Looks so like NXT......
A NXT clone, and has an unfair distribution.
Not optimistic about this coin's future.

Written in Node.js, another PoS algorithm.
But i have looked at Nxt source, it helped me a lot.

  • Do you think that a 0.5% transaction fee would be better? Or would everyone be more in favor of a set transaction fee, such as 1 Crypti per X amount sent?
  • If you did want us to institute a cap on the IPO, what kind of cap? Total BTC raised? Amount per person?
  • If we were to institute vesting for the 15% developer payments, would this help? What kind of mechanism would be best? Embedding in block chain or escrow?
1. I don't like 1% fee. I'm used to that can send coins between addresses without thinking about the cost of the transaction (in at least between my own addresses or to / from exchange).
Maybe a good option would be to limit the % at top and bottom?
For example fee is 1%, but not less than 1 Crypti and not more than 100 Crypti
(if I want to send 1 crypti - I pay 1 (min) fee, 500 = 5 (1%) fee, 50000 = 100 (max) fee).
2. The presence of an total cap could affect my decision when to invest - at the beginning or the end of period.
Perhaps you should define the total cap... 500-1000 BTC. So calmly. But not critical.
3. The main - desire to develop your product, if it is not - it does not matter how you get your money.
So I don't care about this options.

If you want to hear the opinion of the majority, it is better to create a poll and not rely on the most active positions in this thread or solve everything themselves.

Grexx and Devs thanks for sharing your thoughts.

IMHO:
1. no cap is needed - its unenforceable and redundant.
2. vesting is a must! - an escrow mechanism will be the optimum
3. keep the fees as said before - floating numbers

All of you, to me, delaying the IPO was a big sign of mature and serious thinking. Developers could easily start the process and get dozens of BTC without publishing anything, And they chose not to.

while there are certainly a lot more work to be done, these guys are not afraid of hard work and keep improving, try to be more supportive.

I would prefer a cap of 1-2BTC and entrance to accounts created before the OP

For example IPO will collect 500BTC. Devs want money for their previous work, ok 100btc. They want money for current work, ok another 100btc. 300btc will be held for future development (who will control this fund?). I dont understand if they want that every work they will do will be paid, why they want to get such big percent of coins in their hands. It is kind like I (group of investors) hire someone and he will make some product for me.  But they will get 15% of coins ( 100 btc at IPO price) more. So they want money for product and want to have this product.

They want money for current work, ok another 100btc. 300btc will be held for future development (who will control this fund?). 1. We will not get btc for previous work.
2. All btc for future development.
3. Btc will be store on our btc account, all payments will be described (reports every month).

I think if you will raise 500 btc in IPO, 5-7% will be enough for dev team. 400 btc is great amount for future development.

This is why I like this project and engage more guys into this IPO, if they raise more BTC in IPO phase, they will have enough money to hire guys to do more development, marking, implement more features, I know some rich men in my QQ groups who are not good at English, I will let them know this coin, I think they are very interesting in IPO. Let broadcast this coin information in QQ groups, forums to let more guys join in the IPO, some Chinese are NOT good at English.
But only in reasonable amount. 300-500 is awesome, but 1000-infinite is awful for investors profit.
