If you want to secure your assets for 2025 I think keeping them in BTC is the best choice because after the ETF approval I think BTC will enter a new phase and the price will continue to rise after the halving. I can't agree with your statement because long-term investment in Bitcoin is not the only way to get profit. A lot of profit can be earned even by short term investment.
