This Darrell Luter is an agent of the Illuminati. The storyline for this game is written already similar to a movie screenplay. This will go to overtime where there will be much worry and suspense. The camera will begin to have more attention on Tayor Swift, her pretty face, her nervius emotion and this will change to cheers and celebration after Patrick Mahomes throws the ball to Travis Kelce for a touchdown and another superbowl. The ending very much like a fairytale. 20 - 13, Thank you for watching.

Not quite, but almost. Andy Reid made some secret adjustments to the script, wanted to win in his own way, even if it was to the dismay of Roger Goodellbot. What a great last play. Extremely well-designed. Exactly what makes the Reid/Mahomes duo so unstoppable in the playoffs/Super Bowl. Down by 3 in a must-score situation, Mahomes just methodically marched his troops down the field without a trace of fear. The man has unwavering determination. Once they were within 15 yards of the end zone or so, a TD was imminent.

Great game all the way around. 7th longest game in NFL history they said. SF will be back harder next year. They have a pretty young team with some real powerhouse players -- would not be surprised to see them in the Super Bowl again.

Who had Travis Kelce assaulting his own coach during the game? Seems like the guy is unhinged. Must be roided out of his mind or having some booster madness going on. I imagine we’ll be hearing quite a bit about that after the game. Totally inexcusable.

"Assault" lol. Seems like American Footie might be a bit too intense for you. Might want to check out the British Knitting Championships on BBC 4 later this month. I guarantee you there will be no yelling.

This Post Malone guy has too many words scribbled across his face. They should call him Post-It Malone.

They've ended up showing The Sphere more often than Taylor Swift so far. Mainly because Kelce hasn't done shit. And then that big fumble by Pacheco leaves the Chiefs trailing by 7 at the half. All in all a pretty even matchup, minus a few key biffs (and stupid penalties) by the Chiefs.

Thanks for this big brain commentary/analysis.

464  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fixedfloat is scamming me for 8000+ EUR IMPORTANT PSA! on: February 10, 2024, 12:39:16 AM
[...]
Company is registered in Seychelles. Does anyone really believe that these really give money to authorities? Especially when they or their partners make BA analysis. It's dust, nobody cares about such a tiny amounts and they keep this money for themselves.
With all due respect, I don't believe small exchanges confiscating some bucks freeze money till they get contacted from authorities unless it's a very serious case.

Well, that's the beauty of their policy, they're going to hold it in their addresses until they are seized by the authorities. Otherwise, it will be sitting nicely in their wallet. I imagine they can say some funds are still not being confiscated by the authorities and thus still remains in their possession.

What's dumb is nobody will ever come after those funds unless they are demonstrably the proceeds of a ransomware operation, hack, or theft. If the funds in question are tainted to such a degree that they're basically on fire, FixedFloat could easily just send the same amount back to the address from which they were received (preferably from the output from their receiving address). But no, they mix them in their hot wallet so they can just say, "whoops, its too late to refund our customer now." What a load of BS.

OK if anybody is interested in winning a Counterparty BitBowl team token of their choice (minus FORTYNINERS or CHIEFS b/c I'm out of extras of those), pick any one of the current prop bets, and if it wins, I'll send you one of the world's first "NFL NFTs."

You will need a Bitcoin address for which you possess the private key if you ever want to transfer or sell it.

I reckon any existing prop bet on any sportsbook is fine, so long as the outcome can be easily verified.

You sent us an NFL NFT like earlier in the year or last year right? I'm pretty sure I threw one of my counter party addy's to you, will need to double check.

Yes that's correct. They are now an official collection on xchain:

The last time I sold a full set was during the preseason :/ but by July, they will be 10 years old. Not many token projects are older.

The point is that Steve and crew kept lying. When it got to the point of posting that there is no transaction on the blockchain, Steve then went to the payments were being paid by Sportsbet in installments in USDT.

Seems like you're doing a lot of nitpicking about nothing. They don't owe you any information that could potentially be used to deanonymize the winner.

Don't know why you are backtracking from this, which was a much more reasonable stance:

The player won through Sportsbet and it’s a great gesture on Sportsbet’s part to celebrate with the player.

Sure, they may not have technically been the ones paying out the amount to the winner, but the winner had an account on Sportsbet, and its not wrong of them to want to use the event for promotional purposes. You can argue that they should have worded it better, and we all learned something about how the Wowpot works. Continuing on complaining about how the payout was conducted is a waste of time and kind of creepy. They don't owe you any further explanation.
468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NFL Playoffs & Super Bowl Prediction Thread on: February 09, 2024, 02:29:39 AM
Yesterday I put in a bet for Chiefs to win outright. At the beginning of the playoffs, I thought SF was gonna win, and indeed they are still favored by 2 points. But the Chiefs' experience in clutch games like the Super Bowl is completely unrivaled. I bet they find a way to win.

I'm also extending this contest to anyone who wants to participate (Sr. Member or above), just post your prop bet below, 1 bet per person:

OK if anybody is interested in winning a Counterparty BitBowl team token of their choice (minus FORTYNINERS or CHIEFS b/c I'm out of extras of those), pick any one of the current prop bets, and if it wins, I'll send you one of the world's first "NFL NFTs."

I reckon any existing prop bet on any sportsbook is fine, so long as the outcome can be easily verified.

Just paste a screenshot of the prop bet you found, and what sportsbook its at, so that way it can be verified. For example, "Nitrobetting, Super Bowl Coin Toss to be Tails"

Just imagine doing a parlay involving the length of the National Anthem or the coin toss and losing before the game even started. Super Bowl ruined, lol.

I did notice that you questioned the payout. LFC seems like an honest guy that was confused at first. Steve, Jeremy and notblox outright lied about the payout after being shown a link multiple times. Those three kept trying to convince us.

OK and the payout happened through which casino? On which website does the winning party have an account?
471  Economy / Reputation / Re: OGNasty back from his ban (Latest lie: Jan 24, 2024) on: February 09, 2024, 12:45:24 AM
I noticed OgNasty and Vod both dislike theymos, and both for different reasons.

And also that theymos doesn't care about any of that, which is good.

I think the fact that both of them aren't happy with theymos means he is doing a good job. It's an impossible balancing act, being able to satisfy the egos of two conflicting, demanding personalities.

472  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit didnt help me as Gambling Addicted - not closing main account on time on: February 08, 2024, 02:28:48 PM
So please tell me what "circumventing" I made. Did I create a new account? Did I change my device and network? Did I provide someone else data to KYC? NO<
I even contacted them before getting in my main account. Then they blocked the withdraw (how convenient).

Cmon bro. You self-excluded yourself from one account knowing full well you had another account. Then you went through the trouble of signing into it, gambling there, and then ran into problems? Is that really such a shocker?

I have never dealt with Rollbit, nor do I ever intend to, but again, the best advice I can give you is to just walk away. Don't look back. Find something more worthy of your precious time while on Planet Earth.
473  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit didnt help me as Gambling Addicted - not closing main account on time on: February 08, 2024, 02:04:19 PM
"Rollbit will not be held liable for any loss or damages which occured as a result of circumventing our self-exclusion program"

Pretty obvious that's exactly what happened here...

I don't really know what OP expects of us bringing this issue here.

Somewhere between testing how sympathetic Bitcointalk regulars are and expressing genuine distress due to a very specific type of mental disorder (no offense if that's the case OP... we all have problems).
474  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: New SEC Requirement for DEX Liquidity Providers on: February 08, 2024, 03:58:24 AM
Seems like it only applies to those living in the US. I mean, technically, if you service US-based clients and are not cleared with the SEC, seems like it could create some legal trouble. But they'd have to bother finding out who you are, do a full investigation, and then bring extraditable charges against you.

The whole point of a DEX is that nobody can shut it down as there is no single point of failure, legally or otherwise. In principle, anyway.

You don't think its your fault for failing to request that both of your accounts be closed?

They can only help you so much, you know...

Of course, you could also just stop visiting the site altogether, or any gambling site for that matter.

Continuing to make an issue out of it isn't going to do anything good for your problem. If I were you I would just walk away and find other hobbies to occupy your mind with.

I know, its all easier said than done. But ultimately the only one that can help you is you.
477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could bitcoin become extinct? on: February 08, 2024, 01:47:22 AM
The only way it would happen is if use drops off to a point where it no longer makes sense to continue running the network. It has happened to countless shitcoin blockchains in the past. But when it comes to BTC, I can only see it happening under a few different circumstances (short of WW3 destroying all communications & knocking out power grids on a global scale):

- an exploit of elliptic curve cryptography renders anybody's coins steal-able
- a backdoor in SHA-256 allows the NSA to basically rug the entire network
- quantum computers are used to brute force private keys

Any of these things can be fixed in future versions of Bitcoin. That is what's great about it: it can continue evolving and is not necessarily fixed in one particular form.
478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: February 08, 2024, 12:59:43 AM
Lot's of crazy prop bets for Taylor like what color shirt will she be wearing, if she'll be shown on TV eating a hotdog or not, etc lol.

What kind of odds can I get she wears a pink shirt while eating a hot dog? How about 8:1?

Here's some other good ones I see:

 - Length of ‘America the Beautiful’ by Post Malone
 - Reba McEntire Primary Color of Boots
 - Who will be seen first during National Anthem: Swift, Kelce, or Both (split screen/together)

I forgot that there are degens outside of crypto as well. Because that is some hardcore degen shit.

Line remains firmly at SF -2. However, everyone I know and their granny thinks the Chiefs are gonna win. Actually seems like a no-brainer, but maybe the script will play out differently. Taking Chiefs ML today.

Yes he mentioned that already in his first post:

I just made a post quoting Chat GPT and I don't even know if that was following the rules.

And the way he went about it was the correct way:

...
CHAT GPT SAYS THE FOLLOWING after my below prompting to it after I searched the proccess of signing one's bitcoin address since I have never actually done so nor knew the potential risks assumed once done:

"Would signing that message in any way compomise the security of the private key? What are the drawbacks to doing this for ones security both of their keys and of their location?
ChatGPT
Signing a message with a Bitcoin address does not directly compromise the security of the private key, as the key itself is never exposed or transmitted during the signing or verification process. ...

It's worth it for those who might have enough trust ratings on this forum

Sorry but you're in no position to make this kind of judgment.

Nobody had ever heard of that forum before the mixer ban here. They are clearly capitalizing on a one-off deal to its fullest extent. The whole thing reeks of opportunism.

If you feel like spending money for a chance to make money is worth it, fine, but don't come crying here after you realize you got scammed.
