money and so on. But once the funeral is done, you’ll see many of those attendees living their lives as if they’d not die again.

Too many traders lost in the past because they didn’t use stop loss on live and simulated accounts. When they come back to trading, you’ll see them using the same trading approaches that led to their downfall the last time, namely, high lot sizes and no stop loss. People don’t learn their lessons.

Traders who test new trading ideas on demos don’t use stops; and I wonder how that idea can survive on live accounts in the long haul, because they may apply it to a demo account once they’ve been lucky enough to gather some gains.

A Way Out?
After many years of grappling with the markets, traders who complained in the past may later show their gratitude; and for the fact that the markets cannot be blamed for what happen to them (though we may feel disappointed sometimes). There are days when they become sad, and they complain when they think of their seeming helplessness. Nonetheless, they’d have come to understand that the markets don’t set out to punish individuals.

Interacting with good traders as well as reading about super successful ones would’ve made them stronger psychologically and kept their spirits up.

Reflecting on a possibility of a risk-free trading approach reassures those who’re currently losing. Good trading coaches care about them, knowing full well that the end of their struggles is in sight. Focusing on such hope can give a trader the fortitude to endure certain negativity now.

Conclusion: Are you disappointed in trading? Well those who currently make loads of money from trading were once disappointed at some time in their careers. Those whose marriage is now successful were at one time, frustrated by their spouse. But these people, for example, profitable traders (as well as happily married persons), looked for solutions to their problems and apply those solutions faithfully. That doesn’t mean they’re luckier or better than others: that means they’re able to overcome the causes of frustrations and disappointment in their careers.

This article is ended with the quote below:

“Markets are people. So beating them asks for insight in what they are doing. And, perhaps more importantly, how they feel, because that will direct their future actions and, in the end, what markets will do.” – Dirk Vandycke

Yes,i lost around 0.1 btc by trading in altcoins.I was a newcomer to trading at that time.I invested in new altcoins seeing its price rising very quick without knowing that it is being pumped and sold it at very low price than which i bought. Now i dont show interest in investing in altcoins as most of them are just pump and dump coins.
462  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How i can Start Trading !!!! on: April 22, 2017, 12:27:16 PM
Trading is an unpredictable job that too in altcoin where the market is very volatile. You have to find an altcoin which is most under valued and your success lies in it.Better avoid newly released altcoins as most of them are just scam coins.Invest in a coin which has large trade volume.Dont invest in altcoins when bitcoin rally is going because its the time when mostly all altcoins start bleeding.
463  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Opportunity is here?? on: April 22, 2017, 11:30:43 AM
As we all are aware that the price of bitcoin is drastically going down so can we called this a trading opportunity.
What i was thinking is all the people who are currently holding bitcoin can convert it to any alt like maybe monero and let the price of bitcoin go more down and then buy when yiu think the price won't grow more.

Disclaimer:
I would recommend only for those people to do who will get some sort of profit by selling their bitcoin if you purchased at a higher then i would recommend you to refrain from doing this.
Your thinking is totally different from normal people. You are suggesting to sell bitcoins and invest them in altcoin to increase your bitcoin holding.Have you thought about the risk involved in this?Thats definitely a ridiculous idea.
464  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Best Time to Become a Trader on: April 22, 2017, 11:27:37 AM
I think that you can become a trader any time.
This sentences is already represented my answer... all of the time is always for becoming a trader and for becoming a trader is always  don't recognize about the best moment.. every moment is always best and just depend how u can taking the advantages from the possibilities.
I agree with you . whenever we can be a trader. anywhere and any time a trader can trade.
they just need an internet connection in order to access their account. it's very easy to do nowadays.
Yes agree you can be trader anytime but I am definitely sure you will lose your all money if you don't have experience. Its very easy to become trader but its very hard to become a successful trader. As my opinion you need at least 3 years experience on trading  to become a successful trader.
You are right. There is a lot of difference between a newbie and a professional trader. If you start trading with huge investments and without experience, then you could end in loss.First start trading with a small amount which you can afford to lose.By doing regular trading, you would gain the required experience.
465  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you think Bitcoin will reach $1500? on: April 22, 2017, 11:11:31 AM
I say by the end of December for sure, but feeling the summer is a possibility as well.  Your thoughts ?
On seeing the speed with which bitcoin price is rising, bitcoin would reach $1500 by end of july 2017.We should have already reached this price by this time, but due to hard fork and BU issues, this delay has occurred.
466  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC doing good after this big dump on: April 22, 2017, 11:06:53 AM
We went from $1200 to $1165, it's staying up nicely, so we must hope that we don't go below $1100 and I think we are reasonably ok and good to go for the next $1300 test.
Roger ver just tried to make profit by creating BU issue. But bitcoin has as usual recovered from such attacks and its price is now $1268.Newbies were the losers this time also. They just sold out their bitcoins by getting panic.Bitcoin's price is sure to increase more.
467  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think the price of bitcoin will be in 2018 on: April 22, 2017, 10:54:25 AM
As we all know that bitcoin has progressed a lot since it was released and here in 2017 we saw the price of bitcoin was 1000+ USD which is 5x of the price was in 2015.
So what do you think it will be in 2018.
By 2017 end, bitcoin price would be $2000 and by the end of 2018,bitcoin price would be around $3000.The reason for the price increase would be the great demand for bitcoin at that time.
468  Economy / Speculation / Re: effect of Japan on bitcoin price speculation on: April 22, 2017, 10:50:05 AM
I don't see any topics about this so here we go.

according to coinmarketcap.com when you sort the table based on volume, among the top 10 exchanges sorted by daily volume you can see 4 of them are BTC/JPY markets with a total of $36,444,090 volume currently for the past 24 hours.
although 3 of them have an * above them which can mean there is no fee (or some other thing) on these exchanges.

apart from high trade volume my main subject is the fact that Japan recently adopted bitcoin on a massive scale since it is now legal and a legit currency.

so what do we expect from all this in short or long term.
We couldnot expect any price change in short term. But in long term, japan accepting bitcoin would  demand for bitcoin and hence its price would increase considerably.
469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reminder: Be Open and Helpful To New People To Bitcoin on: April 22, 2017, 06:05:56 AM
I still meet quite a few people who don't have any bitcoins and think they can only buy one.  It's a great reminder that there are still misconceptions that we can correct.  In his case, he and his family are from India so they have concerns about gold, but he's uneasy about buying a full bitcoin at $1200ish.  I pointed out, "You could buy $10 or $20 worth of a bitcoin just to test it out" and he was stunned that this was an option.  For those of us who've been around a while, it's easy to forget that some don't know this.  Be friendly and helpful, as people want to be a part of an open community.
Yes,when i say that bitcoin's price is $1250 today, for one second, they get stunned. They start thinking that how thbey could buy such a costly asset and instead they could buy gold. But,then i explain them that bitcoin could be divided into 8 units and they could even buy 0.01 btc. Most of people who are new to bitcoins have this doubt and they should be properly explained for bitcoin progress.
470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: April 22, 2017, 05:59:21 AM
As we enter 2017, Bitcoin begins with a fresh start making it worth nearly $1000 per coin. Users, banks, and even governments are becoming more interested into Bitcoin, and its underlying technology called the Blockchain.

Now, as we progress into making Bitcoin more scalable and efficient than ever, I would like to know what are your thoughts for the pioneer cryptocurrency in 2017?

If all goes well for Bitcoin this year, it might increase its value more than $1000, as well as become closer to being used as a mainstream currency. What do you think?  Smiley
Bitcoin price has already reached $1250 now.Japan has accepted bitcoin as a payment already.Russia has dropped its plan of banning bitcoin and has started to regulate bitcoin.Bitcoin would be accepted by more companies in 2017.It would make the price of bitcoin to increase more.
471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: April 22, 2017, 05:45:09 AM
How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?
If no one shows interest and stops buying bitcoins, then bitcoin price would decrease gradually and it may die eventually in due course of time. But,i feel that when quantum computing will be introduced, then it may lead to the death of bitcoin.
472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: April 22, 2017, 05:41:05 AM
Guys I know that there are previous posts and polls regarding the highly suggested source of bitcoin but things always change do I want to know what is the current best source of bitcoin nowadays. Please participate on this poll and kindly tell us why that's your choice. Thanks in advance and God bless us more Wink
In early stages, mining was very profitable and bitcoin was mined easily even using CPU.But now its not profitable and we need powerful ASICs to mine bitcoin. But trading has been found as the legit and best source of bitcoin. Its better to start trading.
473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: April 22, 2017, 05:32:43 AM
Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
No,Bitcoin couldnot be replaced by any other coin.No altcoin has the potential to replace bitcoin.Instead, they need bitcoin to know their values. So,Bitcoin would continue as king of crypto currency.
474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Daily use of bitcoin? on: April 22, 2017, 05:27:45 AM
Hi friends,

As far as I know, bitcoin payments take a little time to approve. Will these approval times make it difficult to use bitcoin in our daily lives?
For example, I would get a coffee from Starbucks. Do I have to wait for approval to pay for what I have done for hours?
Yes,its a big issue in bitcoin nowadays. It should be solved quickly for the progress of bitcoin.Otherwise, big companies would drop their plans of adopting bitcoin payments.
475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: April 22, 2017, 05:21:26 AM
I have think of it and i have save up bitcoin just a the small amount because i have plans for it to have fun like travelling didn't even save it for future purpose. so i wanted to know what are you going to do with your bitcoin if you save bitcoin. Why do you save bitcoin for? and why? what is the purpose why you save up bitcoin to your wallet and not to spend it.
I save bitcoins for the future of my family.Instead of saving gold,i have started to save digital gold bitcoin as it gives more profit than gold.I hope bitcoin price would go much high in future.
476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: April 22, 2017, 04:42:49 AM
I have heard that bitcoin is not supported in some countries. But why ? Is it because bitcoin is risky ? Some countries even declare 6 months jail if her people use bitcoin. Is it fair ? I mined few cryptos and have left mining. It was fun and challenging too. But I never got any clear answer. What does my gpu actually do ? I pay electric bill, my room temperature goes high and I get paid. With actually no skill on pc hardware and software. Whole thing is still pretty unclear to me
They believe that bitcoins will be used for buying drugs and other illegal activities. They also fear that they would lose their tax revenues. So they think bitcoin as a rival to them.
477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is not Ideal, it represents possibilities. on: April 21, 2017, 07:25:44 PM
Bitcoin can't be hacked, it's impossible.  Even 51% attacks wouldn't be hacks, they'd just be attacks on transactions.  Double spending isn't really very much of a threat unless it has no confirmations - a lot of the reason we have mining is to fix the double spend problem.

A lot of the problems you mention don't exist.  Anonymity isn't even a problem, and if people want anonymity they'll gradually move to real anonymous coins like Monero, and illegal activity will just be a side effect so it doesn't really matter that they're used for illegal activity.  Cash is as well.

Bitcoin isn't perfect but you're looking at the wrong things as problems.
Yes,the problems you mentioned are not at all an issue.Bitcoin cannot be hacked at any time.I do accept that bitcoin is not perfect. But i could surely say that bitcoin is far better than the existing centralized currencies.
478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SAUDI Bitcoin Trading on LocalBitcoins TO THE MOON on: April 21, 2017, 07:21:20 PM
Bitcoin trading volumes in Saudi Arabia via peer-to-peer trading platform LocalBitcoins have never been higher. For the first time, trading volumes topped USD $100k in bitcoin traded over a week through the decentralized platform. According to data from Coin.Dance, trading volumes last week soared nearly 3x compared to the previous week, with over SAR400,000 in bitcoin traded during the week ending on April 15, a new all-time high.

More details below:

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/saudi-bitcoin-localbitcoins-all-time-high/

Do you agree that Bitcoin will become popular in the Middle East soon?

Given the statistical data that you have mentioned it is a clear fact that bitcoin can really be famous in the middle east. Given the resources and money of the people from the middle east it is not a question on whether they can afford or not but on how much bitcoin are they planning to purchase. This oil rich countries have seen the value of bitcoin and will enlist bitcoin in their feasible investments.
giving them enough knowledge for sure they will adopt this system, oil and gold can be transact using bitcoin as they are really
rich with both venue lets see how this news will bring new momentum  in the middle east.

Yes,middle east is already filled with oil rich people and if they start adopting bitcoins, then bitcoin price would go more.More over,if the workers in middle east know about bitcoins, then surely they will benefit much by sending their hard earned money through bitcoins thereby saving higher exchange fees.
479  Economy / Economics / Re: I hate Cryptocurrency on: April 20, 2017, 03:36:40 PM
Well, I like the blockchain technology... but I have some major problems with it.

Instead of being regulated and utilized so it's a useful technology it's just become a giant faux-economy.

Exchanges, news, prices, altcoins. It never seems to end. Every coin is just feeding into bitcoin for profit. It wouldn't be so bad if there were limited hours for trading but of course because of how the blockchain works it is a 24/7 economy.

Everyone is just trying to one-up the next person by manipulating numbers to their advantage. Sure, that's a lot like the stock market but at the end of the day cryptocurrencies never produce anything other than more coins. Companies produce products and services.

Most every coin uses underhanded trolling tactics like hype accounts, insider bribes, and worse. There's nothing redeemable about the vast majority of this space.

I know there will be mostly defenders of the stupidity but god-damn it is truly ridiculous.
I dont understand why you hate crypto this much.It seems that you would have suffered a huge loss by investing in altcoins.
I do accept that few points given by you about altcoins are true. But its an innovative technology and there lots to go in its progress.
480  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Africa on: April 20, 2017, 03:27:05 PM
Yes,Bitcoin has a great future in Africa and Africans have a great future with bitcoins.Already they are getting benefit by sending remittance in bitcoin through m-pesa.Africa being a continent full of developing and poor nations would be benefited economically through bitcoin.Nigerians already adopting bitcoins due to the failure of their currency.
