For example IPO will collect 500BTC. Devs want money for their previous work, ok 100btc. They want money for current work, ok another 100btc. 300btc will be held for future development (who will control this fund?). I dont understand if they want that every work they will do will be paid, why they want to get such big percent of coins in their hands. It is kind like I (group of investors) hire someone and he will make some product for me.  But they will get 15% of coins ( 100 btc at IPO price) more. So they want money for product and want to have this product.

1. We will not get btc for previous work.
2. All btc for future development.
3. Btc will be store on our btc account, all payments will be described (reports every month).

This is why I like this project and engage more guys into this IPO, if they raise more BTC in IPO phase, they will have enough money to hire guys to do more development, marking, implement more features, I know some rich men in my QQ groups who are not good at English, I will let them know this coin, I think they are very interesting in IPO. Let broadcast this coin information in QQ groups, forums to let more guys join in the IPO, some Chinese are NOT good at English.
But only in reasonable amount. 300-500 is awesome, but 1000-infinite is awful for investors profit.

300-500 really awesome
And i agree, 1000-infinite is awful for investors profit.
If you are agree, why you dont set max cap for btc in ipo. For example 500 btc.

+1

I will discuss with guys. I'm creator and developer. But i'm not one, all have own opinions.

I think if you will raise 500 btc in IPO, 5-7% will be enough for dev team. 400 btc is great amount for future development.

So maybe you could work for me for several months just for 625$ per month? If you think 5% for 8 people is ok? 500btc*5%/8*(~600$)/(~3or4 months or maybe even more)=625$
I don't think that devs made this all just for 625$. I'm sure they have big plans to bring this coin on the top.

Only developers work for with a salary, full time. 300-500 is very good for 1-2 years in Russia. We have a lot of work. Timeline in OP post not include all features. You are not right.

Looks so like NXT......
A NXT clone, and has an unfair distribution.
Not optimistic about this coin's future.

Written in Node.js, another PoS algorithm.
But i have looked at Nxt source, it helped me a lot.

Beta? It's not even alpha.
No mask symbols in password field on login screen (Firefox). OK in Chrome.
I can set negative amount and press send button - no error.
I can set incorrect password and press send button - no error.
No account number validation? NXT had some problem with this.
No error when address creating with incorrect password.
Transactions do not appear in the transaction list, although the amount was changed.
Incorrect date in blockchain (May)?
etc.

Thanks! We will fix it and we are working now.
May block - genesis block.

475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Crypti | Release June | 100% POS | New Source on: June 26, 2014, 06:39:00 PM
i am suspicious because:

1) they ask for money way up front, prior to proven development

2) the dev, "crtpti", is a newby log on. Likely a new posting ID from someone who launched other schemes here.  See STACKcoin.  Also, see CryptoMeth, where the dev has been AWOL ever since a huge dump of coins immediately after listing on MintPal.

3) They profess to be able to get merchants to use their coin... but BTC already has that market in development.  The merchant market is still very small, and will be for at least 2 more years.  Merchants have no need to accept BTC, since credit cards, debit cards, Paypal and cash work so well.  Merchants dont have time to convert cryptocoins to cash.  Until it is as easy and idiotproof to transact in BTC as it is in Credit Cards, merchants will not use any cryptocoin.

4) transactions have to be confirmed, by miners.   With half of the coins premined, there is little incentive for miners to mine.  Unless there are miners, there are no confirms and no transactions completed.  This is the problem with Quark.  All coins have been mined, so transactions have to be confirmed by those willing to use their rig for a few Quarktoshi per confirmation.

System does not include miners. Please, read white-paper. This is PoS. Only forgers: setup node and start forging in wallet.

You can see my name in first post: Boris Povod. Just google it, i have accounts on twitter, odesk.

Coin is e-commerce oriented, one main thing - custom blockchains. We want to attract not just a lot of shops, we want to give the opportunity to create new infrastructures for business: useful decentralized computing, trade, storage.

How long has your team been working on crypti?

From february 2014.

I am still concerned that it could be a centralized client - server model as it is closed source. They need to do a third party audit of the code to gain my and other potential investors trust.

Source will be published in 3 month after release. Before it will be just js obfuscated code.
After IPO, i think, we will build tester group from forum members who will tests coin, finds issues and etc.

node.js ? node.js for client side or node.js for both server side and client side? use node.js write p2p software?

Node.js on backend. JS on frontend.
