You will be able to arrive at an Airport or a Train Station in any major city around the world without any need to carry traveler’s cheques or stack of paper bills to exchange for local currency. Bitcoin ATM will be right there, to dispense the local fiat in exchange for some Bits in your Bitcoin wallet - a minor inconvenience till Bitcoin becomes global, universally accepted currency.
+50 countries visited so far and one of my 3 credit/debit cards always worked everywhere. Did your banks charge a "Foreign Currency Markup" when you used your credit/debit cards?

Cause it's better, simpler and you control your funds! No one can touch your money!
This is pretty much in a nutshell one of the primary reasons governments won't allow Bitcoin to replace fiat...even if adoption reaches a grand scale. as mentioned above, in a democracy, the people are the government. also the issue or question of bitcoin replacing traditional government fiat is not up to any central authority, it is up to the market if the market does not accept fiat at a large enough pace and does accept bitcoin at a large enough pace then bitcoin has replaced fiat The Government has enough tools at hand (taxation, regulation) to ensure that this does not happen.

You can thanks Wall street and other bankster if a WW3 begin , more than a Putin, Ebomama or Hilarator ...
Extensive trade is one reason why countries might hesitate to start a war. It will not be the cause for them.

I wonder why some diseases always start in africa countries , like ebola and aids.
What about swine flu and mad cow disease? Where do you think they started?

Maybe a better question is: "Why do you think people hate Islam?"
I would say ignorance, prejudice and the shameful acts of a handful of people.

I wonder if you would be legally allowed to own dogs if they became citizens.

Pulling out the movie doesn't show Sony in a favourable light. Plus they already got a lot of publicity until now; no point in postponing the movie release.

Maybe you should do this job! You're exactly right. This user failed the 15-day evaluation.
I guess I like to follow this thread closely.

This lends a whole new meaning to the phrase "This country has gone to the dogs".

This has been done when the Department of Homeland Security says that the threat is not credible. They should have shown more spine.

IMO if a private citizen has shot the kid instead of a police officer the private citizen would not have been charged
This is rich. The police can get away with murder; an ordinary citizen will have his ass fried.

Does torture work?
As a question this compares to "Is slavery commercially feasible?" & "Can genocide help overpopulation?"
Shame on the US for torturing prisoners....
I think they would justify it under "greater good" argument. The US should probably stop lecturing other countries about human rights, now that we know that they consider torture as a legitimate interrogation method.

Would they continue to have children? If yes, the world would very soon run out of space and resources for all of us.

I do not think that islam hates people. The problem is in the fact that there are people, who want to fight - in normal life that type of people are going in the army, but in islam countries sometimes they are going in organized groups to fight. This is not EASY question.
The problem is what were initially fringe groups are now attracting followers as well as money.

I don't think today Satoshi is very happy about what bitcoin become.
Bitcoin is still essentially what it was from the beginning, with a few enhancements and bug fixes. I mean: Satoshi would not like mining to be completely centralized in the hand of few pools. Do you remember him expressing against GPU mining? Can'timagine what he thinks of ASICS... Perhaps the son of Satoshi will came on the earth one day I wonder what Satoshi would have thought of ETFs of Bitcoin.
