461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When is best for a player to draw the line? on: April 06, 2024, 12:11:51 PM
When you have played enough games and there is no win then you have to draw the line and relax for some days or when you have win big then you have to draw the line so that you can relax yourself and enjoy winning for days before coming back again. But there are some addicted ones will don't have break. They are only interested to play gamble whether they win or not it is not their problem. So those kind people have no limitation and break in their gambling. And in normal sense people stop gambling when they lose games because winning games make them to come back and play gamble always.
And for me I stopped when I have lose to relax my mind and think which strategy I will in the next coming.
Sometimes you also don't just need to look at the winning or losing amount before you can call it a stop for that day. If you check yourself very well and notice that you have bet so much that very day, even if you are on the winning side, you need to just stop and take a rest that very day.

If you don't know when to stop and you set your stopping limit to be on either your high lose or great win, it might affect you as a gambler without even knowing it. If you are winning and you don't stop, it might later result in a great loss. So to me, the best way is to just have a number of betting hours, and once that time is exceeded, you can call it a stop.

I think the most difficult is when you are winning because of human nature which has deep roots that call for being greedy, and that is in every human being that is just the way we are built. We always want more and more and if you see the rich people they want more and more while all we get in the final ending is just 2 m of land. That is the most difficult to draw the line when you are winning big and you feel that pleasure, killing pleasure and voices telling you to keep going as you may hit the jackpot because this seems your day and in such cases when people continue they continue until they lose it all.

I was expecting a strong McLaren as the last laps of Australian GP they were making fastest laps in a consecutive way and it was only Leclerc last lap that made those fastest laps disappear, the fact that also Piastri is there it shows that they have made some better configuration to the car as I don't know yet of an upgrade package from McLaren and I think it is good that also are there fighting for the podium at least while they may have also a go at winning the race if we have rain, safety cars or tire degradation from Redbull which we have seen in the first two races so far, they were not great with the tires.
463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you consider yourself, the family and gambling? on: April 05, 2024, 09:01:07 PM
Lets take a look at the family aspect of everyone gambling and try to give our individual opinions concerning these questions i will like us to discuss from regarding how we are gambling and how that can affect the family for the benefits of those already having one and those that will soon be in the league of a family man, lets make it as simple as possible in giving our earnest contributions on our take from this following questions i have for us.

1. At what age will you allow your child to start gambling? that is if you will even allow for that at all?
2. At what age do you see yourself quit gambling? that is also if some of us are going to ever do so?
3. Ever since you have started gambling, have you ever achieve a satisfying level that makes you think it has good impact on you?
4. Would you have missed out on anything if you were not a gambler?

I will only answer the first question which is a categorical no,absolutely no as I know the dangers of gambling and I don't want my child to go through the pain that I have gotten when I was addicted to gambling not long ago in 2019-2020.The second question answer I am afraid that there is only one answer to this and that is every vice gets out when our spirit gets out meaning when we die,so I don't think for anyone that there is the possibility of quitting gambling forever in this life although many people may quit gambling for quite a long time I guarantee no one of them has ever achieved to quit gambling once they were deep down with it.The question 3 and 4 are not relevant to me at all.
464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Understanding the Legality and Myth of Card Counting in Blackjack on: April 05, 2024, 08:49:01 PM
I have learned that card counting is legal in blackjack but casinos frown at it. Most casinos have a surveillance camera that watch each table to catch a player who caught counting cards. A player may be thrown out or banned from the casino if caught counting cards because there is a belief that it gives the player an edge. How true is this or this a myth? If for instance card counting is legal in the UK but outlawed by casinos doesn't it makes it illegal?

The experts at counting cards don't need to do anything, they can count in full quietness and use that to their own advantage. It is not a myth at all as if it is done right, the person also has the right amount of patience to wait and go all in in a hand that he is sure to win it this gives the person the upper edge. Most casinos though know this trick and they use different deck of cards to counter such happenings,I have gone personally in the biggest casino where I live to verify this and yes they were using quite a big number of different decks, this way they are sure and safe from that count carding trick which if done right can make the casino lose their house edge.
465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏁🏎️ Sportsbet.io🏁 FORMULA 1 2024 Season🏁🏎️Prediction Pool Discussion Thread on: April 05, 2024, 08:27:09 PM
Don't forget to make your predictions as the qualifying session is going to be at an early time tomorrow. The Suzuka track is a quite suitable track for Red Bull cars. Besides Red Bull is coming here with a new update package. However Red Bull didn't have enough chance to try the car because of the weather conditions in the second practice session.

That is true, however in the first practice session they dominated the session and I believe they to have spare power to use as I am sure no one goes all out in the first Friday practice session. This means that most likely there will be a one-two finish from Redbull team if rain is not here or accidents do not happen otherwise those are the only race altering events excluding another mechanical failure to the Redbull that can make the race interesting. The only good thing is that Sainz I don't know what happened to him but is driving brilliantly and it is right there in the tail of the Redbull and maybe with those race altering events Ferrari can manage another win making it back to back.

^  Whoa there...  Lol.  Wdym beat Lewis Hamilton and win his first driver's championship?  Cheesy  Nothing of that sort is happening as long as Hamilton is around.  There was that one year with Nico Rosberg but that was about it.  Rosberg called it quits and ran with his tail between his legs.  Lol.

As for George Russell, the only reason why he's beating Hamilton this year is cos Hamilton has been sucking more than Russell is improving.  I think even Vettel could beat Russell with the same car at any given week.  But that's just me...

Of course Hamilton is not having any motivation to bring it to race like he used to when he was dominating the sport,as long as there is no real motivation for what you are fighting for meanwhile you have already signed a contract with another team it is only normal to suck more than Russell who fights for improving his place at Mercedes or going to some new better team will perform better.I also think Vettel in the same car can easily beat Russell.

We only was able to watch FP1 today as the FP2 was hindered by rain throughout the track and most drivers, most of the important ones didn't finish a single lap.The FP1 though showed once again that Redbull is still the top team having finished 1-2 although the good news is that Ferrari specifically in the hand of Sainz is there to try and fight it out, just 0.213 away from Verstappen. In the race with a bit of rain and the right strategy they can win this.

Just about to put my picks in. There aren’t many games left now so those jostling for paid prize positions may have to get inventive to get more points than those around them.

I feel like I may have to pick not obvious scores to move up the table(s).

I think you have done a brilliant job last match day as you climbed up 8 positions,I believe you got that Real Madrid draw right where almost everyone else got it wrong.I think that if you improvised your results during last round you got lucky and if you keep doing the same the risk is high to not be as lucky this time, nevertheless the higher the risk the higher the reward as they say.
469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Land Based Casinos in the Digital Age on: April 05, 2024, 09:16:07 AM
Hey everyone,

As online gambling platforms continue to grow in popularity, I’ve been wondering about the future of traditional, land based casinos. With the convenience and accessibility of online betting, will brick-and-mortar casinos become a thing of the past, or will they evolve to offer experiences that can’t be replicated online?

Do you think they’ll manage to hold their ground, or will we see a shift towards exclusively digital platforms?

Where I live the government intervened in their benefit as allowed only 2-3 big ones and banning every other gambling platform including online and offline. One of them is in the central park and I see a lot of persons entering there to enjoy gambling, usually I see them at night when I go for a walk with my wife. This means that it depends on any government politics if they will support such casinos or they will shift their support to the online ones.

From my long years of experience in betting what can ruin your fun, emotions and mental health is overdoing it.I used to be addicted some years ago and I got there because I always was chasing loses. From then it was a difficult journey to recover and to stop gambling and that came with one simple rule, which is I always thought before gambling, where I will be with the money if I didn't gamble and after thinking thoroughly I came to the conclusion that is better the money to be in my wallet rather than risking it.It works when you put your logic before your desires.
471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Claw Machines: a category of gambling? on: April 05, 2024, 07:54:27 AM
This is mostly a skill game rather than gambling. You know everything you need to know here and there are no hidden surprises like a changed RTP so much common nowadays in absolutely every reputable casino and new ones.In here if you are skillful enough or better smart enough to learn the patterns of how those prizes move by trying a few times it can make you skillful enough to get the paper money or the best electronic gadget these machines offer.
472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What you think about cheating in gambling? on: April 05, 2024, 07:26:27 AM
Hi,

Luck plays a role in the percentage of your chances of winning or losing in gambling, but this does not mean that gambling is based on luck. There are always other factors that play the same role as luck or more, and when you bet, you will search for all the ways that may help you to win , including reading the game and trying fallacy and others.... Among these methods is cheating, and we cannot deny here that every gambler who has the opportunity to cheats without being detected will take advantage of it. Players cheats, the dealers cheats everybody cheats... .Cheating exists in gambling despite the existence of laws in this regard, knowing that its practice has become difficult with the development of security systems.

When you sit at the gambling table in a casino, do not think that all the smiling faces that meet you are sincere. Everyone is there for the same reason which is to win, and some do not care about the method the important thing for them is winning.

The majority of gamblers don't cheats but some of us are cheaters and the end always justifies the means.

What do you think about cheating and cheaters?
Honestly, would you cheat if you had the chance?

I would not cheat as that is the way I have had my education but I know a lot of people would be more than willing to cheat if they had a chance to do so.They motivate such behavior with the saying that the casino is already cheating of us by rigging the RTP of slot machines and using tricks in table games so now is our chance for our vengeance.I don't support such behavior as it is the same as allowing stealing in daily life so this type of action is damaging to the whole society.
473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does prediction in sport work for you? on: April 05, 2024, 07:05:13 AM
If you are interested in gambling on sports, do you rely on prediction betting sites? Why?
What is the most prominent site you rely on?

In pro sports gambling /betting, I prefer doing my analysis on my own. Especially if the teams (if football or basketball) or the fighters( boxing/ ufc) that are going play and fight against with is the teams I am supporting and familiar with. For me it's more exciting because I look up to news, or any updates with the team, if there is someone who has injury, or lack of players in a team. Lastly when I still cannot decide, I just pick blindly depends on odds board where sometimes I get lucky too.

I used to think it works until I tried myself following such services, payment services like Premiumtipping and it looked like I was going to make money as sometimes they won their bets with 4 games parlay and odds near 2 in total. However with the passing of time they were more losing than winning and I didn't continue my subscription there.I still though like to copy other people bets in the platform where I play and offer such option as I don't have time to analyze things myself properly.
474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: April 04, 2024, 09:06:09 PM
Yeah there is nothing that can stop Liverpool from qualifying from the Europa League quarter finals because they have been very consistent in wining since the beginning of this season and Atalanta doesn't have enough quality performance to win Liverpool, so with the way the league is moving I believe Liverpool has a good chance of wining the league but the only problem they would have is that if Bayern Leverkusen also qualify to the finals they will meet each other and we know that in as much as Liverpool is very good, Bayern Leverkusen on the other hand are also very good because they have a very good impact they are making on their local league, so meeting with Liverpool will surely be a very strong match that everyone will be interested to watch.
If talking about consistency in the winning trend since group phase until quarter final I think Bayern Leverkusen is the only of Europe League teams participants with 100% winning record not Liverpool. In this season, Leverkusen unbeaten and had all winning matches on group phase but got draw at the first leg of 16 round but keep unbeaten all Europe League matches.
Liverpool vs Bayern Munich are most ideal Europe League final match, but both team still has important match in quarter final until semifinal round with Bayern Leverkusen potential have to face the winner team on quarter final between AS Roma or AC Milan, after winning quarter final match will Leverkusen success eliminating the Serie A team and qualifying to final for facing Liverpool?

You are right, Leverkusen have a 100% winning record in the group stage which they are the only team capable of doing so. But Leverkusen drew 2-2 against Qarabag in the first leg of the round of 16 and were 100% lucky to win the second leg in injury time. Leverkusen certainly has a better record this season in the Europa League compared to Liverpool, but both are teams with different quality and squad depth.

Leverkusen has a good chance in the quarter-finals against West Ham. The first leg was played at home and that meant Leverkusen had a good advantage to win. West Ham is dangerous, especially because of its goal statistics against Freiburg in the round of 16. Despite this, Leverkusen is the favorite to progress to the semifinals compared to West Ham. Many people are optimistic about it, including me.

I don't think we can judge Leverkussen lucky to face last year Europa Conference League winner so most likely this will be a very much intensely fought battle and the English teams are known to be performing very well when they put the heart in play. The record of Leverkussens surely is scary so far as they have already won the Bundesliga with much distance in points difference yet I don't think they will have an easy encounter against West Ham which this year has not been doing the same as last year brilliant performance yet they are not far that much from it,so it is an open encounter, anyone can move further and it would not be a surprise.

We will have good weather in Japan for the duration of the Grand Prix and tests.

Red Bull should be favored but Ferrari has already said it will use an aggressive approach for this race too.

honestly I think they could fight for pole but not for victory (if max doesn't have mechanical problems)

In fact in this track I don't think Ferrari will suffer that much.I have seen the races during all the years here and most of the time Ferrari have a good feeling with this track,in the hand of good drivers like Leclerc and Sainz if they manage to get Pole position and get out first out of the first corner things can be manageable for the Ferrari team.

Of course Max Verstappen is eager now to score as many points as he can as he comes from a 0 points race in Australia yet for me this track is not the most suitable one for Redbull, they had problems last year or the year before that if I remember correctly although they managed to win the race,it was difficult for them, this time maybe even more difficult since Ferrari form is great.

There is no update on the future of Japanese Grand Prix yet but I hope things aren't very serious there.  Sad  If the conditions are okay I would really love to watch this race like many other people. It is once again an early race for the most part of the world but there is nothing to do about it. F1 lovers would set their alarms to watch it anyway.

The news about Vettel makes me excited as well. I wouldn't expect him to return this quick to F1 honestly. Maybe he got bored in his normal life and wanted to get into the action once again. Watching him race for Mercedes in 2025 would be awesome.  Smiley
It looks that Japan wasn't affected by this terrible earthquake, I didn't even saw serious tals anywhere that Japanese GP can be cancelled. And yeah, this is early race for people in Europe or Africa, but fortunately not that early as Australian GP Cheesy.
And Vettel - I don't believe that we will see him in F1 again. I see more likely that he can go to other racing series.

In fact not only there have been news about a possible cancellation of this grand prix but if you check the official F1 Instagram page you will see there many posts of drivers having a whole lot of fun by exploring Japan thoroughly, only tomorrow they start the free practice which makes them fully concentrated on the race weekend.

As for Vettel I would love a come back from him even if the performance of Mercedes assuming he will be driving for them will just be average,a driver like Vettel can make them feel much more powerful,in fact the only true dominating car Vettel had was Redbull where he won 4 titles.
477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Telegram Casinos (2) on: April 04, 2024, 06:23:40 PM
I would not trust much people running casinos on an anonymous platform like Telegram. The most you will find there are people and groups sharing betting tips and strategies about how to win in gambling referring specifically to so called betting tips or the scam of fixed games. You will only get lost in such a place while we have the casinos in the sun that are reputable, offer all the games we need to and more and there is no real reason why someone should be chasing casinos claiming to be played through an anonymous social media like Telegram. This is like asking for trouble when everything can be played without any in reputable casinos.
478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: April 04, 2024, 04:59:47 PM
Next season will be a real challenge for Leverkusen. They will play in the Champions League and that is a high level competition. Xabi must be able to rotate players and add variations to match tactics. I think club management will give Xabi a budget to find the players he wants. And for tactics I think if you play at a level like the Champions League you really need a variety of tactics because strong teams from other leagues will look for your weaknesses. And if they find your weaknesses then the teams in the domestic league will also find out your tactical weaknesses if you lack tactics.
This is also the most decisive step for Xabi ALonso to show that he is worthy of managing the team. His decision to stay was also part of Xabi Alonso goal to bring Leverkusen back to experiencing the UCL competition with different strengths. The UCL clubs are certainly looking forward to the match against Leverkusen, because they have an unbeaten record of more than 40 matches. Certainly an attraction in itself, Xabi Alonso really wants to rise to a higher level next season. We can't predict much but Levekusen confidence in the Bundesliga clearly gives a positive aura for prestige in the Champions League.

The Champions League is much more competitive than the Bundesliga. We saw some lacking in the last European game of Leverkussen where they were down at home 0-2 from a team from Azerbaijan league like Qarabag and sure they finally managed to win the game 3-2 yet this shows that they have not yet the confidence needed in European competitions, that comes only with experience.I also agree and enjoy the choice of Xabi Alonso to stay in Leverkussen and try to bring back the glory they had in the 2000-s when they were playing and winning a final against Bayern Munchen in the Champions League,so surely is a great thing that he is staying.
479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lately I've been thinking about this a lot. on: April 04, 2024, 02:31:22 PM
So I happened to watch a UFC related movie yesterday and the main character is a very strong one who never loses a fight but during a fight he decided to lose the fight, I found out that he did it intentionally because his uncle and his uncle's friend bet a lot on the biggest odd, which is the other fighter.

He lost the fight and he still made a lot of money from his uncle and his uncle's friend, how brilliant? Since they use a large amount and also on the biggest odd, but I think about the other gamblers who chose to bet on him because there was assurance that he would win the fight.

Now I started to think about the real life UFC, maybe this is even happening underground and we don't know? Jake and Mike Tyson's upcoming fight for example is gearing up, many believe that Mike will win, but maybe something like this will happen?

Many gamblers are placing bets on this fighter since its more reliable than you against the casino games, this is all about agility and skills, but the possibility of intent loss to make more money is also possible in this game, what's your take on this?

It is here and in every other sport games. You risk such things in sport betting as we have seen odds of 1.07 in tennis losing the game and odds of 1.04 in basketball. This means that most people with power like big bookies will try to alter things as if all odds of lower 1.10 would win their games the bookies would be losing money so these are well known things, some intentional lost games may be the standard in such sports yet it is still much better than playing slot games.
480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: April 04, 2024, 02:03:28 PM
sebastian Vettel spoken to journalists today and admitted how he had been feeling over the past few weeks.

The German driver admitted that in recent days he has been in contact with Toto Wolff

But the news doesn't stop there, the driver has basically made it clear that he could return to racing in 2025 but it depends a lot on the level of the car he would be entrusted with

There is a place free at Mercedes during 2025 as Hamilton is leaving and for me if Vettel is remotely thinking in F1 he should do it with a Mercedes as I don't see any better option than Mercedes which has free slots from the teams running, the other 3 strong teams have their line up most likely fixed for the upcoming season. So it would be great to see Vettel back in driving a great car like Mercedes which I assume would be running a good performance.
